I went to grab several plants for my new terrarium project and found quite a few succulents to pick from. Most of their selection was overwatered and you can tell all of them had been man handled. When I say overwatered, it looked like someone hosed them down and drowned them. They were dying.I was able to find a few semi healthy plants and brought them home. Sadly, when I got home to inspect them more thoroughly I discovered root rot in all of them and dozens of fungus flies flying out of the soil. Its been a couple of weeks and they are looking better but I honestly dont see them fully recovering. I bought a total of 11 plants in one day and half of them are struggling. They didnt have the fertilizer I needed (or I couldnt find it) and not a single worker in the area was available to help. I tried talking to two younger hispanic men hauling a pallet of boxes on their way out of the garden center but they ignored me and started laughing once they were a few feet away.If they had better employees, ones that actually know about plant care, they wouldnt have an issue and I wouldnt have purchased several dying plants. Walmart needs an expert in this center, not just another warm body.
They have a a great variety of seeds and starters for your garden.
