Excellent customer service from Kristin R for assistance on my purchase of an electric guitar. I had called the day before to see if it was still there from a previous visit. It was still available and I told her I would either come by before they closed or stop in the next day. When I arrived the next day, Kristin had pulled it from the sales floor and had it behind the counter with my name on it. She also helped me pick out a gig bag and prepped my order and I was on my way in less than 15 minutes. Would highly recommend this store for your musical needs.
Excellent experience! Staff is very helpful and friendly. They have a pretty decent selection and great deals. The lady at the front desk was very kind!
As someone who learned of this place by recommendation from other previous customers of this store, I was very disappointed with the rude customer service I received from a male store employee who was asked to take a look at an older violin that was passed down to me as a family heirloom. Two generations of my family before me learned to play violin on this instrument including my grandmother who would be over 100 years old now if she was still living today and my aunt who was born with a sensorineural hearing loss which we all feel was a miraculous accomplishment given the significance of her hearing loss and how difficult it must have been for her to tune the instrument before playing. Although in the end the instrument may not be worth much to anyone else, I felt like I was annoying this store’s employee and wasting his time. I did not have any opportunity to ask any questions and certainly did not appreciate his condescending comments about it being cheaply made or his sarcastic comment about another violin in our family that I mentioned possibly being a Stradivarius. As someone from a family who takes pride in taking care of what we have, being disappointed that I never had the opportunity to learn to play a stringed instrument myself, and who may someday have a child who wants to learn to play the violin like her family members before her I am certain that this employee did nothing to make me feel comfortable coming back to this store for purchase of a new instrument or any kind of repair of any instrument I own. The one star that I am giving in my rating was for the friendly female employee who answered my questions on the phone and who greeted me when I arrived. She also I think was trying her best to reach over the rude male employee to place my violin gently back into its case when he did not seem to care what he was doing.
I have dealt with this store for years and I am very pleased with the customer service that they provide. They are very helpful when you have a question and are reasonable with their prices. This is a very good store to deal with.
Amazing staff has always been super helpful for the many years we have worked with them! Top notch customer care!
Beautiful store with a large variety of products. Staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful. Highly recommend.
Brought in my trombone to get a solder joint fixed. Also asked to have the slide looked at - it was less than smooth between 1st and 2nd position. I didn’t have high hopes they could do anything about that. Not only did they fix the slide and solder, they noticed my water key spring, pad and guard bumper needed replaced (which I had forgotten about). They definitely went above and beyond.
Friendly, helpful, hard working people and a good selection of products for most all your instrumental needs
I recently bought a digital piano there and they were great! The store manager Kristen, a college student store associate, and a tuba teacher helped me unpack and load the digital piano into my car. They were so helpful, so nice, and made sure that I went home with my piano that day. I am currently taking lessons there and I love it.Great customer service and atmosphere. I will purchase all of my musical instruments, books, and accessories here.
Excellent service! I recently had an accident with my flute which caused one of my keys to be slightly bent out of place, resulting in the instrument being practically unable to sound. I called Music and Arts at the recommendation of a fellow music teacher and Im so glad I did! The repair took just a few minutes, and they didnt even charge me for the work! Im so grateful, and will definitely be sending all my students here for repair work in the future. I also picked up some books and reeds I needed, and all the staff I interacted with were so kind and helpful. Thank you!
Last January I went in to get my son signed up forpiano lessons. They assigned me to an older instructor and she was very rigid and not very friendly. when I told her that my son didnt want this to be an extension of school he wanted to have fun with it she immediately told me she was not the right instructor. She was totally rude about it. she took me back up front so I can wait until someone else assigned her to another instructor and they simply told me they were going to give me a call and let me know what other instructor they assigned and they never did. She was so rude I was taken aback.
Had a routine checkup performed on my sax, straighten keys, leak check, tighten rods, etc. The sax came back in beautiful playing condition; hence, the two stars. Upsettingly, it also came back with a dent, about 3 mm long, and a chip, about 1 mm round, in the facing of the bell. This was my first and last time using a Music and Arts repair shop. Fortunately, I was able to find a wonderful, professional repair shop in Columbus for our other instruments. Wish I had gone there first. Buyer beware.
We have bought 2 instruments there and had brass instruments serviced all with great service.
Store: CLEANStaff: PROFESSIONALwill be back.
Wonderful store. Very friendly and helpful staff. Was able to get in and out very quickly.
Completely, totally, unequivocally, a rude company. It doesnt matter which store you go to. It seems to be company policy to be rude here. Even their customer service call center is rude, when they can be bothered to pick up the phone! I will never do business with this horrible place again. Good riddance.
Cashier was probably the rudest one Ive ever met very incesiderate for the fact that I was buying a $200 guitar. The guitar had the wrong tag and clerk made it seem like in was the consumer fault. As well as instead of helping fix the guitar that I was buying tried to get me to buy a different on based on his assumption of the level of experience.
Great store and staff got two of my sons instruments with them and about to get a third for my daughter. Always very helpful and nice.
Nice instrument place. We got my daughter’s trumpet their and the staff was very nice
The people at Music & Arts Westerville were just wonderful to me. First, I am disabled and have a speech problem which makes me very hard to understand sometimes. I am also, well, just old(er). I was looking for a Fender Telecaster for my 30 yr old son, and they just did everything to make it happen. I looked at Craigslist, Guitar Center, Reverb, etc. Turns out these guitars dont depreciate. You get what you pay for. So M&A honored the discount and I grabbed it. The instrument is as good as I could ever have hoped, and will probably be his lifetime instrument. I surely would still be looking if not for the discount. It made me feel real good that I got a good honest deal. The shop is what the name implies: Music & Arts, and everyone I dealt with there is truly an artist.
Be careful of the DETAILS!! I did a rent to own purchase of a USED cello four years ago for my 10year old daughter. It was a childs size cello. This aggreement was with the understanding that we would be able to trade in for a larger cello when she grew into one. Over the last four years we became frustrated statements became very infrequentwith and that resulted in payments being late. So we paid it off early, about 1 year ago. The contract only says to ask about exchange and early pay off priviliges NOTHING was ever said verbally, or in writing that you forfeit these priviliges when/if you pay off your instrument. When we called we were given conflicting reasons why we cannot do an exchange. First, because we paid it off early and got a discounted price! Then it just became that we paid it off. Interesting change in the wording. Either you have an exchange policy or you dont! There is NOTHING in the contract about this other than what I mentioned. This feels VERY MUCH LIKE A BAIT AND SWITCH. Further, were told they dont do buybacks either and we have to go to a third party to try to sell it. I have my own retail shop and know the importance of communicating to a customer... They did the opposite and have forever lost this one and I warn others of going there!
They have been nice & considerate everytime I have called or went in. They are very knowledgeable and have been very helpful.
We love music and arts, especially our drum teacher. All staff is so nice!
Do NOT go here for repairs or service. Terribly incompetent.
Great place for lessons and repairs. Staff seem very knowledgeable.
Nice instrument selection & great music teachers
I went in to ask about music lessons. The gentleman that helped me was very knowledgeable and helpful.
