Every time I go to this store, Im blown away by how kind every single person who works there is. They are generous, and the service is always amazing. I live near a closer Carvel than this one, but I will ALWAYS make the trip to W Islip to go to this specific store.

I would give this place negative 100 stars if i could. 2 months ago i ordered shakes for me and a colleague and we got food poisoning from the turned milk they use. We spoke to them and they tried to offer us gift cards in replacement for getting us sick. I spoke to Paul the owner and so tonight i decided to give them a second chance and this is what they delivered to me, see attached pic and inside one of the shakes is a plastic wrapper, as seen in another pic. Oh guess what they offered me a refund and more shakes again, like i want to be poisoned or to choke to death again. The never apologize, just try to fix by offering more like that is going to fix the fact that they poisoned you or they gave you foreign objects in your drinks. They have fake reviews most likely written by friends and family members. The first time the milk was sour we got food poison, the second time they send me this and put a plastic wrapper in it. Please be very careful when buying here, specially if you have kids. I am informing the board of health, the better business bureau and i am taking them to court, they have tried to kill me 2 times now.

Best carvel on Long island!

I was driving by the area and got a basic soft serve vanialla ice cream with sprinkles. It was excellent.

Best Carvel on Long Island. Whenever we are hungry for Carvel cake, root beer floats or flying saucers, we travel to west islip Carvel. The man who owns it is so nice and kind to our family for many years. His Carvel always tastes the best. 5 stars, best Carvel!!!

Carvel in w. Islip is the best 👌 place ever, they are never stingy. Sad to say but I dropped the bag 🎒 😪 nd lost all of my ice cream 🍦 🍨 😢 $33.00 later.

There are 4 carvels in my area, a cold stone creamery and a few baskin robbins and this is the only ice cream place we will go to is this Carvel. The service is second to none, no matter what time you go in there or who helps you. They are friendly, knowledgeable and are always helpful. It doesn’t matter if I’m passing another place that would be more convenient, this is where I go. We even came here on trophy day for soccer and took pictures because this is my son’s treat after each game. Need a special request they will accommodate you without an attitude, as if they were waiting for you all along. I might sound ice cream obsessed… but the team here is the best.

Its a cool ice cream place. Prices fluctuate when the heavy set asian man is there for some reason.
