I recently went to Year Round because I wanted to buy a chainsaw. The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and were able to help pick the right saw for my needs. Additionally, they made sure that it started and ran correctly, plus made sure that i understood everything about it. Lastly, they even registered the warranty on the spot. I will always come back to Year Round. They now have a life long customer!

I found their staff to be knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I had an edger repaired and dropped off a chainsaw and generator, too. Everyone at this store is friendly and professional. I highly recommend this location for your repair landscaping tool needs.

I love this place and have used their services for years. When I called to say my lawn mower needed service, they said it would be about 3-4 weeks. They asked me to keep and they had me on the list and would call me. They did (about 4 weeks later)and I got it in that afternoon and they had it done in 3 days. It looks brand new, everything done and is working well. I appreciate John and everyone there.

I stopped in for my first time to get a few washers and nuts for my Stihl trimmer, and they were very patient and helpful. As a general FYI, due to COVID there is very little power equipment available, so please dont take it out on these guys, no one stocks anything at the moment. They were fast, efficient and friendly and I really appreciate them taking the time to lookup the proper parts I needed. Thank you, Ill be back!

Great customer service and quality work on my riding lawn tractor. Had two bent blades and 3 belts which needed replacing and they performed the work AND cleaned my mower. They also picked it up and dropped it off at the home. Will definitely use them again.

I was most thankful & grateful for the excellent service with a damaged engine covered that was straightened, the recoil unit that was in stock & replaced along with a little tweaking to get all working correctly. This all was done while I waited.I could not ask for better service. TY Year Round for helping me out when in a real bind.Jeff Gould/Gould Asphalt Maintenance

Mark, John, and the whole staff have no clue how to treat customers and could care less about the customer service end of the business of repair. Especially whoever worked the counter and phones on the day of May 3rd 2014....Maybe I am just a home owner, and they only get to ring it up on me every 3 years or so, but getting back to customers on a request with parts list and cost before install is common sense. I asked 3 times for this in the 40 days, yes, 40 days my mower was waiting to be serviced. Loose details, vague answers, and worst of all never a phone call once to keep me up to speed on ANYTHING! Oh wait, they called once on day 1, to get my CC for a deposit on job, later to never be described....you could have done better guys...I do not reccomend anyone to YEAR ROUND. Two thumbs down.

Ive been a customer of YRP for over 6 years. Ive brought my old machines (Mower and Snow Blower) to them for yearly service and they always did an outstanding job keeping my aging equipment up and running. Mark and staff have always been open and honest with me about my machines, and when it came time to get new ones, there was no question on where I would be buying then from.Last fall I purchased a new Ariens Snowblower, and this past spring a new Husquavarna tractor. True, I could have gone to a big box store to make my purchases, but I could never have gotten the personalized customer service I always get from Mark and his team at YRP. They took into consideration the size of my yard and driveway and helped me make the best choice of machine for what I needed.I know that when I send my new machines in to YRP for their annual service, I will get the same personalized customer service and peace of mind that Ive always gotten from them.Customer service is something that is very important to me, as well as having an knowledgeable team to help me make the right choice of machines - and if youre looking for that - YRP is the place to go.

We have called YTPE to get our mower tuned up in early March. Asked how much it would be they said $159. We said ok, thank you, please schedule a pick up. They just kept calling us and saying, were here to pick up where are you? Finally, our schedules aligned and they caught us at home whenever it was convenient for them, with several other units on their trailer. There is a $75/delivery fee they never disclose up front. We asked to look at our mower and call us if the work/labor/parts exceed the original quote of $159. Mark, the delivery man, personally promised my husband that he will do that and no additional work (aside from tune up) will be done without prior authorization from us. Four weeks went by, in New England youre never in a hurry to get your mover when the snow barely melted on the ground. So, Mark calls us four weeks after the original pick up and says your unit is ready and the cost is $490.73. We were shocked. My husband reiterated the original request to call up front if anything needed to be done for prior authorization, tune up was supposed to be $159. Mark said, youre right, you did ask for that. Let me call you back. He called back saying, look, nothing was done that wasnt expected. Tune up is $159, you needed a new belt and two new blades and we had to charge you for a few other small parts and labor to install it. It is all part of the tune up, and of course there is disposal fee and tax added to the overall cost. If this was all part of the tune up, then why did they not charge us $159?Bottom line, Mark dropped off the unit on Friday and brought the bill, in writing, detailing all the work performed. We again discussed the issue we had with their approach to service and delivery. Mark listened for a while and never apologized or suggested a solution to remedy the situation to keep us, as customers, happy. For example, he could have said, Im sorry, youre right this is not how we should operate our business. Or, he could say, let me call my manager and see what we can do to keep you as customers and satisfied because we want you to come back. Or, he could say, I realize we didnt keep the end of our bargain, how about I offer you $100 off (or whatever) the invoice... would that work for you?None of that was said. Instead, Mark impatiently shoved the invoice into my hands and said, how about this: Im going to leave you your mower and were even. He went to the trailer, drove the mower down to our back yard and left. As Im sitting here today, Im certain the YRPE will mail us the bill and continue to bill us until we pay. These business practices are not uncommon in the power equipment services. We experienced the same several years ago with Butler Power Equipment, who said that until we pay the price (300% above the original quote) they will not let us have our mower back. This type of business practice pushes consumers in the corner and requires them to pay a fee that was not only unexpected but also could have been avoided. They need to have their estimates approved prior to working on equipment to make sure that the clients are ready to pay for the work performed.
