This is the best place to go to learn to SUP! We love the quiet, manageable cove, full of wildlife including bald eagles! We saw a mother eagle with two offspring last summer, and many other beautiful birds. It is a great spot tucked away in a lovely harbor. The staff are all very helpful and make you feel very comfortable learning how to SUP. I have now gone several times and every time is more enjoyable than the next. Nothing better than spending a few hours paddle boarding with a girlfriend on a beautiful day. The young woman who helped us was friendly, enthusiastic and informative. There was beautiful scenery on the river with several coves to explore, the only downside is the smell of diesel in a few sections and the river itself is not the healthiest.

Beautiful, relaxing, and scenic experience going stand up paddle boarding on my own! Staff were very accommodating and friendly. A must try for anyone who would like to find a relaxing activity for the summertime!

Great experience kayaking today. We called yesterday and no one answered due to their technical issues with phones. They called us back a few hours later and offered us half off a kayak rental. The scenery was gorgeous and the staff were great. Would reccomend!

So.... Not only do we love Brian and Lisa when we are in Rhode Island but we love them enough that while on Oahu we found them and booked a surf lesson on the North Shore of Oahu. Brian is the ultimate surfer dude. Kind, professional and totally knowledgeable about all things surfing. I trust him completely with my 14 year old daughter in the toughest of surf conditions. Our group of six had a wonderful experience getting private lessons and later renting boards. Both were very last-minute arrangements but went smoothly. Great instructors, convenient setup, and overall a great way to spend your morning!

Over the summer my younger brother came to visit, and I surprised him with surf lessons. Thanks to the team at Paddle Surf RI, the surprise went off without a glitch, and we had an amazing time. Upon arrival, we were introduced to the team as well as the equipment. After a brief but thorough on-land instruction, we were off in to the water in no time. Thanks to the assistance of our personal instructor, there were minor wipe outs, many great successes, and an entire hour of fun!
