First off, these are nice people. It isnt personal nor a lack of customer service. But Im really frustrated... Why is your #57 limestone brown!? Everywhere else has gray #57 limestone. I just had a new gravel driveway put in costing thousands of dollars. I needed to fill in a few low spots and level things out after everything had settled. I picked up a truckload of #57 from them and dumped it in my driveway only to just then realize it isnt the same color! Their #57 has a lot of dirt in it so I thought its just the dirt, it will wash out so I went ahead and spread it out all over my driveway.. well... several rainy days later and a power washing session has made me realize it isnt the dirt... The Limestone is just straight up brown... Now my brand new several thousand dollar driveway is two different colors... UGHHH! --- Response to owners response: I did NOT get 57 gravel. I am 100% certain i got #57 limestone. There is a sign right next to the pile that says 57 limestone I pulled right next to it, got loaded and paid for it. I didnt receive a receipt as the lady in the weigh station kiosk was having issues with printing. I waited for several minutes before I just told her I didnt need one and I drove off... Im aware of the 57 gravel vs limestone and knew I needed the limestone. I did not make a mistake, nor did your loader... The limestone I received is rough and jagged, the right size, it is not smooth, its simply not the same color as the #57 limestone I already received from the driveway contractors that did the work. So your guess is as good as mine... Either you or your limestone supplier is tainting the limestone and staining the rock.

I originally went to Home Depot to get knockout roses but wasnt satisfied with their selection! I searched nurseries & Kurtz was the closest to me.I knew absolutely NOTHING about knockout roses, or anything related to gardening for that matter! I also didnt know how I was supposed to transplant them once I got them home. Bill helped me out tremendously by picking them out for me, giving me step by step instructions, & told me to come back if I need more help!I am extremely grateful & will definitely return! Very quick service! I ordered some 411 limestone gravel for our walkway and it was delivered the very next day. The nursery has a nice selection of perennials and the ones I bought last year are thriving in the garden.

Went to pick up some mulch. Great experience from everybody involved from front/sales office to the heavy equipment operator. Fast, prompt and polite.

First time buying bulk mulch. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Kids got a big kick out of watching the loader fill the bed.

They seem nice enough, but I called in on a monday at 1:30pm regarding an order and have been bounced around to the wrong dept and on and off hold for 15 minutes now.

Best place to go for bulk landscape supplies(mulch, soil, gravel, etc). Nursery lacks but gets better each year.Compared to competition, these guys are great...theyll actually give you what you pay for; unlike at Ohio Mulch, where they short bags and bulk.

One of the best locations around by far. They have a nice dump spot plus they take dirt and yard waste where a lot of them only take yard waste. Great place to drop off tree limbs for free...also fantastic selection of different types of low cost gravel for yard work/landscaping/construction. Very friendly staff at the dump area who helped me unload and keep the area safe.

The service and selection were great. You weigh in on the scale around the corner. Then load up with what you need. Then, weigh out and check out. Thats it. All can be done through the drive up window. Nice people and fair prices.

Yard and weigh in are tough to navigate at first, but gets easier each visit when dumping sod. Quality limestone and processed mulches at decent prices compared to the competition. The drivers that load your trailer/truck are quick. Theres some great work being done @ Kurtz Bros. Thanks guys!

Went to Kurtz bros. for 1 yd. of mulch when I got home I bet I had barely 3/4 of a yard. I could not come close to cover the area I normally cover with the amount of mulch I get every year. Hope timber here I come.

Ordered $650 worth of loamy topsoil delivered from them, and when it showed up it was just heavy clay with a small amount of organic material mixed in. Sales manager unwilling to replace or refund. Beware, the descriptions dont match the product!Lots of other more reputable companies in town with better product, dont waste your time or money.

Good price and product, and they arrived on time. However, my order was seven tons of crushed limestone for my driveway. Instead of sending it over in a truck that could drive and dump at the time, the brought the stone in a truck that could only dump it all in a pile. As a result, I spent hours spreading the stone by hand with a rake. Turned what could have been a great experience into a chore.

Premier soil gave us our best garden year ever

Very unresponsive. I tried for a week and a half to get a quote for 20 yards of topsoil... called multiple times and just kept getting transferred to a voicemail. Left two voicemails, needless to say did not get a return call.

*** UPDATED 6/7/16 - Got a call from Jeff, one of the managers at Kurtz who made their mistake right by refunding the difference to me.Ordered a simple 1 cubic yard of dirt. Was given a price to have it delivered, but was never told about a delivery fee. Was charged almost double what I was quoted. When I called to try to get this fixed, was told by two different people that there was nothing that they could do, and that if I wanted the dirt picked back up, I would be charged another fee. Will never do business with them again.

Wow, it’s been a while since I’ve dealt with such poor customer service. I was not at Kurtz Bros for landscaping, but rather The Ohio BMV suggested I go here to have my trailer weighed.-Front desk attendant quite unhelpful with directions within their facility and rather unfriendly.-Scale was completely inaccurate: Manufacturer lists my 5x8 enclosed trailer at 840 lbs, empty. I added a 15” spare wheel and the scale showed 1520 lbs. I caught the obvious mistake, but it was too late as my front desk attendant already punch holed the official State weigh slip at 1520 lbs.-$5.00 charge couldn’t be paid in cash because attendant “didn’t have her key to the cash drawer”.We all have bad days and dealing with the public can be trying at times. But my simple task that required minimal effort by the Kurtz Bros staff was unpleasant. I can’t say I will willingly seek them for my future landscaping needs based on what I saw today.

One of my main locations for dropping off Landscape Debri. They do have some items that are not accepted, but if clean grass, leaves, limbs of a certain link and some other debri is what you need to dispose of, this is a good place to go. They also have a nursery with a large variety of native (I believe) plant, bushes and trees that are priced competitively. You aldo van pick up bulk and bagged varieties of mulch, soil, aggregates and some other landscape/lawn ammenities.

Reasonable prices. Im not a landscaper so it took a minute to figure out procedure and where to get loaded.

They told me they take yard waste. But when I got there they told me they wouldnt take it and then turned me away. The woman I talked to was very rude. I wont be buying any more mulch or plants there.

I ordered mulch got mud. Very difficult to spread. Ordered mulch from Kurtz when I lived in Columbus for several years. Based on prior experience, ordered mulch for OSSB, I will never order mulch from them againAfter seeing my post, Jeff called. He was very friendly and willing to work with me. He made arrangements to not only deliver the correct mulch but did it on a Saturday to accommodate my schedule. I have to move the stars up to a five.

Just got off a call and so far so good. I believe it was Tom who was very accommodating, however I must say the woman who answered seemed a little annoyed to be bothered, but was not rude by any means. Sometime people just are not having the best day. I could be wrong about the name (Tom). Regardless, he worked with me and made me feel like my order was the most important order he had that day. Delivery is this weekend, so I hope the quality and delivery matches the customer service provided by whoever I completed my order through.I ordered 9 tonnes of #8 aggregate and live under five miles from The Kurtz Bros locations. Very affordable.

I ordered 8 yards of soil got a call at 11am saying the driver was 30 mins out its now 1:47 I have 4 other jobs to do today I paid for delivery of the 8 yards the drivers calling me to asking where Im located I would think his job would be to know where Im located seeing as he was given the directions from his dispatch I may never shop with Kurtz again time is money
