First and foremost, the slide I got from Live Free is incredible. I love everything about it. Secondly, and most importantly, the customer service I received was UNLIKE ANY OTHER. I received one of their slides as a Christmas gift, and it came with RMR cuts that did not fit my optic (this our own fault when ordering).I called, and not only did they take the time to educate me on how my cuts for the specific red dot I have were different, but they had me send back the slide with my optic and had a new slide cut just for me and mounted the optic for me to make sure it fit before they mailed it back!If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

I ordered an upper and lower kit more than a month ago. I contacted them every 1-2 weeks to stay up to date as they claimed they were updating their website. I was told multiple times it would be shipped in 1-2 weeks. I got a voicemail today stating they originally couldnt find my order. They further explained that my order was initially marked as fraud (although the payment went through to my cc). They were able to find my order/payment and wanted to know if wanted to cancel my order or proceed. I decided to cancel after they wouldnt give me a timeline of when it would ship, claiming it would be another several weeks. There is something shady about this business. Would avoid if possible.

Bought 2 rifles from them WITH 2 matching short uppers. The rifles have ran great for years with 0 issues. I paid around 2k for EVERYTHING.I came back because it was time to buy another set of rifles, only to find that the exact rifles I bought 3 years ago, are now almost 2k a piece, with no extra uppers.I loved live free and I told everyone how great these rifles have been. But as of now, I will no longer be buying from or suggesting live free to anyone.I went to you because you were a great brand and selling rifles for a reasonable price. Now youre just robbing people.

Bought a slide for a sig pistol as a blem, could not find any defects in the ceracoat, was delivered in two days, customer service was great, called a few times and got response right away and they where very patient and nice . The slide I purchased worked perfectly after selling a similar slide from another company that was full of malfunctioning issues, this one worked awsome and i could not be happier with the fit and finish . Although a small company They are first class and their work speaks for itself, I wish them success and longevity in the firearm manufacturing business, I will definitely look to them when I need something in the future. Ordered a matched set with it being in stock got the confirmation on order and the money withdrawn but that it several phone calls with no response on top of emails while trying to get more info on the order then it turns out everything was out of stock promise of product months from the order but take your money on the spot not a good deal

I bought an AR-10 from these guys a few months back and I must say that I am VERY impressed with the quality of the gun and its performance. They are absolutely outstanding to work with and great service. Every one I had talked to was more than helpful and friendly. I love my AR and would HIGHLY recommend these guys. Last time out I was getting a three inch group at 300 yards with out of the box ammo :-)

My wife got me a gun here. I went back in after to ask some questions and to buy some additional components. They dont sell additional components and they guy was a little rude and couldnt get me out of the store fast enough. I was thinking of getting her a matching one but Ill just get it somewhere else. Youll need some work on your customer service people skills.

I have had a couple of ar pistols built by live free and they run as well as my Wilson combats, easy to work with fair and honest I highly recommend them for a great product in a highly competitive market!

Bought a 556 carbine from them and was expecting good quality given the price theyre asking but instead I got a really well made rifle. The staff was very friendly and even gave me a t-shirt! Definitely worth the 5 hour drive.

These guys are friendly and well versed in the ar platform. When it comes to their product it is second to none. I have the pleasure of owning a couple of their rifles and all I can say is if you think a name brand at a higher price is gonna get you more you are very mislead. I have put mine up against rifles at almost 3 times the cost of mine and kept or beat the grouping of the so called best builder company rifles. Customer service, knowledge, quality products at a respectable price and just straight up people to deal with are all found here. As a final thought...... I will be purchasing more from them very soon!

Absolutely fantastic customer service. My order was handled with a very personal touch and the communication was great throughout the process. Their team really takes the time to ensure quality - they were not pleased with how the first application of cerakote turned out so they completely re-painted and overnighted the order to me so I would still get it on time. Absolute worst customer service I’ve ever encountered. Ordered the firearm three weeks ago and got the run around for two weeks then finally received it in the mail at my FFL dealer. Once holding the firearm it felt delicate and fragile. Areas all over the weapon were over sprayed and the upper and lower were literally eating each other at the points of contact. Upper had a chip in it where the upper and lower make contact as well. Even though the return policy states you “may have to be charged a 20% restocking fee I didn’t even chamber a round let alone shoot the thing even though I was told I’d receive a full refund in the beginning of the conversation. My FFL dealer and the entire staff were extremely disappointed with the manner the situation is being handled. As much as I’d like to leave a positive great review explaining my experience and the workmanship of this company I was thoroughly disappointed.Update: Spoke with my FFL dealer an extremely reputable shop and range in San Antonio only to be informed after the fact we spoke with the gentleman at the shop on speaker phone I’d get a full refund that I would be subject to this 20% restocking fee even though the rifle wasn’t transferred into my name, shot, nor left the building. I hope from a business stand point the future customers wanting to return a rifle aren’t subject to this disrespect. Hopefully the owner will see this and want to contact me directly to inquire about my personal experience regarding this matter.
