Brought my truck in to adjust the TPMS system. They couldnt get a read on the aftermarket sensors and referred me to another store. Upon arrival to that store, I noticed a huge gouge to the metal in my tire. I called Firestone back and asked if they hit something. They said no, but bring it back and they would take a look. They agreed they did the damage and are fixing it right away. Great service! Bruce took care of everything..

Very good experience here. My family and I had a vehicle emergency while traveling. Our brake caught fire to a small extent due to work done elsewhere. A mistake that could have been fatal. They were very helpful, they did quality work, they were transparent with all that they found and what they did, and they got us on our way expediently.

Called about having a tire patched, I asked if I needed an appointment or how long it would take. I was told he just had to raise it and patch it and that no appointment was necessary. When I got there I was told that they would have the car for most of the day. He said he was fully booked and didnt really have the time. When I said I called about having to make an appointment he said he didnt know who I talked to and was given a shoulder shrug.

Great guys, honest and obviously need to sell tires. I usually do my own repairs and havent had any other repairs done by them aside from wheel alignments and tire shopping.They are honest and straightforward no B.S around here. I recommend 👌

I’ve had nightmare experiences at other places including my own dealership, and this place re-instilled my hope. They are accommodating, fast, pleasant, and although they recommend additional repairs during each visit they are never pushy and always fair. Been going here for 3 years now and highly recommend. Busy place but slightly overpriced. Long wait. I made an appointment for 2pm but I was told I might be able to be seen earlier. I got there at 11am left at 230. They are thorough. They fixed my alignment and replaced 2 worn out tires for 325.00.

Costco was unable to mount my race tires with extremely stiff sidewalls. I brought them here and they not only were able to mount them but did so without any damage to my new (expensive) wheels. I will be bringing my next set of tires here next year for mounting.

Appears they attempted to charge 3xs the amount for repairs. Two other estimates were much lower.

I have taken our vehicles to Firestone in both Connecticut and Oklahoma and had good service at all. This store has a lot of good people and they have solved a lot of my car problems. That being said, a person that works there was so rude he wouldnt even get out of his chair in the garage to come out to the customer counter. Instead he shouted over a lot of noise through a little window trying to explain what was wrong with my truck. My odometer does not always display so it would not pass the emissions test. I asked them if they could go out to the truck and check it because it was now working, but thats not their procedure. I WONT COME BACK HERE AGAIN!

Fixed me up during a mini crisis (frozen brake front right) an hour away from home. Service manager and technician did a great job and had me out in 2.5 hours. Thanks guys!

I bought a new set of tire had them Aligned And balanced. When I left the tires had a bad wobble. I have taken it back twice for a balance. Each time they were off balance with only a few hundred miles in between visits. Its still not fixed. How can they balance them and when I bring it right back in they are not balanced. I dont think they are doing the balance right. So so far I have a brand new set of tires that makes my truck ride bad and wobble. Spent over a grand and it still messed up. And to top it off the service writer tried to blame it on me saying I must have hit a curb or something.

I Always have a great experience at Firestone in West Haven. I went in today for a right rear tire that was leaking slowly, within minutes of turning the keys over to a Joe McNary( manager on name tag)My car went onto the rack and I was ready to go in another 20 minutes with a new tire. Firestone warranties come in handy and there was no aggravation. Always a pleasure

I went for a second opinion about the alignment on my car, i got the alignment done at another place but they told me i needed my control arm nd press ball joint fixed...i went to Firestone b/c i was told i was getting played and need to go to professionals for an alignment... Firestone agreed with the other mechanics and said that i needed to get that part fixed...they didnt do an alignment because it made no sense to b/c it was just going to do the same thing...i really appreciated the honesty from them

Decent place for tires and auto care. The staff seem knowledgeable. I am not sure I would come here for any major repairs though. The lifetime alignment is a decent deal though.

I was faced with the unfortunate dilemma of purchasing new tires or repairing a tire. I either had to get a temporary fix, and put off spending a chunk, or bite the bullet and purchase the 4 new tires.Perry made the decision for me to make very easy. Not with haggling or words of fear about a tire blowing out. But by insuring me that the brands that Firestone have are a better quality tire than that of a lesser priced product from a box store.Not only was the decision easy, but the time it took to have my newly purchased tire installed was quicker than Ive experienced in the past. Whatever management is here at this West Haven branch surely has a great grip on meeting the needs of the customers and in a timely fashion.Definitely will return to this branch.

Sent my daughter in for tires and an oil change. Luis and Perry were conscious of the fact that she didnt have a lot of money to spend and gave her an excellent deal on 4 tires instead 2 and even inspected her alignment for FREE and told her she didnt need it as it was at spec!!! Never dealt with an actual honest shop that you dont have to worry about trying to oversell you something!! You guys are Awesome and I will send all my friends and family to you from now on!!! Fast, honest, and friendly service. Initially went to Wal-Mart tire service next door where there was only one cashier and 3 others chatting in the back and a 30 minute wait in line. Got out of the line and went next door to Firestone where I was immediately helped by Ramon who gave me honest recommendations on new tires. They even price matched me for the more expensive windshield wiper and gave me a discount for tire rotation. Gave me a courtesy call when my car was ready for pick up. Thank you!

The service here is always great. Ive been a customer of the West Haven Firestone for about three years now. Theyre knowledgeable and they perform the service quickly and well.

This Firestone is awesome! I showed up here 1 hour before they closed needing a rotor replaced, and Firestone got the job done in 45 minutes! They took the time to show me the damaged rotor and point out why it was unsafe compared to the other side. Maybe I paid a little more than I would have at one of the other big chains down the road, but these guys were very efficient and polite.

The Mechanics and Salesman were very proffesional . However I was going for a simple oil change .I ended up paying 154.21 .Then I left with a recommended bill of 1,829.09 . It is an old car but I know some of these prices are too high because I researched them . I live on a low income and now I am very depressed over all of this. I will have to look around for cheaper tires etc. when I get the money .I would go back but only for small repairs at this point.

The guys at Firestone - West Haven, are really nice. My battery died, I called them and they were able to give me a jump to get my car to their shop to be fixed.

I had a very bad experience at this location in West haven ct .I had them install new brake pads and new rotate with synthetic oil change well they did a horrible job at it the oil filter was not right enough so there was a oil leak,the brake pads were not the right fit for my car so there was a weird nose every time I hit the brake the rotate were cut too much so there were issues there when I called to complain No one from the head quarters called me instead they had the idiot manager of the location call me and offer two free oil change I took the car to the dealer ship and they corrected most of the mistakes I can suggest to go to the dealership for all care I 0aid these clowns $700 for all that and if I had taken to the dealership I had paid $780 small amount compared to dealer ship professionals rather that low life employees at the this location .

I had to wait nearly 3 hrs to fix a flat tire. To pull out the nail, plug the hole and put air in the tire Very Very Disappointed to say the least.

After seeing my car leave the lot, i waited for their test drive to be done before i left, plus i didnt know they test drove cars that needed brakes (the only reason i was there). When it took more than 10 minutes i told them to not test drive it after without me being there because they couldnt give me a valid reason as to why it took so long. I told them my wheel lock was in my glove, so dont ask me why they ransacked my trunk while i was there but its completely upside down, and it was organized before this incident. When i got the call to go get my car, i was expecting to sit in the passanger while they test drove it, but they had already test drove it when i specifically made it known that i wanted to be there. When i got back into my car after the longest 4 hours of my life there was 14 miles that had been put on it. 10/10 would not recommend this company to anyone. Every procedure they went through, they did incorrectly. I will personally never be returning.

Went in on 10/20/17, to get emissions done on my car. Was told that the DMV is closed today and tomorrow and nobody was doing emissions. I thought to myself that was weird because I had just come from a place earlier that would of did it for me but my car was too low. Left and went to the shell gas station on Boston post road orange by savers and they had me rolling in less than 5 mins. Advice, dont lie to your customers about what you cant due because its Friday and the employees want to hang out.

Despite the staff being friendly and professional, I will never go to this place again just to have my window regulator checked just to be charged almost $140! They literally did no work, didn’t fix anything, just checked my window for 1 hour.

Had a horrible experience with this company. The first time I went there, I needed 2 new tires which they replaced and also did a car inspection but failed to tell me I needed a new alternator, so while on the highway it died out on me almost causing me to get into a serious accident. The most recent time Ive been to this place I needed a tire patched due to a nail in the tire, a week later on the way to work the tire that was fixed came off the rim. I would. Not recommend this company to anybody, even my worst enemy.
