The help is awesome!! The quality is great but the quantity is so so !!!! The prices seem higher at some stores than others!! I have to say a lot of people that’s have visited from out of town felt uncomfortable as if they were treated differently but I still shop here will continue to shop here but maybe they should treat EVERYBODY the SAME!!!!! I’m taking about Narragansett Stop and Shop🤦🏼‍♀️westerly stop and shop is definitely the safest one to shop .. my take anyway!!!

Stop & Shop has a great variety for all your needs, and good sales. This particular store is clean, organized, and has a friendly, helpful staff. They know how to assist customers during busy times, with professionalism, courtesy, and respect. This is a great store to shop!

I bought cold cuts this morning and Mikel put my order together. He held up a slice of ham and asked if it was thin enough. I spotted something on it, looked like a pepper from the last order. I brought it to his attention and he tossed it! Nice person!However the woman working with him ( I think the first letter in her name was a V)burst in to let me know that they slice many kinds of cold cuts on that machine, not just ham! So should I accept the fact that my cold cuts clean the slicer and that’s my lunch? Rude

Always my go to for groceries. Absolutely love the strawberry shortcake cake. Staff is always very friendly and store is super clean.

I have been using curbside delivery during the pandemic. Laura has been amazing! She is a sweetheart and chooses good substitutes if something I ordered is out of stock.

Well stocked but the arrows border ridiculous. Every 3 feet is an arrow, and has made walking through the store almost impossible without crossing them. Needs better setup

Great selection and prices. I go out of the way to come to this Stop and Shop instead of two other that are closer/directly off the highway. And I will come here before Walmart and other specialty stores or dollar stores in the surrounding areas.

Never fails in here that there are 3 or 4 employees leaning on one of the self check out machines while 3 of them are blinking, theres a line to produce and it must now be forbid by their union for any employee to lift a finger to help bag. I should be grateful, at least theyre holding the registers from falling over.

Not following social distancing at this location. Crowded store do to not enough registers open and too many people in store.

Ive been grocery shopping at Stop & Shop in New England for as long as I can remember. Ive probably eaten more food from their grocery stores than anywhere else in my entire life. It was a trusted name in my family for decades, but something seems to have changed over the past few years. Now we all avoid shopping at any Stop & Shop where possible. Given the limited number of stores in the area, thats not always possible and given they distribute some brands other grocery stores do not, I inevitably visit once or twice a month.Generally speaking, the store prices are higher than nearby grocery stores for the same packaged products. Sometimes an item is priced more expensively than at the CVS in the same parking lot or the nearby convenience stores. Its not clear to me what the extra cost goes to as shopping at this location is neither convenient or in some way a valuable experience.The store is a mess. Things have deteriorated beyond my comfort zone during the pandemic. Between store employees not enforcing store rules about masks or social distancing to store employees themselves breaking the stated rules, the store has the feeling of chaos. All aisles are clearly marked as one way, but store employees frequently can be found walking the opposite direction with a pallet that takes up almost the whole aisle. Store employees can be seen with their masks off or around their chin on every visit. This has lead to a significant population of customers following their lead. More so than at any other store Ive been to since the start of the pandemic.Stock of essential items has been problematic at all stores in the area, but none quite like this one. Paper goods have been available at all the competitors for weeks. Somehow this location is still having trouble.Quality of produce at this location is poor, even by the low standards I have already come to expect from Stop and Shop. This has been going on for years, so its not a reflection of supply chain interruptions.Its not all bad. The deli here is phenomenal. They have the most complete line of Boars Head products Ive seen outside of Sandys. When Im in the store I stock up on deli items.In the end, if you can go to McQuades or Belmont Market or even Aldi, I believe you will have a better experience.

This is the 3rd time Ive tried to order low fat bran muffins from the bakery and have been told that they are discontinued and that you cant get them anymore. Then I try another Stop n Shop in a different location and they have them and are unaware of any discontinued muffins. Then a couple weeks later you carry them again. Being told you are out is fine. Being lied to that they are discontinued is not okay.

I was visiting Westerly for the weekend and Stop & Shop was by far the best choice in the area. It had everything we needed and wasnt too crowded at any of the multiple times I had to stop in. I was very impressed when I saw that this particular location had a great selection of locally produced products.

Went there close to closing. Good selection but prices are still very steep.

Good meat and seafood departments. Also a decent selection of organic foods. Deli is also good, with friendly staff. Unfortunately, though, the store is pricey overall. So if youre looking to buy groceries and save money, this isnt the place to go.

Even though a major super market has limited variety of some types of items and brands. Staff is not overly helpful. Might have to drive 20 minutes but other Stop and Shops have much better selection and friendlier staff.

Produce prices high. I dont normally shop at Stop & Shop. All avocados were ripe but in general its neat and aisles are well marked. Customer service and other staff were extremely helpful. Five stars for employees. Two stars for prices.

Very well stocked full sized supermarket. Large produce section, on-site bakery, healthy items, large drug store section, large seasonal section. Good variety, well organized and marked, easy to get around, brightly lit, many checkout lanes, plenty of parking.

I walked in and the store was filling the fruit bins with new produce, they had a sale on strawberries,buy. 1 get 2 free ! But what I like about this Stop and Shop is that its always clean, and there are actual cashiers., I dont have to check out myself unless I want to !

This store I find is never over crowded whether Im there to pick up a few items or Im doing a full shopping. Isles are laid out from fresh fruits & deli area and ending in the dairy section to checkout.

Excellent choice of groceries. Weekly deals to help reduce household costs. Reasonably priced store-brand organic products. Some branded products may be a little bit expensive, however.

They got groceries.... Yay.Its a typical Stoppie. Very clean, decent selection and everything seemed fresh. Only went there as s quick stock up stop while on vacation but it seemed fine.

Plenty of essentials to fill your pantry and refrigerator, but I wish their international section had more variety.

Typical S&S. Large store, many brands of each item. Parking & checkout are easy except during summer tourist season. Prices can be high compared to Aldi & Walmart.

Pretty good but they messed up my sweet tea one night late at night. Other than that always satisfied.

Open late, great for travelers who need groceries for their long week of vacationing. Close to everything. Big, lots varieties. Some home made meals. Prices average.

Customer service representative was friendly and helpful, ditto the cashier. Produce was good. Gluten free choices leave something to be desired.

Just moved to town and luckily moved into a neighborhood with stop & shop nearby. As a mom of three the grocery store tends to be a frequent stop on the errands list. The selection, prices and variety this store offers is comparable if not better than our usual place back in GA. The people the work there are incredible and helpful, patient and kind. I was stoked. The kids are stoked. Everyones eating happily. Which works for me!

A clean store and friendly atmosphere definitely better than Narragansett sister store.

Rude people. Good prices, not helpful and they dont know where anything is. Disappointing home town store. But unless you want to spend a lot more money elsewhere in Westerly, it is a good choice. McQuades has much better food, but at a higher price. And they are polite. Stop and Shop takes your business for granted. Not elderly friendly either. But good deals keep us going.

Wide variety of name brand and off brand products. Usually of equal quality level. A good place to do some semi-quick shopping.
