Way overpriced ($800 for a stone pot??)Selections are limited and just another place trying to be hip. Better asian cookware can be found anywhere else for much better price.

Wonderful, friendly store with amazing products

This store is absolutely a gem., making LA even more special than it already is. One of a kind selection that you cant even find in Japan. Absolutely gorgeous!

What a gem of a store! They offer a great selection of kitchen items that I’d use on any given day. The staff is incredibly kind and generous.

Super friendly and helpful folks that want to share their passion for Donabe cooking. I love coming here. So inspiring and makes me want to cook. They also sell a limited assortment of high quality ingredients. And I love that they give you a sheet of How To Use with most every item you buy. No need to translate or guess.

Amazing 😍 service and the products are displayed beautifully. I picked up extras, a rare Japanese Tamari. But they have many other little things.

Amazing selection of donabe and other Japanese kitchen and tableware, and excellent service from the staff and owner.

Beautiful store with gorgeous pottery, cookware and tableware. Plus, rare ingredients from Japan like smoked soy sauce, white tamari and sansho powder from a 135 year old sansho producer. Every item has a story here. Full disclaimer: I work here so I might be biased but its one of my favorite places in LA :)

A few years ago we bought a Donabe for rice, we went back to buy another. They are excellent! The store has many traditional Japanese kitchen products, all of good quality and design.
