And the BIG help comes in those last weeks up til the day and Candice was behind the scenes making sure we had the perfect day. Carla is an angel from above. I know this may sound dramatic but planning a wedding is incredibly stressful and Carla was the one who made it run smoothly. Carla, my month of coordinator, was in contract with me for over a year discussing thoughts and contingency plans while planning during a pandemic.The day of my wedding she took care of everything- including running across a field to grab us from sunset pictures so we could do our entrance. There is not problem too big for her or something she has not seen before. She is also the loveliest person. Once engaged my husband, then fiance suggested we should get wedding planner or at least a day of coordinator...and it was the best decision we could have ever made while planning our wedding. Candice was our coordinator and she was amazing! She kept me focused, calm, and sane during this whole process. We were paired with Jess Z! She was GREAT! Beautiful person inside and out! She was prompt with emails and texts, very detailed with answers and information! She was great with recommending bakers, venues, caterers, etc! I dont know what we would have done if she was there with us the whole ride planning a wedding! More importantly what we would have done if she wasnt present at the wedding! It wasnt cheap but definitely worth the money!!!! Kim from Details Made Simple went above and beyond in every way. At first we were hesitant to get a day of coordinator and tried very hard to make our wedding more affordable in any way we could. Dont Call it a Dream, Call it a PlanMy fiancee is very much the dreamer(Graphic Designer) and had lots of aspirations and ideas about how our wedding day would work out. I, being the computer analyst, just saw everything that could go wrong. Without having any idea how to pull off the wedding of her dreams I started searching for Coordinators. These ladies offered several reasonably priced planning packages that helped guide engaged couples through some of the madness. Once my fiancee talked to Candice, she was convinced this is just what we needed. We opted for an enhanced version of the Peace of Mind package that offered full Day of Coordinating services plus some planning coordination leading up to the wedding day. Carla was our day of coordinator but to be honest she was more than that. We booked her in February 2016 for our September wedding. From the day we booked, she did monthly check ins to see how things were going and what she could assist with. When time got closer, she was checking in every week. She also did a final confirmation with our vendors. She was always willing to lend a hand and her guidance. She came with me to our final walk through and knew the right questions to ask the venue. She truly made my vision come to life! She never felt like just a day of coordinator, she felt like more than that. She was someone by my side throughout the process and on the day of was very quick and efficient and thought on her feet! I mainly hired a day-of wedding coordinator to figure out the timeline, and to make sure that I wasnt the one having to tell everyone where to go and when. April ended up doing SO much more, and handling much more than just the day of. My husband Jeff and I were married this past Saturday. April was in touch consistently from the time I hired her last summer. She talked me down off many ledges, and listened to me vent when I needed to! It was wonderful to know that the timeline was set, and that all the vendors were confirmed. The day of the wedding, everyone commented on how calm I was. Thats because April took care of EVERYTHING, even things I wouldnt have ever thought of, and didnt know I needed. She even helped remind the pastor how the ceremony should go! I would highly recommend Details Made Simple if you want to truly enjoy your wedding day. We certainly did, and cant thank April enough!!

Carla Friday is a life saver! Im pretty sure our wedding would have been a disaster without her.Our venue went under new ownership, so that caused massive anxiety. She kept us calm through the changes. She constantly kept in contact with the new owners to ensure our day was successful.She was unnoticed by most guests. She made sure our ceremony was beautiful - paces timed out perfectly, entrances and exits beautiful, and made sure opportune photos were taken. She fixed a florist mistake and made a boutonniere in a couple of minutes with flowers from our altar piece. She made special arrangements for a guest with Celiac Disease so the guest could still enjoy the night. She set up all of our decorations at the venue and made sure they looked amazing!And Im sure there are a ton of other things that she did but I was kept unaware of these issues. Which is great, but now I cant brag about how amazing she is!I am so so thankful for everything Carla did for us!!And my husband says shes pretty cool.

Cindy & Kevin - 10.12.13Though everyone dreams of a perfect wedding it is almost impossible, as little things can and will go wrong in the days leading up to and on you wedding.Carla Friday was the reason all those little things didnt affect my special day and it all seemingly went without a hitch. Wow, plenty new! Worked there more than several years ago. SHIRLEY was the marerdi at the time. It was great then as it is today. The waiters and waitresses were outstanding.
