This place is incredible. I have 4 guitars, and 4 basses. I’ve had The Music Academy service all of them. Every instrument, every request, every special concern has been met, addressed, and brought to my exact need and desire. Things that I don’t anticipate, they come up with solutions that improve the instrument beyond my wildest dreams. They have earned my business for the entirety of my musical journey. No other shop comes close to matching their level of customer service, technical skill, and foresight. I have had nothing but the highest confidence that my instrument will come back to me well beyond what it was upon arrival. Rich, Dave, and Joe are a team that I will entrust my gear to be serviced with for the foreseeable future, guaranteed

Been in there a couple times. Had the truss rod and action adjusted on my electric LTD Bass Guitar. They did a nice job! Only reason I didnt give 5 stars was it took a bit longer than I would of liked, and the shop has a limited selection of gear and equipment. Although its more of a smaller owned general music store like many others. Happy to go back again for minor repair work, and keep supporting a local business.

Nice small town music store! Great location in the heart of West Bend. It is a really nice place to find instruments, equipment, lessons and repairs. The staff is friendly and I enjoy that its a local resource for musicians!!

Great small downtown local music store with a pretty good variety of instruments and lessons. On street parking only so consider an early arrival at busy times.

My son was a Guitar student here for 8 years. Learned so much, Rich was patient, knowledgeable and willing to guide him with all genres of music. Their summer rock band series paired him with other students of similar age/skill level and he has remained a band with that group today playing at local venues. Cannot say enough about Richs dedication to his students and the craft.

Ive had a guitar and banjo set up and am very happy with the service and the excellent work they do. This is a real gem of a shop to have in West Bend!

Horrible service, guy at the counter couldn’t even be bothered to acknowledge we were even there, never said a word or even lifted his head from his computer the whole time we were in the store, will definitely be buying my equipment elsewhere

I take piano lessons here with Jan and absolutely love it! I really like how I can learn from the book but be able to apply what I learn with a song of my choice that I learn to sightread. Lessons are great and they have a real nice selection of items, especially electric guitars.

Rich does an excellent job. This local business has great customer service and the people that work there are always willing to help.
