I was on a trip visiting a friend in OH and my vehicle had started acting up slightly on my way to see her. I wasnt comfortable making the trip home, especially since my husband is the one who knows cars better than I do. I was in a vulnerable position. My friend and her family have used Tuffy for a long time and she scheduled an apt for my vehicle there. I got in the next day for service. They were very kind in dealing with me, addressed the issues at hand, and asked a reasonable amount of money for their time and services. My husband and I were thankful to have found someone like them and my vehicle made it home the 7 hour trip beautifully.

Ron provides great customer service here and although Ive only recently started coming to them, everyone I work with goes here and loves it.

I do Home Health Care Hospice work, and rely on my car. However, I am such a girl that I have no idea how to put air in my tire. My front tire was running low, and I saw this place and stop. The young man checked the air in all the tires and filled them, and did not charge me. I was very touched - its nice to have somebody help me as I try and help others.

My alternator went bad two days before Christmas and I called over 6 companies for quotes. Everyone wanted around $750-$900 so I decided to ask my friends for some recommendations. Rick G. told me about Tuffy, told me to ask for Ron, and mentioned hes been having his car serviced at Tuffy for years. Ron was super nice and they quoted me a price under $600! When I picked my car up it ended up being cheaper than the price I was quoted and they fixed my serpentine belts (3) as well! Mosty Tuffy shops are solid choices for getting your car serviced, but the Westerville location is one of the best service centers in the Columbus area based on value, service, and quality. This location will probably average you 20-25% less in cost than other service centers for most work.

Having relocated to Westerville recently I was having a difficult time in finding a good & dependable Auto Mechanic after being ripped off by two local service centers; Goodyear and Tire Discounters.Asking around I was referred to Tuffy Tires on State St. in Westerville. This was a great experience from start to finish!Ron was one of the most friendly service providers that Id ever met. He and the service crew at Tuffy changed the oil, lubed my SUV, changed three windshield wipers, checked my brakes and reported that for now they were just fine, and rotated my tires.No hard sales job, only a sincere recommendation that since my present tires were beginning to have dry rot that I might want to consider replacing them over the next few months.Included on the receipt for todays service was a suggestion of the type of tires I should consider and how much they would cost. Ron even recommended that I didnt need to purchase the expensive Michelins that I currently had on my car, rather he listed the name brand, etc. that would be compatible for my SUV. It turns out that they will cost about $400 less that my current tires!A nice, clean environment is the waiting room, comfortable and with WiFi.This will be not only my standard place for any auto repairs, but for my Daughter and Granddaughter also!Very friendly employees who treat their customer (me) like royalty!In all, a great place to go for all your auto service

When I took my truck in they were professional, nice, and they kept me informed about what was going on. I got my truck towed there last night, so I hope they keep up the professionalism. I also hope their mechanic is good at troubleshooting.

Great job on brakes for my new (used) car!

This Tuffy is absolutely amazing. First time they worked on my car in the winter, the rear axle had snapped and they replaced it and redid my brakes in about two days for ~$600. This time we had my car towed there Saturday afternoon, they fixed a cylinder issue and a shifting issue today and it’s already done, with them being closed when my car arrived Saturday as well as being closed on Sundays. They are absolutely amazing mechanics and I would never take my car anywhere else.

Carl and Ron were awesome in replacing a warped rotor. Was in an out in a flash and car feels great.

My family has been using this Tuffy for almost a decade thanks to their convenient location. If you dont have a personal mechanic, the Westerville Tuffy does reasonable repairs at good prices.Though they may not be the cheapest in town, I trust them to be honest about faults with my car, and they will never do a repair that isnt worth doing. In fact, they recently recommend that I skip an 1800 dollar repair in lieu of replacing it because they wanted to make sure I had a reliable car more than they just wanted my payments.

Every time I have gone, it has been a great. We have a fleet of cars. They are fixed fast, on time, with a fair price. They know that keeping our fleet on the road is important. We have been with them since they opened.

Ive been bringing my vehicles to Tuffy for about 4 years now. All types, from a 1995 F-150, to the 2003 Town and country van, the 2006 lexus IS 250. MY TOY is a 2002 jaguar XKR. I bought it new and now only has 40,000 miles on it. Needless to say, I baby it a little. A few months ago. I was having trouble with the window. Carl or Ron said that if it was the regulator or a combination of motor, regulator that it would be pricey. I knew that, because Byers was at $2000 for a new regulator. I declined the service at the time, because it was expensive.Yesterday I bit the bullet and called Tuffy. I spoke to Ron, who all to well remembered the issue. I said, lets fix the window. I was 10:00 am. He said to bring it in, now. I dropped it off (my wife followed me in her car), and we left it there. Later in the day, I called Ron for a progress report. He said, its done, Steve. I gulped and said, How much?.He said, one hour labor which was $87.50 plus tax. ($91.88) total.Are you kidding me!! Seems that some bolts were loose, and he or his guys just lubed and tightened and did whatever they do to fix it.MY POINT IS..they could have charged me $2000.00 and I would have paid and would have been satisfied. HA! $39.00 for a oil change and rotation??? Oh but we put in fuel injector treatment! A Bottle of STP at walmart is a buck. Tried to tell me that my brakes are squealing because i needed new ones AND Rotors providing an estimate of over $418.00!!!. I had them replaced last year from Pep Boys. Had so much brake dust on the wheel I took it down the street after they were done and power washed the wheels. Came back and they ignored me and I told them Well the squeak is gone! They wouldnt give me an answer. THIEFS! CUSTOMERS BEWARE OF THIS PLACE.
