Amazing selection and even better customer service. Love this place!!

This is typically our go to liquor. We prefer the locally owned smaller stores. The staff always greets me with a smile and are very knowledgeable.

I don’t drink that much so I don’t go to a liquor store often. However, I have always given my business to Southgate Liquors. Today when I went in, the cashier did not even acknowledge me because she kept chatting with her friend who was yelling from the opposite end of the store. She didn’t thank me for my purchase but at 7 PM at night just said “have a good day” while she was maintaining eye contact with her friend the whole time.I work very long hours, and no matter how I’m feeling, I always warmly acknowledge each person with whom I am working. That’s not even good customer service, that’s just being a decent human being. I don’t think I’m going to be going back to the store

Small mom and pop liquor store that treats the customer well. Nice selection and good customer service. I enjoy this store as opposed to the large stores with clubs to join and such.

Ive been in there twice in the last month, and both times two different people waited on us. They were both unfriendly. When asked for a product, they made us feel like we were bothering them. Not friendly at register either. The first time I didnt mention it to my friend. The second time I did. And, they agreed and said you know I thought the same thing last time we were in here I said if I ever get the chance to complain, I would.

The staff is very helpful. The store has a much smaller selection than the big stores, but they carry the basics.

Ive been a customer for decades for a few reasons: its in a well lit, secure plaza location with plenty of parking - the staff has always been helpful and pleasant - the store has a good mix of wines and liquors in a variety of price levels and they have some surprisingly good wines in the mid-price category in their bins. Id pop for a fifth star if the sake and sherries selection could up their game a bit.
