I usually like going there. On this trip, Joann did not have what I was looking for. The items are only sold on line ie yarn winder. I think that is ridiculous since everyone doesnt like to order from online. That item should be in the store.

I was looking for a good fabric store because Ive regenerated my love for sewing now that I am not working. Joannes has a nice selection of fabrics, yarn and other craft supplies. I spent about 3 hrs browsing fabric and, notions and patterns. I thought they would have cheaper prices but I was able to get a few pieces to work with. Ill go back when Im ready to make that trip.

I love going to JOANNS Fabrics and craft they always have such great varieties. Customer Service was great very pleasant.

Stephanie, Stephanie, Stephanie, Stephanie! Is the person to ask for when you need help. Pictures and travel samples can help find what you need much faster then guessing. This place is an interior decorators dream. You can find a great selection of fabrics or niche accessories all over the store. Granted, I’m no tailor. I tagged along for the ride and cane across this surprise. I didn’t know that people are still creating things from scratch. I grab a few item for my family members who still dabble with sewing. Stop by and take a look around the store. I’m sure it’s gonna get some of those creative juices flowing.

Nice store. They have variety of fabrics. Swing items. And lots of craft materials.To use a cart in store you have to use a quarter, which you will get back when you return the cart.Big store with lot of Art and craft materials.

The store is centrally located and full of traditional crafting items. I came to pick out sewing patterns, however the patterns were not available for purchase. Service was friendly.

Theres always something for a project when taking a minds eye snapshot of things in the store.

Mainly go there for fabric only, the rest of their stuff is overpriced, no air conditioner and they charge you 25 cents just to use their cart😂. I end up only going there fabric alone which has a nice selection and carrying the bolts myself. Everything else is overpriced, use coupons.

Needed a piece of foam, while on line I joined their club they posted that I would get a 25% additional discount but when I got to the cashier she told me that I couldnt use the discount because its a sale item, but it says on the 25% that I could but she insisted and I settled for the $5 discount. Train your employees a little better in your rules and how to read a coupon, I think your customers will be happier

Few workers, some of them dont know where things are. Some on a bad mood. Lack of organization. Not as complete as other JoAnn stores. I will avoid this one.

The check out gal was wonderful. I asked her if she was Joann...she chuckled. Even the teen boy who was restocking inventory was super helpful too. But I had to get out of there otherwise I would spend more than I wanted.

Large selection of fabrics at this location. The fabric cutter was very friendly as well. However, this is a small location so they do not have the extensive supplies you would find at a larger Joann store. A lot of yarn was out of stock as well, but that might be due to shipping orders or pickups. Definitely worth a visit for fabrics.

Id like to give a big shout out and thank you to Cassandra at the joanns in Westbury, NY.I had picked up a shift there today to get more hours even though the store is an hour away from where I liveI stored my coat and purse with my keys in my jacket in the officeCome the end of the shift and my keys are nowhere to be found. After doing some extensive searching through my personal items and common areas, I called AAA to let me in my car thinking I had lefty keys in the carI hadnt found them. After initially throwing my car apart I called the store and told her the situation.I was stuck out in the car in the damp cold rainy weather for the next 2 hours because it was difficult to get someone to get me or bring an extra spare as I live an hour away. I couldnt leave my car as it locks after 5 minutes of being unlocked if not being used, which would have meant me calling AAA again2 hours later she came back out, keys in hand. Said shed must have searched the office half a dozen times before the keys popped up. She noticed I was still in the parking lot and went above and beyond to help. I blight her dinner as a thank you. She was amazing

Very unprofessional. Don’t get me wrong, they’re nice but did not help me at all. Went in to get an item that the website said there were 3 in stock. I get there and I’m told they’re on hold for other customers. Of course I’m not pleased because I’m here ready to pay for it now. They said they will order me one, I wait for a while as they try to figure it out but they just couldn’t.... I drove all the way there for nothing.

Got everything I need at a reasonable price. The cashier gave me slight discount. Presently surprise and thankful.

I love Joanns, but they need more staffing. The lines are way too long to cut fabric and to check out at the registers when you check out. This makes the standing around wait time ridiculous.

I wanted to purchase wool but it dont have variety in colors. Cant found mix n match colors in one type of wool in same brand.

Visited Sat evening. Nice store . More organization of merchandise would be nice, IE proper location on racks, pricing . Staff is very friendly but that seems to backfire at checkout. When I arrived most of the customers in store where on line . I looked for the items I needed, browsed a bit and returned to the front .THE SAME TWO CUSTOMERS WHERE AT REGISTERS AFTER 15-20 MINS .I left store and returned later to make my purchase.NEED MORE CAHIERS AND LESS TIME SPENT WITH INDIVIDUAL CUSTOMERS .

I love Joanns and have been to ones across New England for my sewing needs. This one is a decent sized store with a lot of fabric choices. The aisles are a little more cramped than someother locations but that just means more fabric! They have three large sections of remnants (a yard or less of left over fabric greatly discounted) that everyone should check out for great deals

Didnt find what I needed, stuff to make a mosaic stepping stone. Although they did have some other craft stuff, more than a good portion is fabric. If you are looking for fabrics this is a good place to look.

Manager is very rude to his staff. Amy (sales associate) was trying to help me with a question and the manager tells her Amy, common please get back to what you were doing. He mumble under his breathe, you should recycle them. They were about to close the store in 9 minutes. Amy is very helpful, sweet, and does her job with a smile. She was going above and beyond. She should get paid more money and she should be the manager. The customer comes first. It took the interest to shop in there.

I’m really disappointed with my experience at JoAnns. I was excited to order from here since the reviews seemed so great. I placed an online order for curbside pickup, and I got an email two days later that my order was ready for pickup but one of my items got cancelled. I emailed JoAnns to see if they could replace my item for a very similar one (I knew they had many in stock of this new item). I do not live close by so I didn’t want to place a separate order and have to drive out to Long Island twice. Still, no one has gotten back to me by email and it’s been three days. I asked the girl at the store who brought me my order to my car if she could simply add the other item to my order right now and bring it out to me, and add the charge to my order. She said it wasn’t possible and I would have to order it online and come back to pick it up. I had to drive 45 minutes to get there so it’s very inconvenient for me to go there twice. Not satisfied at all. I am going to have to order from somewhere else.

Joann is like Narnia for crafters who tend to over spend. Like me. 😂 The section with the sewing classes and repair is a different business and the lady there is absolutely wonderful. Remember your coupons and plan accordingly. You could easily breeze past 2 hours shopping there and think only half an hour has passed.

Completely unethical. All the process are hiked and sales are now non existent. I have been buying fabric every other month at least 400 dollars worth and thats WITH the 40 to 50 percent discount. It is disgusting that of all times they wait until now to take advantage of their customers. I drove 30 minutes for this bullcrap. So tired of this poorly run store.

Great selection for all your sewing needs

The store was busy but the staff did their best to keep up. However Im giving 4/5 because I think the store needs more members, just because they were able to keep up doesnt mean they should have to rush around as much as they were. Its unfortunate that short staffing is a norm now.

Agh... Where do I even begin. I had this idea for a sewing project and decided to get four yards of fabric, one zipper, and one spool of thread. I thought this would be simple but it is really freaking frustrating. I ordered the supplies online on 5/20. It was 5/25 when I called the fabric store when I didnt get any updates. The phone line ran out and nobody picked up until the third time I called (at a later time). Then, someone told me that I only had to wait another day and it would be ready. That was fine with me. Then, the next day, I got an email that said my order was cancelled. According to the app, everything I ordered was still in stock. I called Joann to see what was the issue again. Once again, nobody picked up for a long period of time. Then, they said that any order that was placed before May 21st was cancelled. I didnt ask why because the woman on the phone said that it would be fine if I re-ordered it.So, then I reordered the exact same supplies this past weekend. Then, I got an email that said my order was cancelled AGAIN. The second time! I was really frustrated and called again. ONCE AGAIN, the phone rang to nothing several times. I then was connected to Ashley who was actually very very sweet and told me that although the order was cancelled, she felt bad and would have the order ready for me this morning (5/28). She said that the system is really bad and this happens. She was very nice to me, but this wasnt actually the case. I just went to Joann to pick up the fabric that had been promised to me and I spoke to a man who said that it wasnt ready since the order cancelled. He told me to order it AGAIN. This was 20 minutes ago. Honestly, I am so stupid for ordering it again but I just want this fabric. The app gives good coupons so I want to do business with Joann as opposed to going online with a site like Fabric.comIm just kind of frustrated and annoyed. I pride myself on my patience but I look like such an idiot for going through with this order so many times. All I want is fabric to make things with during quarantine. Social distancing has had a really negative impact on my mental health and this would have helped me. Im at a loss here, I will literally go in the store and get everything for myself. If only I was able to do that. Sorry this went on for so long, but it is genuinely stressful to me that I cant get the fabric that I want and that it is taking so long and is such a frustrating process. I just cant find a win with this store.

Every time I go to this store, the women take so long to cut the fabric. I worked at a fabric store and it does not take that long to cut fabric. Then there is no sign large enough to say take a number. Then you take a number and then the next staff doesnt even follow the system. Ive seen people put fabric back because these people who are cutting it takes way to long. I go across the street to the fabric store near unique. Much quicker.
