Excellent service. Had an issue that was manufacturing defect but Roy took care of it promptly and copied me in all communications with manufacturer. Clearly this company understands customer satisfaction. Messaged me after hours to make sure I was happy with the service. Not many companies do that these days. Very happy with the service I received and would shop here again. Worth the 2.5 hour drive!

Poor salesmanship. Wouldnt negotiate at all expected me to pay nearly 3 grand for a left over previous year model pit bike. Not name brand, new models available, was offering cash and still wouldnt budge. Oh and an extra 200$ assembly fee cant forget that. Usually dealerships will work with customers on deals like this. Unfortunate, i would have purchased the bike. Edit: Reduced from 3 to 1 star after owners bs response. They had the bike posted on Craigslist and Facebook saying will trade and everything but when I showed up with cash they wouldnt even wipe the $200 assembly fee no negotiation whatsoever and a very rude salesman who acted like we didnt even belong there. I will never purchase anything from them nor would I recommend them.

I drove for one hour when I get there the door was locked. ( 1:45PM ). A lady noticed me but she was telling me to go away with her hands. I wasn’t happy about it. I’m dark so I won’t say it’s because my looks. I’m glad I have to go to Dover post office. So I didn’t waste my long ride. Now I’m going to target or Walmart to buy a bicycle before go back to Maine.

Tough business to be in, consignment and selling used things often leads to animosity as can be seen by some reviews. However from everything I have seen and all the times I’ve been in the store both Roy’s appear to be honest hard working guys.I haven’t been able to make it in time for close a number of times and they’ll leave stuff outside for me, special order some stuff. Nice people to deal with.

Their Website is easy to navigate with numerous pictures of the items they are selling. A buyer will have a really good idea of what they are buying before they show up and physically look at. I have bought and sold snowmobiles and ATVs throughtout the past 10 +years. Its always a smooth transaction. I highly recommend them.

Stay away. Read all of the 1 star reviews that arent family or friends 5 star reviews. Its a consignment shop for anything they can profit on and know nothing about. Be sure to ask about warranty; youll be shocked. Just hope this review can help someone who thinks the business is reputable.

I dont understand all the negative reviews here on google? I know you cannot make everyone happy, but some of these reviews do not reflect my dealings with Roys company.Gave them my 2004 Saber Cat 500 on consignment and they were 100% upfront, informative, and honest. Assisted me with having the right selling price and even worked a trade deal to make my sale happen at a price I wanted. Dont know how much better or easier you can ask for. The leg work they have to do on their end to make a deal like that happen is going above and beyond in my book. 5 Start PLUS is well deserved. Thank you Roy and crew!

Glad to see Im not the only one who thought this place was awful. This place is a joke. I went there for a trade in towards a maverick and I spoke with the owner himself. very unpolite and stuck up. tried to say my quad and bike I was going to trade in were in poor condition because the bike had new plastics on it (I still had the originals too) and the quad had a slightly ripped seat cover (100% perfect mechanically on both machines). also tried to pick out random things to knock the trade in value down (ex. said fork seals were bad and there was not a drop of oil on the forks, also said the tires needed to be replaced on my can am renegade because they were not brand new (60% tread). now onto the maverick they had. it needed a 4wd actuator, all new plastics, new floor board, was obviously sunk in mud a multitude of times and beat on. He tried to sell in at a dealer price with no dealer backing it up at all or stepping forward to fix any of the problems. This place is a joke would never recommend them to anyone nor trust them to even change a tire.

Never shop here!!!!! Worst dealer EVER. Super unprofessional. Drove 1.5 hours to see a busted up quad with a hole in the muffler and broken parts. Salesperson took a phone call leaving us outside with a quad never to return! Absolutely no service at all.Got it running on our own and tested to have owner come out screaming at my 5 year old and her dad for trying it out..... Then in my husbands face name calling and chest bumping and trying to brawl. Are you serious?? Owner is a filthy name-calling indecent excuse for a human. Never...I repeat never go here. Not unless you want your family verbally and physically assaulted and your kid crying!! DISGUSTING!!!

BUYER BEWARE!!! DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALER!!!I drove 4 hrs to look at a 2010 Tracker bass boat that was, by verbal description, in showroom condition. 10 hrs on motor. The previous owner died of cancer and his wife had to sell.I found the boats condition to be less than show room to say the least. Although the boat was beautiful and at first glance was like new, there were 3 welded patches on the hull and a small amount of fresh oil evident on the lower transom. The boat had obviously been in an accident.I was willing to give Roy Sr. the benefit of the doubt. Maybe he didnt notice the patches and was duped himself by the previous owner. But after he proceeded to inform me these patches were common in the industry (probably where the transducer for the fish finder was rigged), It became apparent to me he was a liar and was trying to sell me an as new boat that clearly was not. I backed out of the sale and, fortunately got my $200 deposit back.I should have been suspicious from the start as his customer service skills were poor at best. He was very abrupt, condescending and frustrated with the questions I had about the boat and the process of purchasing a boat that could not be test driven (winter). I told him up front I had never purchased a boat. A normal person would have tried to be sympathetic and a little more tolerant to my concerns.Having said all of the above, his son, Roy Jr. (who I believe owns this part time company) was always helpful. I wonder if he is aware his dad has such poor ethics and morals.

I bought 5 sleds at same time from Philbricks this year. They were not new by any means but I Was told all had been gone through when brought there and had no major problems. Also one had a new top end. Also was told over the phone a service would be done on them for free before I would pick them up. Drove down to look at them and the sales man ( Roy Sr) told me that the service would not be free and would charge me $200 for each ( with a ton of attitude). Should have walked out, but my kids were there and all excited, so I Went on his word that there were no major problems with them and brought them home only to have sunk a lot of money into them and not to have had a new top end in the one sled. I thought it would be better to buy from a dealer you could trust instead of driving all over dealing with the public. I was wrong. Lesson learned. Thank you Roy & Roy for the disappointment and waste of my time. And if I could I would give you no stars because you don’t deserve even 1

Drove 2 hours to look at a $10000 machine. Pushed it outside and told not to cycle key while owner was not present as he left us there. Finally got to start it and told not to move it without handing over license and keys to the duramax ltz we arrived in. Ok but then he disappeared with license and keys to 50000 pickup while we moved unit around yard yet I could not cycle key without him there. Bad vibe. Never came back outside so grabbed my things and left.

Why I will never visit Philbrick Motors Sports Again –A little back history ~ I have followed their Facebook page and tend to look over their website to see what’s available. Recently I’ve been in search of a small ATV to pull a garden trailer and to use on our property. I found a Kawasaki listed on craigslist on the NH section and it said it was at Philbrick’s. So being friends with them on FB I messaged about it. I was told to call his dad about it, in which I did. I asked about the condition of the four wheeler just to be sarcastically, told didn’t you see all the pictures online. And I said well yes I did, but I just wanted your personal opinion of it. He said he was on the road and couldn’t help me, but if I needed to call back later he would go over every square inch of it. This again seemed very sarcastic like. “Right here I should have decided to stay away”However I decided to leave work early yesterday and make the hour trip there to check it out. When I arrived I went to the showroom only to be ignored for ten minutes well 2 employees discussed what they had available for ski guides and a track mat for a snowmobile trailer. I know you might be busy, but sales person 101 here, at least acknowledge my presence. I was the only customer in the building at the time as well. When I was asked if they could help I explained why I was there, and I told him I was there to see the Kawasaki 220, and he said do you know what model it is. And I said the bayou I think. I got send out back to a building and was told to find another employee who could show it to me. The other person opened up the building and I had to climb over several atvs just to get to it. They had no interest in showing it to me or offering to start it. They wanted me to make an offer and decision to buy it before they would pull it out. So I asked if I could make an offer as it was on consignment. I was told to go out front, and it could be as fast as a phone call or 1 week before I heard back. I went out front just to stand by a locked door as the other sales person was gone. I stood there for 10-15 minutes before I decided to walk around to the back. I found the guy looking at a sled on the back of a truck. Stood there for another 10 minutes before I was acknowledged. I told him I would like to make an offer, and offered $1,100 as there were asking $1,500. They called and the guy said no, which is fine. But they gave me no chance to counter and said nothing other than the guy said no. How about asking to meet in the middle, or talking about other options you may have. I had “CASH” in hand. I work in sales, and if I treated my customers like this I wouldn’t have a job.On a side note, I left a 1 Star Facebook review, just to be slandered about it and have him post a conversation that I had with him on Facebook when I said I didn’t find them helpful. Do you really want to work with a dealer that has no respect for your privacy or personal information?F.Y.I they also like to promote people to give them a 5 star rating on Facebook to offer up the chance to win things. Probably to try and cancel out the negative reviews.Worst experience at a power sports dealer!

Dont go for engine repairs... I went here on a recommendation when our generator wouldnt start. Long story short, they diagnosed it for $40 as no compression, and wanted hundreds of dollars to figure out why, and then fixing it would be added costs once they knew what was wrong with it. We took it elsewhere, where they diagnosed for a $25 fee and fixed it by replacing the spark plug.
