I have never in my life felt compelled to publicly address a business I’ve had a negative experience with until today. The customer service for this oil business is absolutely appalling. The person I communicated with was extremely rude, unprofessional, childish and just outright nasty. There are so many options out there. There is no reason for anyone to ever deal with an employee taking their bad day out on you after spending almost 400$ on their business. No one deserves to be spoken to in a rude disgusting manner for simply asking a question that may have been apparent to the employee but not to a person who has never interacted with this particular business before. Go somewhere else! there’s nothing about this place that makes it worth going to. Their prices are standard not any cheaper than anywhere else I checked since I cancelled my order this morning.

Easy to order online, you can even tell them how low your tank is. Great customer service, extremely nice, even available to come out on the weekend. Highly recommend. I used once because they helped me in an emergency and havent left.

Like the other bad reviews from this company that are below, their customer service is extremely poor. Bottom line is you get what you pay for. You may see their prices are low, which is great, but the second you have an issue (which you will), they will not make it right.Had an awful experience using their website and paid for 3/4 tank fill up and they delivered much less than what I paid for, as my tank was only filled up to 1/2. When I called to discuss the issue, they basically told me that theres nothing they could do about it since the fuel was already delivered and the transaction was completed. I have been a customer for over 5 years and this is how the situation was handled.

Do not purchase from this oil company. It sounds nice and easy to order fuel on line, BUT they do not allow you to put the amount of oil that you need in the order form, it calculates it for you...in other words I OVERPAID for fuel on line! The owner who I spoke to would only credit back the over payment to me if I pay a $25 fee? This is not good business. I would not order fuel from these people. The $25 Fee is NOT disclosed anywhere. Buyer Beware. The employee I spoke to while ordering the fuel tried several times to get me to order 225 gallons when I needed only 187 as per my calculations. CHECK YOUR OIL TANK AND CALCULATE IT YOURSELF BEFORE YOU PURCHASE OIL. 275 GALLON TANK CAN ONLY TAKE 250 GALLONS. LOOK AT THE GAUGE otherwise be prepared to be ripped off! I am writing into the Attorney General.

I called this morning about having run dry of heating oil at my home. Shortly after noon Rob of Miner Fuel arrived at my home to fill my home heating oil tank and prime my dry supply system.Understandably there was a fee for both the immediate need for an oil delivery aswell as priming the dried system.I respect Rob and Miner Fuel for thier respect of my needs and and thier customer commitment.Jim Herrera

I refuse to go anywhere else for my oil needs. They consistently have the best prices, but their service is what has won me over time and time again. My mom ran out of oil (broken) guage and they went out of their way, off of their route to make sure she got her delivery. They often text or email when oil prices go down so you can take advantage of lower prices. They offer great personal service. It is hard to get this type of service in any industry. I cant help but recommend them anytime someone asks where they should go for their heating oil.

This is one of my very favorite companies to deal with. The owners possess Southern Hospitality. The minute you 1st start talking to them, they make you feel welcome & appreciated. Thats big for me. Their prices are the lowest around. They make sure of that so I dont have to bother with calling all the local oil companies to get the best price. For introverts who dont love talking on the phone: you can even order online! They are more than prompt. I cant praise them enough. Just an outstanding family owned company all the way around! We had an outstanding experience with Miner Discount Fuel. We ran short of oil the day before Thanksgiving and were having 22 guests for dinner. I called Lori and she re-routed Rob to fill our tank and kept our rate low!! He worked until late to fit us in and was as pleasant as always. This company works hard to keep its customers happy. I would not recommend the hassle over a few cents in savings. They did not follow through with a confirmation email stating a clear delivery date as promised. Therefore, since my delivery date was up in the air, I did not leave any money. They proceeded to hassle me while at work, calling, texting and finally emailing me. I guess they were trying to deliver the oil anyway even though I called that morning and left a voicemail saying I wasn’t leaving the money out. The email I did receive had an invoice attached to it with no clear date for delivery and was very chaoticly organized with relevant information hard to find. Once I had a confirmed date, I sent an email stating where I left the money that morning that morning, to which I received no response. Upon calling to see if the oil had been delivered, I got unnecessary attitude from Lori, that I would like to say, turned my mood sour, but decided I would not give her that benefit. I can’t wrap my head around why you would be rude to a new customer...don’t you want repeated business? You are not doing me any favors by delivering our oil. I have bad days at work too, and know that customer service isn’t always fun, but would never be rude to a customer, and was definitely very pleasant towards her.

They dont need new customers. Rob the owner filled our tank $486.93. We paid $487 in cash while rob counted it out. We got a nasty text accusing us of purposely short-changing rob by less than a dollar. We never would do that and never got an apology.

Im so glad i found Lori and Rob at Miner Discount Fuel. After dealing with a rude and completly unprofessional oil company, Lori and Rob are exactly what Ive been looking for. When I was very low on oil because my former fuel company failed to return my calls requesting a delivery. Lori was extremly accommodating and arranged to have Rob deliver oil that day even though they were complety booked. They squeezed me in on one of the coldest days of the year. I was Robs last stop and it was an extremely long day for him seeing he was at my house around 10:00 pm. He showed up with a smile and you could tell by talking with him he was as genuine as they come. Im glad i found them and now have a dependable fuel company for life. You will not be disappointed by using Miner Discount Fuel.
