Excellent customer service, superb, nice, kind, and extremely helpful employees, especially Amber, and Ally who are extremely friendly, and very professional. This location organization, and cleanliness will shock you, and you won’t stop coming here to shop. The high quality food, and groceries with low prices will make you shop at this location successively. The employees here will try their best to help you, and even carry your groceries to your car. I had an excellent experience with them, and they made me feel like a valued customer. If you call them, then they will pick up the phone quickly, and won’t put you on holds for hours. They treat all customers equally, and respectfully, and that is the best point about these employees. Excellent grocery store! The West Sacramento branch team are super friendly and keep a highly sanitized store. You could almost eat off of the floor. Nugget has always been the highest quality grocery store we have. The prices used to be extremely high but I have noticed so many sales now a days to make prices affordable for everyone to live and eat healthy. This store is not as gigantic as some but it’s perfect for the amount of shoppers that go there.

First time guest at a Nugget market. This place definitely gives Whole Foods markets a run for their money. The staff are very friendly, smile and will ask how you are. Everything looks clean & crisp. Deli department is amazing. I think I like Nugget better than Whole Foods. Highly recommend.

The Nugget abuses it’s employees to the greatest extent. Their stores are ran by courtesy clerks yet they abuse them. They are NOT paid Sunday pay like the rest of the staff it’s disgusting. I hope they are in a union and I hope your whole store suffers. BUYER BEWARE unless you enjoy supporting companies who break labor laws.

Great store! Everyone here is friendly, kind and helpful. The salad bar is awesome and Im so glad its back! However, I would advise AGAINST going to the Coffee Bar while JACKIE the manager is there. She trains the barristas to make milky, watery drinks and takes every opportunity to upcharge for every little thing. She will get in a barrisas face to make sure they are charging extra. She gives terrible recommendations to fix botched drinks as well. At first I thought I was just being crazy, but every single other person I have gotten a drink from here is MUCH, MUCH better. Just go after 11 or so to avoid a Karen as the Manager experience at the coffee bar. They also got persimmons, ponces and other celestially autumnal produce at just the right time in the season. Its definitely fresh, seasonal heaven and pretty easy parking.

Horrible experience. The manager named Karen In a white shirt and black pants stated she would rather my dog die in the heat of the sun in my car then allow a service dog inside. Never shopping here ever again and you shouldn’t either. Go to Sprouts it’s better.

Walked in. Last hour or so for the night. Went to the sea food/ meat department. Ask the person there is they sold Soft Shell Crab 🦀. Person told me crab was out of season. Was not going to argue with someone who doesnt know their job. If they told me I dont know or I havent seen it I would have taken that for a better answer and not write a bad review.

I am a regular customer of the Nugget for a few reasons, the employees are always super cool and I get fresh squeezed green juice here. Ive made it at home before, but the process of cleaning all the produce, cutting it up and then having to clean the juicer after takes a lot of time. Its nice to just be able to go in place my order and get a fresh green juice in three minutes.

We ordered a turducken five years in a row! Superb quality and service. This year, there was a mix up and the manager in the meat department made one fresh for us while we waited! We are so thankful. You’re our favorite store to shop for holiday treats.

Food was delicious, but the service and other consumers made me feel like I was in a racial atmosphere. I will not be going back to this location, possibly others as well.

I love Nugget Market and pretty much recommend everything in the store. The one thing I do not recommend are the grilled artichokes from the deli counter. Cooked far too long and were inedible. But their Mexi-corn is divine.

Love this store most of the time. If they dont have something you want they order it for you. For instance came back from Hawaii wanting coconut syrup. I had a picture of what brand and they started stocking it. Same with Bobs Red Mill 12 grain hot ceral. I could go on. They did me a huge favor and took my favorite ice cream that I was addicted to off the shelves. They would order for me but always ran out! So I lost 15lbs months of not eating eat every night of my life. They always bag my groceries and offer me help out to my car. I always give them the choice. They always choose to help! Expensive items too over priced for some things just got watch the sales and most of the time Fri n Sat is a pretty great deal called secret special which have to have it emailed to you. And show it at check out to get the great deal or you pay full price. I check every week what they are having and go early as possible on Fridays or else they sell out!

There is nothing I cant find here and the quality is superb. The place is so clean and well kept too. All staff have always been so helpful and go out of their way to assist.

They have type 00 flour!! Plus the store was absolutely spotless! A little pricey but for having the rare flour in stock I highly recommend this place. They probably have other hard to find items too. I will def be coming back here to scope out everything. Thanks Nugget!

This is the closest supermarket and is a bit high end. Still it is a really great place to shop. The staff is well trained, friendly and helpful. My bunny loves their produce. Convenient parking and always well stocked. A really quality large market.

Id actually give this place 4.5 Stars. Mostly because the 15 items or less sign is a bit confusing. Im not the only one who thinks so either as Ive witnessed other people get a bit upset about a cart full of items, in front of them, in what they thought was the 15 items or less line. I would have given 5 Stars but I doubt they look at those ratings. Would love to see them clear that up for the newbies to the store. Otherwise, its a fantastic store.

Clean, well stocked and friendly, helpful staff. What more could you ask for? How about fresh baked pasteries, cake and bread. They even have a designated espresso and juicing bar. The prepared food section is pricey but delicious.

Nugget markets is an exceptional grocery store. I consider myself very lucky having this store just down the street from my home. There is no other local grocery store that compares to the quality of food they sell and the level customer service they give. It is always warm, inviting, and enjoyable to shop there. They have a high standard for customer service and the quality of products that they sell, and it shows.

Went in to get a bottle of wine and had a nice discussion with the Adult Beverage Manager. He was able to give some great suggestions based on my current likes and dislikes. Very pleasant and knowledgeable.

I absolutely love this grocery store! The selection of goods is phenomenal! Sure, maybe things are a smidge more expensive than an average grocery store, but the ample parking, the ability to always find what Im looking for, the superb customer service, and the fantastic deli food make it all worth it.

I love nuggets, love organic baby products and essential oils. One thing I would like the manager to look into is their potatoes, they have potatoe bags for like $5 a bag and it has a horrible chemical smell and the potatoes always have black spots. I stop buying the potatoes from here but I buy almost everything else here.

Cleanest store by far around here. The prices are on the high side, compared to other stores around here, but worth it for the shopping experience.

Good store but pricy

They have a great salad bar, with many options of toppings and I personally like there fruit smoothies as well. If you never had there smoothies before, my personal favorite is the Blueberry Bonaza. If youre on a path to physical fitness or just want to improve your overall health, the Nugget has what you need! I love the people here and the store is always well kept.

This is a good place if you dont mind spending a little extra on your groceries. The food they make is actually pretty good and there is rarely a long wait in line. Good place if you want to get in and out quickly.

Nugget is my go to market and when I get my next home I will make sure that there is a Nugget Markets within walking distance. I go in most mornings for breakfast and a fruit bowl. There are a lot of smiling faces there and everyone is always happy to help.

I always love going to the Nugget :-) end up spending a little too much money that they have excellent fish and produce as well as a wonderful selection of vegan and vegetarian foods plus a great deli and bakery. Their nice wine & cheese selection make it difficult to walk past without buying SOMETHING. Customer service is always excellent :-)

The best grocery store ever! Every department is full of super knowledgeable, very friendly staff. They are willing to take the extra time to make sure each customer has received the best service they can and make sure no one leaves unhappy. The butchers in the meat department on top of their game and will accommodate any special requests you may have. Very good quality meat and a good selection of seafood as well. The deli counter has awesome fresh food if you don’t feel like cooking and it has a small dining cafe area. Huge alcohol section with plenty of locally made wines and beers. I don’t like shopping at all but Nugget makes its enjoyable for sure!

Great Service and decorum. Prices are reasonable. I hate that they always have to ask me what Im doing this weekend or if Im having a BBQ or guests over or whatever. Friendly good service doesnt require that level of familiarity. But then again my wife loves it so I can put up with it.

I love coming here! Convenient for where I live, decent prices, lots of great bakery items and hot items. I particularly love the many varieties of cake and the wing, pot stickers and spring rolls at the hot food bar. They have a lot of specialty items. The workers are always nice, too.

Wonderful market even though the prices are more than most markets. I am rating the pasta salad, not the market. Read on. Good deli items with the exception of the Bowtie Salmon Pasta w/ Asparagus. It was horrible. Dry as a bone with really dried out noodles and no salmon to speak of. When I brought it home I had to add mushroom garlic olive oil from High Hand in Loomis, CA. You better rethink this recipe especially given the price you sell it for.

Everything is bigger than you think it they have freshly cut meats that are assorted handmade sandwiches from fresh ingredients a full Cafe a breakfast and salad bar a bakery and a place where you can get fresh seafood ingredients but because everything is so high quality the price is a bit more expensive than you think it will be so make sure to read those price tags

Started using Nugget Market in Davis (late 80’s). Was glad to find the West Sacramento Nugget Market. They do everything well, food service, pastries, market foods, services, how they market, enjoy the entries, employees are wonderful, most parking is covered by trees and ample space. I love the Nugget Market. I like all the options they have for your everyday needs and the specialty items too. Im a frequent flyer for their made to order healthy drinks. We always get the Oz drink. You can add to or substitute any of the ingredients. Your go to for healthy and non healthy options.

It is hard for a large business with changing and rotating staff in its eatery to deliver a consistent product and quality service. Nuggets comes close.The food offering is usually very good and fairly consistent in its preparation and taste; so too is the staff working in this area.The one significant and regular shortfall is the apparent propensity of staff to talk and socialize with one another when customers are waiting - it seems to be a cultural trait which Ive found throughout the area. It is a lack of urgency in customer service one invariably finds at government counters.

This stores variety and choice of products has gone downhill since it first opened. Many items they do not carry at all any more. They also have a hard time keeping the products they do have stocked on the shelves. I have taken to shopping at other markets even though I live within walking distance of this Nugget. Whomever is in charge of this Nugget is not measuring up.
