Perfection! Great place to go for ANYTHING that suits your taste buds! The selection is beyond belief. Calm, peaceful, and just a getaway to browse to your hearts content! There are plenty of associates to ask any questions you may have that are constantly offering assistance. The prices are more than competitive with many special deals. Worth the trip!

Everything you expect from Total Wine is at this location. Very friendly, helpful staff. Never too busy or cramped inside. Staff wears masks and there are safety dividers at checkout. Great selection, prices, and an easy online order system if you rather not shop in store.

Normally I come to this location to stock up on my wine, I never had an issue they were always friendly and helpful. Until today the gentlemen with the glasses at the bar tasting was ignoring me to the point where another customer pointed to me and told him to assist me. It was discriminatory to say the least and not to mentioned they followed me around the store. I’m appalled and I won’t be returning.

I’m a local that came by to see an amazing variety and the first worker was super helpful and even offered me a job in a similar department. My experience was great until I ran into the manager at checkout... who in their right mind put this dude in charge of this store? Not only was he rude but I asked him questions about inventory and he took me as an absolute joke. I won’t be returning until the management issue is resolved!

Went to get high end champagne for a gift. The other store was supposed to call ahead so that it was ready when I got there. He called, but the West Hartford store did nothing to get it ready for me. Box was missing--probably taken by an employee. So he wrapped it in a foil bag with a tin ribbon. Not very impressive. If you are spending $200 on a bottle of champagne, shouldnt you expect more? Poor service.

This place is a revelation! By far the best selection in CT, with everything helpfully divided by region, spirit, etc. One example: an entire six-shelf bay dedicated to vermouth! Impeccably clean, friendly, knowledgeable staff, frequent promotional events. They have a rewards program and a mix six promotion that discounts many wines. Easy parking right across from WestFarms Mall.

Very knowledgeable staff... i mean EVERYONE is... 🤣... very friendly atmosphere... always greeted by someone willing to help. Almost forgot, the blueberry cocktail caviar was divine!!! Lol and I love the plastic bags... so durable and reusable! You can always take a box located right by the registers if you are overwhelmed by the plastics🙄... CHEERS!

Did an online order. Very quick and easy. 30 mins later it was ready for pick up. Curbside was quick. Check in and two minutes later someone brought it out. Definitely recommend.

Great variety of wines and spirits, staff is knowledgeable and will make recommendations if you are not sure what might work for you. It still has that warehouse feel to it, not the quaint little wine shop but you do get a great selection to choose from.

I love this place! There is almost always stuff to try when you walk in. There is also tasting days/times. Lots of wines to choose from. Lots of different beers, both local and not. Great selection. Staff is usually very helpful. Definitely my favorite place to get wine and beer. Highly recommend you try this place if you havent been to a total wine & more.

I just had a wonderful and pleasant series of interactions with one of the sales associates (or perhaps manager?) Mark who was gracious and flexible enough to allow me to borrow a bunch of plastic beverage crates for my Ugandan introduction wedding ceremony this coming weekend. The tradition requires the groom to bring crates of beer and soda in at certain times during the negotiations and I was stressing about how I could find so many that would fit only 12 cans or bottles. Mark was immediately open to the idea of me borrowing them for the week. I really appreciate it, Mark! You did it with grace and a smile!

Total Wine has a great selection, discounts for buying in bulk, on-line ordering, curb-side pick-up, and home delivery. The staff is very helpful and professional. The only negative for me is they dont seem to carry any sparkling wines from the franciacorta region. (I mean, Italian bubbly isnt all prosecco ...)

If I could give them less than one star I would. The store manager Ryan racially profiled a friend of mine while he was shopping there. He took his entire cart away. I do not care how large their selection is, I will never spend money in this store again. Do not run a store in this community if you do not want to sell to the people who live in it. I am completely disgusted.

Excellent beer price so I che ked them out. Got a flyer in the newspaper. I had a bad experience in Klanchester so this is my first visit in a few years. No one was at the register but they saw me and sent a super friendly cashier and the checkout was smooth. I will definitely shop this store again.

Bright, open layout with huge selection, and select bargains. Tasting bar was open to try several wines. Staff I talked with (who was doing the tasting) was extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

One of the most impressive selections Ive seen. They have Johnny Walker Black along with hard to find lowland single malts. They also have a stocked walk in humidor with a variety of quality cigars in excellent shape.

I love Total wine and More I wish they had domestic beers that would be awesome but their selection of wines and alcohol and also mixers its superb and subpar to none their prices are great they really are some of the lowest allowed by law in the state I will highly recommend you going to this establishment for your adult beverage needs they also have things like for you cutters corkscrews etc etc shot glasses etc etc

Total wine has a great selection. They also frequently offer tastings that are a great sampling. The case special gives a good discount of many items (mix and match) after you get to 6 bottles. The prices are very competitive.

I have placed an order of Golden Pheasant and another beer on July 10, 2020 . I was told that someone would call me when my order gets in the fallowing week. No one called Thursday, Friday or Saturday. So, I called around 2 pm on Saturday, the 18th to find out that my order was never placed. Not one I am sorry. Elizabeth

Living in a state that doesnt have Total Wine and then stopping it to check one out was eye opening. This place has a lot of product. Staff was incredible knowledgeable about all of their offerings. They had an on-site glass etching person there that day so I was able to get a bottle etched for a friend of mine. Only disappointment was, while they have a fair amount of store picks, the more premium offerings for whiskey, bourbon and scotch whiskey was low.

National chain. This is the only place I go for beer, wine, spirits, and cigars. (Juice and soda mixers you can buy at a grocery store, but they also have a great selection of unique mixers like ginger beer). Simply put, they have the best prices, best selection, and most knowledgeable staff. People in the store care about and know about what they are selling. Each store is clean, well laid out, easy to navigate. On top of it all, they do both smaller free tastings and planned, themed, paid (Like $5) tastings (very well attended, buy tickets in advance). Every store across the country I have visited is as good as the next, across the board.

Great Pricing

It was our first time shopping here for wine and me, my brother and his friends just wanted to buy a couple wine to celebrate his visit back from the military. We asked the workers there for advice on which wine to get but they all gave us a mean look and seemed as if they were unenthusiastic and were uninterested in helping us. (Yes) We do look young but we all came prepared with our IDs to prove that we are by law above the age of 21. Without checking our IDs and assuming our age, one of the workers literally took us out to the door (might as well shoved us out) and said “there’s the exit” pointing towards it. It was the holidays and we had to drive nearly an hour there based on the “good” reviews but it was a very unpleasant experience. The workers embarrassed us in front of many other customers and being the only Asian customers we felt very very uncomfortable. If the worker addressed us and took us out the door in a more calmer manner we would have happily done so, but his demeanor ruined our day where all we wanted was to celebrate my brother’s visitation back from the army.
