Hair done very nice and fast but too much coughing from workers and no mask wearing on the salon very uncomfortable being that its COVID going on in this world

Do NOT go here!! I have gone here for YEARS because they are quick. But, they NEVER do what you ask them to do. They will talk you out of what you ask for every single time. If you want something quick and you just want to put your hair in a protective style and don’t really care about much after that, go here. But, if you have specific style in mind, DON’T come here. They will NEVER do what you ask them to do. Your hair will NEVER come out like the picture you show them and they will ARGUE YOU DOWN! They will not change or adjust the price after they clearly did not do what they were supposed to do. Sally’s is QUICK, but that’s it. Do NOT GO HERE!! There is a spot in Bridgeport that will always do your hair EXACTLY the way you want, no questions asked!

The person who did my sew in had gaps and th3 tracks showing. Very unprofessional and I wasted my money because they cut the tracks and didnt offer to compensate me after they did a bad job

This place use to be my favorite place to go in ct not anymore they do your hair the way they want to not how you ask the heavy set lady did my braids small and I asked for medium braids also the length was so short I asked can they be longer when she was only at the back of my head she told me no it’s to late . Not only that but my car got hit at this place they had it on camera when the police show up they told them they forgot the password to the cameras that was Never again will they get a penny from me unprofessional I did not like my hair and I got my car hit at her shop and she couldn’t even get the footage of the video horrible place to go I will stick to New York City ..

Sally is extremely hands on with amazing technique. You give her a hairstyle idea & she takes it to the next level. Staff is very friendly . Wasnt entirely pleased with my recent service.

I showed them a picture on how i wanted my braids done i clearly told them “i want it exactly like that” and the braids was nothing close to how i wanted it. I didn’t like it at all. ✌🏾 oh and they made me wait ode long like cmon.

Horrrrible. They are not good at keeping appointments. I ended up being over an hour late for work because they made me wait when I called 7 hours earlier for an appointment. The the owner cussed me out because I let her know. VERY unprofessional and the braids didn’t even come out like I asked. I showed a specific picture and it was the complete opposite. Just a waste of money. This is the FOURTH time this happened and I had someone different every time! Don’t waste your time!

Horrible experience I went to get single medium sized braids and walked out with small braids. Within a 1 week to a 1 1/2 my braids were hanging down and was very loose. One of my side edge braids came out. My hair was showing through the braid and was extremely noticeable because I had a different hair color. I was told there is nothing they could do because it didnt happen with 1-3 days after my hair getting done. Sally stated because my hair is natural which had absolutely nothing to do with it because Ive been natural for over 2 years and have gotten single braids several times and never had this happen. I would never waste my money to go there again. I would never recommend anyone to this place.

This place can do nice braids but styling is limited and the service is bad. It is difficult to communicate with the braiders. The owner is friendly but no one knows how to work with natural hair. Id recommend for simpler styles but theres no focus on hair care. They violated my natural hair, and there is no customization for styling.Update: I went back 🙄 I requested that they not be too tight. Three of my box braids were not too tight. My head will be sore. They put one thousand braids in the front and five in the back. Sure, it’s convenient. These braids are so ugly it makes me want to fight. Hate myself for going back.

In less than a week my braids were falling out. The style was not done as I requested the braids were not the same size or design from one side to the other... the excess hairs from the braids were not trimmed... so after spending $120 for cornrows and big singles in the back I had to take my hair out! A waste of time and money.I went back to the shop and Sally insisted they would fix it... there was no fixing this as the braids just needed to be done better initially. Extremely disappointed especially since Ive supported his business for years!

Rude and unprofessional. Limited styles offered cause they dont know how to do certain styles. Staff seemed annoyed when I didnt agree to her outrageous price. She turned her back towards me several times while I was looking for prices on styles. Offered me basic box braids and was upset I didnt wanna pay for a style I did not want. Dont waste your time or money here cause they are very disrespectful.

Ive been going here since I was 7 years old I am now reaching my mid 20s the work these ladies do is inspiring I love Sally and my hair always comes out exactly how I want! Ppl tend to forget that they are responsible for telling their hair dresser exactly what they want done so it happens that way. Im glad sallys is still around!

I took my 8 year old to get her hair braided and they did a good job. They were also very patient with my kid as she got inpatient, and was tired of the pain of getting her hair braided towards the end. My kid ended up looking beautiful and happy.

My box braids were started at 1015am. I was walking out the door by 12pm. Fast service and the braids came out and nice.

Quality is not consistent. These 5 star posts may not be real. Very disappointed. Its useless to go back because I left town the next day. Beware. If you go pay attention to what they are doing and expect the style may not last long at all.

Sally is very disrespectful in my behalf, her staff are very unfocused in their work, they dont do styles the way customers want, their braiding comes out in less than a week. I came here for box braids (thumb size) and they did my hair in individuals and it costed 160$ and the braids werent in boxes. I know someone who does at home work and is better than them and for thumb size box braids she costs 85$ (thats an agreeable price) Sallys is overpriced, doesnt braid good, limited styles, false advertised, and horrible service.

Does not know how to do weave went to have weave with closure installed my hair was left thin I brought 3 packs of hair to be used she only use a pack and a half closure was not installed properly I had to have them remove the hair and they where very rude when I told them that it was not done well they are ok at braiding simple styles but cannot weave and are not up to date with new hairstyle they are also very unprofessional when it comes to keeping appointment times had my appointment at 3 was not seen til 4:30 with the person doing my hair stopping every second!!!!
