Food service but not easy to get to fro. Other towns on south shore.... their text service is fantastic
2009 BMW 328i - Did a service on 09/19/2020 and did not have a chance to open my hood till yesterday to fill the wiper fluid and noticed that I have parts broken off my Cabin Filter (yes cabin filter for German cars are outside near the hood) and also missing clips. When I got the car I did noticed my side fenders where scratched up and top of my roof top dented. Never again will I use this place as they are unprofessional and careless.
I recently got a small chip in my windshield and filled out a work order with safelite to make an appointment to get it fixed.Alicia showed up today 9/1 to fix the windshield. When she initially showed up in a JN Philips van, she was courteous. She put a mat down on the hood of my truck before putting her tool box down which I appreciated. Unfortunately the whole time she was on her phone and I ended up with scratches on the hood of my truck after she left. I was able to buff them out since this is a brand new truck. As I was driving later this evening I noticed a strange refraction on my windshield. There were scratches left from the razor blade used to remove the excess residue. This is very upsetting especially after already having to buff out the scratches left on my hood.I am not sure which company to contact about this problem because I am now unfortunately going to need a new windshield on a brand new truck. This incident makes me second guess using safelite again. I made the appointment with safelite, Alicia showed up in a JN Phillips van and my receipts says “giant glass”. If you could point me in the right direction that would be greatly appreciated.
Horrible Experience. I first contacted Safelite AutoGlass to repair a small crack in my windshield. A technician came to my home of August 30 and filled the crack. Within a week a noticed the crack expanded so I drove to the local Safelite shop in South Weymouth to get their feedback. I was told that since the crack was already filled, the windshield would need to be replaced.I made the appointment on September 10 and the replacement was scheduled for 8AM on September 20 since the glass needed to be ordered. I received email confirmations and a text reminder the morning of the appointment. I was told the work would take several hours so I made plans to be home for the day. My wife took the morning off from work for the drop off and pick up. We showed up just before 8:00 and I was told the windshield was not there. The office manager said he would look into to it but the work was not going to be done that day. I still have not heard from him. I cannot fathom that someone would not confirm the inventory before the day for scheduled work in order to avoid a situation like this.I contacted Geico to discuss alternative repair options and learned that I could have the work done at a local AllState Glass facility, which I will do. I will avoid Safelite AutoGlass in the future.
I booked the appointment online, arrived within 20 minutes and in less than an 1/2 hour later they had repaired a crack in my windshield so well that you honestly would never know there had been a crack before!!! So total time from booking to completion less than 1 hour! I also got blades installed and the whole job was so affordable that I was able to pay cash rather than going through insurance. Highly recommend these guys!!!
John was very pleasant to work with, very professional, on time
Awesome service, super fast, great staff, seamless integration with my insurance. 10/10 would recommend.
Went in for a bruise repair. Windshield cracked while doing the repair. They came to the house and replaced the windshield. After the windshield replacement, the rain sensing wipers didnt work. They took it in next day to check the issue. Part of the plastic didnt get removed correctly. Removed the plastic and I was on my way. They are quick and courteous. Just wish I hadnt had to go back.
Online scheduling and in person consultation are on 2 different frequencies.Go to an uncommercialized mom and pop business. More accurate.
Few years ago had a broken rear window the girl told me no one was available just put tap over it really I drove to Quincy with the glass falling all over the place look up your records
Fantastic professional service. And fast. Technicians are great!
Simple and easy and customer service 100%
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. NEVER SHOWED UP FOR 2 APPOINTMENTS.Had two different appointments they never showed up for. I had a roadtrip planned for Friday and an appointment on Monday. The appointment time was from 8 to 12. And no one showed up or called. Made a new appointment for Thursday and after 3 hours and 59 of waiting at 1150 10 minutes from the end of the application time i get a call saying my appointment is canceled. Called customer service and got no answers. 8 hours of waiting and my window is not fixed.
Hoping when I go back Monday morning they will give me my sunglasses back... COVID-19 and all I figured who would want my glasses that sit on my face but the guys at safelite got a free pair
I just left the Weymouth location.. Great customer service . Explained the repair to me as well as fast service.. Plus side every staff member had a mask on durring this time.. THANK YOU for great work,w will be returning customers...
Service was excellent and satisfactory.
They were on time schedule wise also very informative
Last night my passenger side window became stuck. I attempted to get a quote/make an appointment online, since the website says you can repair broken power windows. The website said a manager would call to get more information. He called this morning and told me that the window was either off the track or the regulator needed to be fixed. He advised that a regulator would take 5-7 business days to get, but that I should go to a store near me (that I wouldnt need an appointment) and have staff look at the window to determine which course of action to take. Upon arrival, we flagged down a worker, told him of our problem and were asked to leave the car for a couple hours because they already had a few cars. I left the car and walked home. Three hours later, I returned to check on the progress, and was met by a new worker who had never been informed of my car, my problem. He asked if I had spoken to Mike (perhaps the morning shift man), and told me that he saw a set of keys on the desk but didnt know where they went. So, a waste of three hours already. He came out and looked at the window, told me that the window was not off the track, and that I needed a new regulator. Then proceeded to contradict the man on the phone earlier, by telling me that they could not fix this, that they dont know what theyre doing when it comes to regulators, that I should find a mechanic. This whole situation was very annoying, and a complete waste of my time. If your employees cannot perform the services listed and described on your website, perhaps some new training is in order. The only saving grace was that the second employee offered to put wrap on my window to protect my car from impending rain.
If you care about your car, do not let Safelite touch it. They messed up the original installation by bringing after market glass that did not fit and tried to go a week without fixing it, after already disconnecting everything and taking my windshield off. When they came back to fix it I was told that my re-calibration would need to be done by the dealership and paid out of pocket, an expense that was NEVER pre-discussed with me...I was basically told by the reps that I spoke to on the phone that it was not their problem. They also chipped a section of the paint on my new car. Safelite refuses to take any responsibility and could not even respond to a complaint made on the BBB. On multiple occasions I requested a call from management, and I have not received one phone call from anyone to have a conversation about making this right. I will note that the technician who attempted my repair was nice, but that does not make up for the experience I have had with them.It has been about 6 months since this mess and now my windshield is cracked AGAIN after simply being sprayed with a hose lightly to clear pollen from the car. I trusted Safelite with my car and now I have had endless problems that they have washed their hands of, bad business practice and horrible customer service. They also removed this review from their website.
I usually have to get my windshield repaired because I drive around a large van for work. Cracked windshields due to rocks on the highway are a common occurrence. The people here are very friendly and easy to talk to. That being said their service and workmanship isn’t great. The windshield that they put in isn’t sealed properly. It leaks in air and is more audible when driving on the highway. I can see places where the seal isn’t complete. To top things off, I know that usually the wiper fluids get blocked after the replacement. I asked them to make sure that the lines are clear, they told me they were and I was all set. After 2 days(time for the windshield to settle) I tried using the wiper fluid and it was blocked and I had to unblock the lines myself.Overall good people but not good service.
Dave was great and very knowledgeable, even about everything under the hood in my car! He explained what he did and why, and went above and beyond to make sure the installation was perfect. The facility was clean and you have entertainment in the waiting room, TV. Highly recommend.👍
The service was quick and they repaired my cracked windshield hours after it happened!Thank you for a speedy fix
Was able to drop my car off the night before, super convenient. Wasn’t expecting my car to be done so fast and they vacuumed my car too. Good guys there!
Fast and efficient. Fixed crack so it was completely invisible in 1/2 hour.
Was given a quote over the phone of $242, was the best price.. I had called around.Day of installation they tell me it is $402, I did not have a written quote and a week later could not remember the exact quotes from all the places I called… just that Giant was the best price. Went ahead and did the service. After the fact it was bothering me… so I remembered I was texting my wife the prices from all the places I had received quotes from. $242… other places were around $260.I called them the day after, they said the original quote was a mistake… if did not include the adhesive. My car required a “special” adhesive. So I feel like a moron for paying the $402, but I also feel like I was duped by bait and switch pricing. The 242 and 402… they sounded familiar.Whatever, will never do business with this place ever again, and hope you think better of it.
They were professional and courteous. They replaced my damaged windshield and gave me care tips afterwards.
Had my windshield replaced, was in and out in an hour! Will be coming back!!
Great place excellent service.speedy service, confortable and pleasant place to wait😊
Absolutely great experience. Fast friendly and seem to be very proud of their work. Highly recommend
Not Happy... Giant Glass did my work. Not only did my glass replacement leak and have to be replaced again... the tech left my electrical system on in my car and it was dead upon leaving work...I had to have road side assistance come. And the kicker was that when I call to tell them the tech did this (so he doesnt do it again) the woman was so rude she asked me what do you want me to do about it, why are you calling to tell us. WOW Not the best customer service, not the best quality of service, and no direct line to call the place only Safelite with rude answering service people. Im not impressed and really deserve an apology for my trouble.
Good service
Customer wiring area is very small, seatings are not comfortable at all. No restrooms within the waiting area are provided! Other than that, the staffs are very friendly and helpful!
Came here for a Liberty Mutual glass claim. I came at the scheduled time and they were very prompt. The rep gave me an hr timeframe but I was out of there in about 35 mins! They did a great job and havent had any issues since the glass replacement.
My installer Julio did excellent work. Should keep it going.
Extremely unhappy with the service we received. First of all the replacement took 3+ hours. The technician left during our replacement because he had to help someone out. After completion of the replacement we now have a back window that squeaks non stop while driving, Im assuming because it was not replaced correctly. Our dashboard light saying Lift Gate Ajar is constantly on because it is not registering that the window is in correctly - this did not happen before getting our window replaced. Also, when we open and shut the lift gate, we can hear numerous pieces of glass rolling around inside our door because it was not removed. I have been trying to call to have someone come look at it and try again and I can not get a hold of anyone in the Weymouth location, or anywhere for that matter . The phone number listed here is not for this location, its just a generic Safelite number. And apparently the customer service department is also shut down when I call any of the number I find for safelite. I would give 0 stars if I could.
I had a broken drivers side door window that needed replacement. Dropped my car off sometime last week and they had it ready day after the drop off. Due to conflicting schedules, I could not pick it up till an additional day. I got there and the window appeared to be installed correctly however, they forgot the passenger side window down in the pouring rain. Not sure why they even rolled it down to begin with as it was the drivers side that needed work. My entire passenger seat was soaked and parts of the dashboard was wet. They also did a shody job with the cleanup. There were huge, easily visible, chunks of glass under and behind the damage site. Fast forward to a week after pickup, I hear a loud snap everytime I roll the window up or down. Almost like its about to explode which makes me wonder if it was installed correctly. I fear the glass is going to shatter while Im driving so I dont bother opening the window till I can go back there. I have used safelite before with no issues. Im wondering if its just the Weymouth MA location that needs improvement .
Dont let these guys work on your car, they caused major damaged to my vehicles door. had to brig it to a dealership and pay $500 deducible .
They did a great job. Even replaced my little velcros for my ez pass
Insurance setup me with Giant after Safelite failed. Giant called the next day and had me in the shop that same day. They ordered and installed OEM glass per my request. After everything was done the installer explained to me how the installation is done and the car is completely free of install damage. He insisted I scrutinize the work for defect. Everything looked perfect. Thanks guys!
Quick and easy, done within an hour.
Process was easy and job well done.
Service easily scheduled, on time, professional, job well done
Great service! They even vacuumed the car.
Fast service and great customer service
Service didn’t take to long and didn’t have to wait after showing up early.
Good work
They looked at my window and said they could not repair it but billed my insurance company $60 for doing no work.
Window is still leaking
Quick
