I would like to thank Seth P. He was the only one that took the time to diagnose my issue. I had 4 other major companies. That I will not name. To tell me what was wrong with my system. They all tried to push a new system on me. Without really checking to see what my issue was. They were all quoting me in the range of 5k to 11k. He came in, spent an hour or so on it. Figured out what my issue was. Asked if I wanted fixed. And for the price offered. Of course i said yes. Saving me thousands. So I would highly recommend Seth P and Westin Air Heating and Cooling to anyone. Its hard to find someone with honest work.
Our AC went out on our unit when it was just over a year old. It was almost 90 degrees out. I called and they could not come for 2 days. They also said labor was not in warranty any longer. Two days? The house was 77 when I called when she called back it was 84 in the house I said to her our house is 84 degrees! She said “you said it was 77 earlier” this was her reply? We called another company who repaired it that evening.

From start to finish, Westin Air was a professional and superior HVAC company. After getting a ridiculously high quote and experiencing many red flags from another local company, we called Westin Air. Cathy came out that day and was able to answer all of our questions, put us at ease, gave us temporary air conditioners to keep us cool during the 90 degree days, and ultimately gave us a price on a complete AC and furnace install for Trane equipment that was thousands less than another company. I appreciated that Cathy and Anna checked in on us while we waited for install. James and his team arrived on time and were very professional and courteous. They put down tarps so as not to track mud/dirt into the house, and even checked to make sure that my kids wouldn’t slip and fall on the tarps. Night and day difference from our experience with the other company, and now our house is cool and we have a brand new HVAC system that will last us for 15+ years. I cannot recommend them enough, very glad we chose Westin.
My wife and I decided to add a split unit system to our home. After a lot of research, we decided on the mitsubishi split system. Westin Air is a diamond dealer which adds years to your system warranty so we reached out to them and one other diamond dealer. The difference maker was Westin Air had an additional warranty on their labor. From the beginning, we were able to reach the rep who answered any question we had. The crew that installed the system was great too. The laid out drop clothes to protect our floors and answered my questions about placement for our needs. After installation, they walked me through all the basic functions for the system. Would recommend this company to others.

This company is fantastic. They always get out quickly and on time. We have been using them for 3 or 4 years. They have removed old electric resistance furnace from our attic and installed new gas furnace. They have been servicing our 3 gas furnaces and 2 geothermal units. Very knowledgeable, friendly and reasonably priced. We usually get the same tech (Seth) (not sure if that is on purpose or not) but he is well acquainted with our equipment and really knows his stuff from gas furnaces to geothermal units. He seems to be one of those guys that knows what the problem is just from a description of the issue because of extensive field experience. Highly recommended.
They were on time, professional, friendly, and quick. they did several tests on her new furnace before they left to make sure it was working correctly, Jason was extremely friendly and helpful, all the guys were helpful. They showed me how to work the thermostat. Laurie texted to let me know they were on their way, checked in on their progress, so friendly and professional. Wonderful company to do business with! They were very prompt, had a great price and we cant speak highly enough of the gentlemen that did the install of our new air conditioning system. We had patients in the office the day of the install. You wouldnt have known the installers were even working because they were so quiet and polite.
Trustworthy company. They repaired my wiring problem and got my AC back on quickly after another company had quoted far more costly repair and replacement charges. Im glad I got another opinion. It saved me @ $900. I will definitely be using them for all my future maintenance and service.
From the first person who answered the phone (Victoria), to the sales person who bid the job (Cathy), and to the first rate installation crew, Westin is a first-class operation! Our 13 year-old A/C failed died in the middle of a heat wave (always). Our long-term A/C contractor told us they might be able to get someone out to give us a bid in FIVE DAYS! Called Westin and we had a fully operational, brand new, Trane system up and running in less than 36 hours from my first phone call. Responsive, reasonably priced, and far exceeded expectations!
They were very competitive in their prices. Low wait time for installation of my new Trane unit. The installers were polite, professional, and clean. My wife and I are very pleased.
Of course the furnace stopped blowing heat on one of the colder days of the month. By the time we suspected there wasn’t any heat blowing it was late evening. This company is very honest, thorough, and responsive. I have used them to satisfy my customers needs.Yesterdays experience with Adam Smith went extremely well. He worked independently and methodically through 2 furnaces while I monitored other repairs within the home.His detailed report was Legible and placed on kitchen counter.I recommend this company.
Last spring my heat pump froze up badly so I shut it down and thawed it out. Called Westin Air who came out and by then the weather had warmed up and he said it was working well now and would probably work OK until the weather got cold again. That is exactly what happened. In the fall it froze up again. Called them again and he found a bad defrost sensor and then checked out the furnace and found a bad capacitor and circuit breaker. Spent much of the day here and ran all over town to get parts. Did not charge me for some of the installation and while I am handy person I had no experience on heat pumps or furnaces. He toke the time to explain to me the operation of these things and showed me where all these parts were and how I could tell myself if they were bad. Also what maintenance I needed to do myself. The cost of all this was also very reasonable and less than I expected. These are the most HONEST and caring heating and air conditioning people I have experienced. Unlike another company who claims to CARE who way over charged for a part and for maintenance and cleaning which consisted of running some water over the outside of the cover and never checking for plugged drain holes which wound up ruining the bottom 3 inches of the radiator core due to ice build up. Also wanted to charge 300 dollars for a furnace part I took off and cleaned well and has now worked perfectly for 2 yrs. John R.
Absolute great experience. Technician was very friendly and knowledgeable. After he performed the service on my geothermal system, he went through the settings on both of my thermostats to make sure they were okay and he found a couple that needed adjusted. He also changed my humidifier filter which I didnt expect. In my opinion, this was above and beyond what Westin Air was called to do. I will definitely call them the next time I need service.
I called to schedule a check of my humidifier. It was very loud and I was concerned it was not working properly. They were able to have Seth come out same day. He determined it was just the water pressure and lowered it. He is very knowledgeable about our system, which I appreciate! He is also very nice.
This company installed the HVAC system for the previous owners of our house. When we moved in, it was still covered under warranty. The company wanted us to pay $180 a year to include two service calls a year to look at the unit. This would supposedly extend the warranty for labor. First time out, they tell us he installers did not install the thermostat properly. Great, what else did they not do properly? During the second year of service, they never showed up the second time during the year. When we got out of warranty, a problem developed with the AC. They came and replaced a couple of parts, which did not solve the problem. They were going to check with Trane but we never heard back from Westin again. Good thing they didnt send an invoice for the parts. Another company came out and found it was a sensor that was not hooked up properly that Westin did when they came out for the fall service. The heat worked fine but when it switched to AC, it did not. This company cannot diagnose problems in the equipment they install.

I am happy I ended up with Westin Air for my new heating and cooling replacement need.Customer service representative is very helpful and knowledgeable. Westin Air doesn’t enforce you with extra bond like service contract. You as a customer decide what you want and how you want. You’re free with 2 years of labor warranty which is pretty impressive.I would really like to thank Cathy, Justin and the team (installation), and Westin Air in general. Keep up the great service.

Had a full furnace and A/C system replacement. Installation crew was very efficient and thorough. Arrived on time and left work site clean when they left . Was impressed with the system testing they did to confirm all components were working properly. Received a more efficient and quieter system at a great price!

Seth was awesome. He happily dealt with my boys asking a million questions, my dog barking and the hottest 2 weeks of the year. This was a breath of fresh air considering I had a large AC company local to Columbus come out first and tell me i needed to replace the whole unit that was originally installed in 2011.Not only did Seth save me about $5,000, he taught me how to properly maintain the AC unit going forward. Westin Air just helped our family after a seriously hot and stressful weekend. Covid has disrupted our home and savings account and when the AC stopped working on Friday night I started watching youtube videos on how I, a 44 year old kindergarten teacher could fix it myself and quickly realized no amount of YOU TUBE videos would teach me what to do so the worry set in...Are the dogs going to overheat? Oh wait I think I am suppose to say I worried about my teenagers first - Are my teens going to overheat and get moody? Will this be thousands of dollars? who in the world do I know that I can trust to not over charge us? Then I texted my friends and they said Westin Air and listed our other friends who trust them and told me one of our family friends works there! From start to finish Westin Air was professional, knowledgeable and responsive. Our rep Cathy came out last Saturday to give us a quote on a new air and heating system. She took meticulous measurements and asked pertinent questions. She promptly replied with a quote and backed it up with detailed notes so we could choose the correct units for our house. Furnace stopped working at a rental during a cold spell in December. Westin Air had a new one in in 2 days and made the renters comfortable with temporary space heaters while they waited. Thank for fixing my AC super fast!! I have called Westin Air two years in a row in a pickle during hot weather with a non functioning AC. Both times the tech was friendly and knowledgeable and was able to get my 17 year old AC up and running. Highly recommend them!

I dread hiring contractors because it seems things never go as discussed or that corners get cut. I was so happy when Westin changed my furnace and ac because not only did it go just as discussed, the work was clean and meticulous and the workers were professional. 3 years ago we contemplated purchasing a new heating and cooling system. We received visits and quotes from several companies, including Westin Air. We decided we wanted to do business with Westin Air. We liked the practical, no pressure and knowledgeable presentation given by Cathy Shanklin. Ultimately we decided not to replace our system at the time. Fast forward 3 years, and on the hottest week of the year so far, our a/c decided to give up the ghost. I pulled out our quotes and called Cathy out of the blue. I was happy that she answered the phone and was able to quickly access our previous quote. She provided us with a new quote by the end of the day and arranged to stop by to take pictures of our system. She also provided us with loaner window units to keep us cool in the interim.We were placed on the following weeks schedule and our system was installed. The installers were knowledgeable and efficient, and were respectful of our property. They took care to cover up carpeted areas and did not leave any mess behind. The entire system took a bit longer than expected to install, so they scheduled the following week to install the furnace components. In the meantime the a/c was cooling the house.We are very pleased with our new system.

Very happy with this company. I called them since my heat pump was not keeping the temperature at what I had my thermostat set. I scheduled a tech to come to my house to check on my heat pump. The tech called me and told me that since it was so cold outside, heat pumps are often not able to keep the house as warm as the thermostat is set. Once the temperature comes back up, it should be able to keep up as normal.I think this is exceptional service. They could have come out and charged me a service fee to tell me the same thing, but they called me and saved me some money. I will keep this companys info and call them whenever I have any further problems. Very impressed.
Id pretty much given up on my Water Furnace. It was intermittent, always showing a low water flow warning, then shutting down, but with no detectable issues. After three years of problems, replacement parts, and four expensive opinions from other repair services, I was seriously considering switching to propane. My furnace was dead, and outside temps were falling. As a last ditch effort, I called Westin and scheduled an appointment.Seth Peters showed up the next morning, on time, well equipped and ready to tackle my problem. He carefully tested every possible metric, went out to his truck and filled out a worksheet to get an overall picture of my furnaces health, then returned to announce the furnace itself was doing fine. That left just the thermostat to test, and Seth immediately realized that it was only partially clipped into its base on the wall. It appeared the contacts were possibly not tight enough. He gave it a good shove and after a loud snap, it was visibly tighter against the wall.That was several weeks ago now. After all my disappointing experiences with Water Furnace service, I didnt fully trust his fix, but this long after the fact, Im now convinced Seth nailed it. My WF is running just as it should, for the first time in a very long time.Seth presented a bill that was exactly what the lady had said it would be, and left me with some suggested changes which would improve air flow and make the unit more efficient.Clearly, Id use Westin Air again. From my personal experience, theyre fair, smart and honest. What else could you want?
Seth came out, looked at our furnace, walked me through what was wrong and the cost up front. I also told him how our first floor bedroom was always cold and asked if he had any recommendations. Westin Air just installed a new furnace and we are very happy with our experience and our new furnace. It’s only been a few days but we can already feel a difference in our home’s consistent, comfortable temperature. The installers were professional and courteous and did a great job.
I spent over $8,300 with this company on a new furnace and air conditioner with a five year warranty on all parts and LABOR.One would think that they would have better records to remember their customers.I needed a new furnace and air conditioner on my 26 year old home. So, I checked out a few companies and found three that fit my needs in price and professionalism.Cathy from Westin Air,came out and gave me a quote that I could live with. It included a warranty for five years including all parts and LABOR.Installation went well including a dehumidifier. The installers placed the water source on the COLD water source, although it was previously on the hot water line.When I called in for service to correct the situation, the repairman bad mouthed the installers. The repairman said that he couldn’t touch a saddle valve nor install the proper one needed, although they had done plumbing work including the gas line. I had to call the manager to rectify this.Subsequently, every time I’ve had to call them for service, the receptionist say’sthat I’ll have to pay a $79 diagnostic fee.I have to explain this to her (and prove) to them each and every time including the technician that comes out because he too try’s to charge me for a service call.When my warranty expires, I will not be using this company.

They arent pushing you to buy or fix anything. They are very clear in pointing out issues that could come in the future or what could be dangerous. They worked with our warranty company and made it as easy as possible for them to decide on fixing the issues and or replacing the furnace. Cathy was so helpful and went out of her way to get us in line for a new furnace as quickly as possible. Highly recommend them and will use them for any and all of our air check ups and problems. Sales process was clear and well organized. Questions were answered promptly and clearly. The install team arrived on time, were courteous and efficient. When the equipment installation was completed the team leader stayed to demonstrate the new equipment and initialize the Wi-Fi enabled thermostat. We were very pleased with the outcome of the entire project.

My a/c stopped working after a storm. I called on a Monday and Justin was over the next day. He did a thorough check of the system and found that the power outage after the storm reset my thermostat. He programmed it and got it working just in time for the heat wave.

Trifecta!It’s rare to find good customer service let alone a company that goes above and beyond. My AC unit needed replaced thanks to the R-22 phase out and our overly regulated federal government (need I digress). My father had a great experience with Westin Air a couple years ago so I gave them a call. Cathy provided a quote and promptly answered several email questions. The bid from Westin Air was almost a $1000 better than competitive bids I received for the same unit! My installation requirements were unique and Westin Air went out of their way during a busy season to assist with the solution. The installation process went smooth and the technicians kept the house clean (used drop cloths without being asked to keep the path from the front door to the basement clean). Westin Air provided a trifecta…best product, best price and best service. I proudly recommend Westin Air.
