I love iron pony. Good way to burn some time when I wait on my wife while she busy at appointments. Staff is fairly nice and will ask if you need help. Only complaint I have is some of the prices are high and they do not let you test ride bikes. I have heard they price match, but havent tried.

A nice place to go and kill time. Tons of bike models to look at, including gear, headsets, helmets, aftermarket equipment, and so on. They now even have side by sides, quads, etc. Unfortunately used bike prices are sky high, but new bike prices with rebates and legit. They also have several demo days per year where you can test ride motorcycles. However you need to sign up early and get there as soon as possible!

These guys are about as difficult as possible to buy a motorcycle from. I recommend you try anywhere else before going here to purchase a motorcycle. Their PARTS department is GOOD and I do recommend them which is the only reason I didn’t give them 1 star. They also have good deals on riding gear from time to time too.PS: I know for a fact the used 2020 DR650 with 4500miles on it listed for 6999 was taken in trade for less than $4900 if that info is helpful to anyone.

I hate to give anything but 5 stars, but I had two completely different experiences over 3 visits. The first time, my wife was purchasing her first helmet and jacket and gear and the associates were very helpful and attentive and it was a great experience. However after falling in love with riding, I went back to get my first set of gear and it was the exact opposite. Im not sure if its because Im not the typical body size or maybe Im just new and ignorant of the style of service, but nobody asked if I needed help or were even present in the jacket/helmet department. The couple employees I did see seemed more interested in talking amongst themselves.However I really liked the salesmen who helped me with the process of buying a Honda cb500, so thanks Jordan C! The showroom is huge and they have a decent selection from all manufacturers, pretty cool. The selection of merchandise was nice and they even had a jacket that fit me, which I was not expecting. Prices were fair for being a retail store and was nice to try on everything before buying.Maybe it was the day I came back but if the sales floor had a little bit better service would be a perfect store.

Easy location, great selection but the hours are not so great. Be sure to check the website before driving over as they close earlier than you think. Aside from that, fantastic! Will likely be purchasing a bike from there one day.

First time buying gear from here and was not disappointed. Tons of options to choose from so youll find something you like.Talked to the rep about what I was looking for and they assisted with every step and provide very useful knowledge. Will be back soon to add to the collection.

A great selection of bikes and accessories. If you cant find it there, youre probably not going to find it anywhere. Staff there are very knowledgeable, therefore, very helpful. They take the time to listen to you so you get exactly what youre looking for or something very similar.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Parts Dept couldn’t find brake pads for my 2012 Triumph. They sell Triumph bikes. Asked a question about antifreeze and the super helpful fella behind the desk said he just wasn’t sure. No other help offered.The service department never answers their phone or returns emails.

Seems like 👍 a nice place...havent been in in about 5 years. Always have a full parking 🙄 lot!!!

Hate to give a 1 star review because most of this store is great. Sales department is lacking in their customer service. After applying online they never once called me about my application. I called in several times in a 4 day period. They kept telling me theyd call me back in an hour. Never called back. Finally I had enough and complained to the sales person about their lack of customer service. Then later that night I got an email that all sales staff was ccd on to tell me they couldnt approve me at this time (presumably so they didnt have to work with me anymore) only for them to run my credit twice more later that day. Do not recommend working with the current sales team. Also I got pocket dialed from the sales manager (or finance) and then when trying to call back they ignored my call.

Best all-around motorcycle everything store from gear to bikes to parts and accessories excellent sales staff very engaging kind and knowledgeable. I have stopped every time I drive through Columbus. :)

A friend suggested Iron Pony for a new rider looking for some good gear. The workers were soo helpful and nice! They worked with us to help us find exactly what we needed at super reasonable prices for entry level gear. I loved that they explained to us the difference between brands, cost, and types of gear. Shout out to employee 304 - didn’t catch your name but you made our experience so much better! Overall, great (and huge) store with everything you could think of and more & staffed with the friendliest product experts.

My husband and I just visited the Iron Pony for the first time. My husband is a new rider and I am of course concerned about his safety. Luckily we had Andrew help to educate us about the safety of the helmets. He took his time to explain the helmets and made sure the the fit was right. He is an asset to the company and greatly appreciated by this nervous wife!

Really big store with lots of selection for riding gear and parts. Had a tire change in service department and fixed no problem if not just a tad over priced.Staff pleasant to work with.If you must shop in a retail store this is about the only option in Columbus.Can’t review any higher as I will not be shopping here anymore as they cowtail to city of Columbus mask mandates and don’t respect freedom.Try revzilla.com or Amazon for other options.

Really great selection of bikes and gear, but did not have the model of HJC helmet I was looking for.

Went to my favorite large size bike shop today in Columbus, Iron Pony. They carry a lot of brands that are not readily available everywhere. They have ducati, triumph, indian, beta, aprilia, vespa, polaris, slingshot, and all the big 4 Japanese manufacturers.Its a little bit of a drive to get over there, but its really hard to order gear and just hope that it fits or that the texture feels right.I got to view plenty of excellent machines as you can see in my pictures. There are so many more models that I didnt take pictures of. The two bikes I was really looking for were not in stock, but they do regularly have them.These guys could easily take all my money. Its always a struggle too make sure they dont.

They have a large variety of products. Staff is friendly and informative. All in all I had a good experience and would go back. Prices are reasonable.

Ist time at the Iron Pony and we were treated nice the sales person showed us all the vehicles and thoroughly explained how they work if we were interested in purchasing them. I was like a kid in the candy store. I really liked the atmosphere there.

Called to order some specific parts for a 2019 zx6r that was purchased here, wasn’t quite sure which bolts I needed. The rep said it wasn’t in stock, I asked for a part number said he couldn’t provide it, how do you check stock without that part number? Told me I could order it through OEM section on website. Guess what, it needs a part number to do so lol going somewhere else from now on, guy also had an attitude, like doing his job was such a hassle to him.

Selection is amazing. You can find any apparel or safety item for riding. Now trying to purchase is another thing. Do not come try to finance through their lenders unless you have top credit.

I enjoyed the store. the employees were helpful. when i checked out, i felt a little rushed out of the store. afterwards my cousin tells me that when he checked out he was given a free tshirt. i was confused as we spent the same amount. I was a little disappointed to say the least

Great place for motorcycle shopping. All majors brands are available except BMW. Knowledgeable, proactive and courteous staff. People can be spoilt for choice and can spend more than couple of hours here.

Iron Pony is the Walmart of motorcycles. The place is massive and I love seeing all the bike brands I normally do not get to see. Gear selection, parts, and accessories are top notch. Most of the staff is very helpful but there are a few rude ones I always end up finding. All and all an excellent place. I drive over 2 hours just to come here.

They are more than willing to take your money for a $32k bike ..but good luck getting any service even 10 minutes after purchase. Would definitely not recommend buying from iron pony power sport.

Whatever gear you need for motor cycles and off road vehicles chances are they have it here and in your price range. Super friendly and helpful staff. You cant look around for long without someone asking to help you find what you are looking for or answer your questions.

Expensive, dont let you test ride bikes, and have an awful selection for females. They have hours where it feels like Im always showing up right after close or as they are about to close. I only go here because its close.

Shopped there since the 80s, bought valve keepers for 1988xr200r for 2.38 a piece. A shop wanted 9.00 dollars for a used one. This was last week. Say what you want but I love Iron Pony.

Love the inventory, but watching one of the workers fight with a man not wearing his mask made me think! I get it, its a company policy, but she stopped him and had a heated argument with him increasing the risk of him spreading something, otherwise he would have kept his mouth shut and moved on. And she didnt social distance from him at that time.

Best selection around for anything motorcycle, from gear to helmets to bikes. But they have a hard time keeping bikes in stock due to their popularity.

Imagine a two story motorcycle store the size of a Walmart, with practically every brand you can think of, and a place where just the helmet section alone is larger than some stores and that my friends is Iron Pony Motorsports. This place is amazing. The staff are super friendly, and the bike selection is plentiful including used bikes as well. You can easily spend an afternoon just looking around the place.

Great place kid friendly, I purchase all of my motorcycle gear from here. However the sizes are not American sizes and your visit can prove to be lengthy looking for your size. But once you find it you will love the quality of purchase. The staff us very patient and friendly as well. I love it.

These guys always work with me to find parts and equipment for my bikes. I have different makes and a spread of years (1969-2007) and the parts guys try thier best to order what they dont have. Ive also used the voicemail with part numbers and they have researched and gotten back to me. Its definitely the wal mart of motorcycles.

I was having a decent experience with the westerville rd location in columbus,ohio until i got to the finance department. The bank offered a %4 interest rate on the loan but iron pony added %1.0 on the back end of the deal which anyone in their right mind knows that that point goes in the pocket of the finance officer and the sales rep. Its a old trick that car dealerships use as well to make thousands of dollars on the back end of the deal. BEWARE

My dream bike is a pre-1200 red Triumph Scrambler. In March, I checked their stock and found a 2016 beauty for less than 6K. I had trouble with the salesman not showing up, so Jeremy stepped in and got the commission. Every time I look at her (she being a British bike, I named her Olivia Day Dench after 3 of my favorite Brit thespians), I smile THAT smile. In fact, when I returned to buy new boots, I said hi to Jeremy. When he asked about the bike, I smiled THAT smile, and he knew. He just knew. I’ve already put almost 600 miles on her, and I can’t stop smiling...THAT smile.However...Nobody offered me a free t-shirt. NOBODY! My friend and riding buddy bought a bike (I won’t say where) but went to IP for a fancy-shmancy helmet. **HE** got a free t-shirt. Then: ANOTHER friend just bought a bike from IP and got HIS t-shirt. Post sale, I bought those boots and a phone holder for about $180. STILL no free t-shirt.I’m trying to victimize myself but am falling short. As a white male, I doubt that discrimination was afoot, so I fail to comprehend why I was shunned by IP in obtaining an XL (or XXL, if they wear smaller) shirt. Ergo, I’ve been forced to rate IP 4 measly stars. Should I ever receive my due clothing, I will renegotiate my star power.
