I highly recommend this place for any type of automotive repairs. I just moved here to Massachusetts and unfortunately do not have any where to work on my own vehicle. I chose this place based off of the reviews and was not disappointed. I have an Mitsubishi with over 200,000 miles on it and they took care of it as it was a new vehicle. They informed me of everything that was being done to my vehicle and there were no surprises. Not only did they treat me with the utmost professionalism, they offered me a military discount once they found out I was active military. To top it off they send you a postcard thanking you for your business a few days after the service. This is a must for all of your automotive needs.

I live in Metro West but was in the South Shore area for a family activity on a Saturday. When I had some time to kill, I thought about getting my tires on a minivan taken care of. After checking Google reviews, I stopped by Mass Tire & Auto Service. Man, that was such a great experience! Kevin checked my van and confirmed that I only need to have the front two replaced while keeping the back two. Unfortunately, he did not have the right tires in stock because of the odd-ball size of the tire. Here is what the great part came in. He printed out the model of the tires, and suggested me to go to a shop closer to my home for replacement. When I indicated that I would like to get them done on the same day, he offered to call the local shops to check on my behalf. No luck! Then he recommended another tire center closer to my home with the same business philosophy of customer first. Also, under my request, he checked one problem for me but refused to take any payment. Although I did not get the tires replaced on the spot, my heart was full of gratitude for Kevin and his team. This is superb customer service and one of my best experiences of visiting a auto shop. Scheduled an appointment to have 4 tires put in personal fleet vehicle . Showed up and within minutes the car was put in bay and they started working on it. Within time promised ( 1 hour) was finished. Great technicians and people to do business with. 5star facility..

Went in for an overall checkup to see what some squeaking was. I knew it was part of my brakes but not sure what I needed. Turns out that the cause was 2 different things and both minor. I was given the choice to wait and I did. This is not a shop that pressures women (especially young women) into getting work done on the car that is not necessary. So glad this isnt a shop that scams people. Will be going back.

Best auto repair place around. Been going for years. When my battery died on my ice cream truck, after AAA jumped it, and I drove straight to Mass Tire after calling - they said come down right away. Within an hour I had a brand new battery in my little truck. AND I bring my car there too...Great service, good good people, great work. Thank you Mass Tire!

My experience started with condescension and ended with being told to pay more when I went to get my car than I was told when they called to tell me my car was ready. They called to tell me my car was ready and I asked what I owed. The man on the phone told me what I owed and broke it down for me, this much for this service and this much for this service. I called back later to make sure this was the full price, labor and all and was assured that yes this was the final price. The next morning I go to pick up my car and was handed my bill, which was $300 higher than I was told. 🤔 I explained to them that I was told the price and this was not it. Two guys swearing they knew nothing of what I was talking about and of course it was neither of them. One of the men, the owner I believe, told me they had to do something else to the car and tried to explain the part to me and said someone should have called you about it. Yeah well they didnt. The issue was handled terribly and unprofessionally. I was asked on the phone if I wanted to pay now and I should have.

Yesterday I walked in to Mass Tire & Auto as a first time customer, today I am a customer for life. Kevin, Derek and the other members of staff were so friendly, professional and extremely honest. I had anticipated spending more than I did, but Kevin gave me different options to choose from and he made me feel valued as a customer. They are so efficient, they under promised and over delivered. Overall, just a brilliant experience and I dont say that lightly!

Not a great experience here car had to have an alignment done twice at this location and steering wheel still leans to the right and on the second time around they apparently needed to torch the vehicles adjusters on the underside in order to align it which is understandable in our area but didnt seem they did it with any care due to me bringing it to another shop with professionals at toyota a day later and they noticed the right axel had a tear and was leaking fluid and suggested this was just recent as the grease is fresh stay away from here if you have a car that needs a proper alignment as it seems to not be a strong suit for this shop

Ava at the front desk was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. i purchased 4 uniroyal tires and asked for a front end alignment. upon completion of my visit I was notified that i was missing a lugnut on my left rear wheel when they went to r&r the tire. When i took possession of my car i noticed that lugnut was not replaced. i asked about it and was told they would have to order one. YOU CANT TELL ME IN A TIRE SHOP THAT THERE WASNT A SPARE LUGNUT IN THE PLACE. i LEFT AND IMMEADIATELY WENT TO ADVANCE AUTO AND PURCHASED A LUGNUT for $3.999. and then I was told that these cars dont really need alignments, that they could only do the TOE on the front wheels, so why did i have to pay just to put the car on the alignment machine just to get a pretty printout This should have been made known to me before it went on the alignment machine. Knowing that info I would have opted out of the alignment procedure. this place was highly recommended by my regular mechanic from UNLIMITED AUTO . ( B.H. ) one last thing, I was a harley mechanic and if a bike needed a part I would find whatever part it needed before I let the bike leave the shop. So for a $4.00 part and an omission of information that would have save me approx $80.00. I will not be returning to this store for anything other than any of my warranty issues.Thank you David Cardoza

I’ve been to Mass Tire a few times now. Today, I dropped my car off to have them check out my brakes. They called me to let me know they were still in good shape and did not need to be serviced. I am so thankful with how honest they were. Any mechanic could easily have taken advantage of me and I am so appreciative that they did not. Would 100% recommend.

I used to go to the dealer but I always felt like I was being scammed. We used to live around the corner from Mass Tire and decided to give the local place a try. The staff at Mass Tire made all my car problems seem small and easily fixed. Not to mention, much less expensive than the dealer, every single time! They explain all your auto needs and never suggest things that you dont need. The staff has been there for ages. We moved a 1/2 hour away about 10 years ago and we still drive over to Mass Tire for our routine maintenance and all our auto needs. Kevin and his crew are the best!

We have a four month old and the heat in our only car stopped working. I called and spoke to Derek, who was so nice and understanding and said we could drop the car off (even though it was late in the day and they were closing soon) that afternoon and they’d take a look and get to fixing it first thing in the morning. The car needed two parts replaced and it’s not an easy car to deal with. Everyone we spoke with was professional and forthcoming. Our car was returned to us in great condition well within 24 hours. I moved to Weymouth about 4 years ago and stumbled on MA Tire when I needed new tires. They are professional, convenient, and honest. Despite having two relatively late model cars I will continue to use them for as much non warranty maintenance as possible. Far superior to any of my dealer experiences, and a much better value.

I was so pleased and actually a little shocked with how great the customer service was when I came in for a New set of tires. The employees were so kind, they offered me a loaner car to drive home to wait instead of waiting in the waiting room and when it was all finished they explained everything they did so that I could understand. They never pressured me or tried to up-sale. I will go back here for all future tire needs and would definitely recommend to others.

5 stars plus service. mass tire & auto service is a really true auto mechanical shop. I put 2 cans of tire sealer in my 2 tires myself and make my tires unbalance. car vibrates when driving. I have asked 2 shops and all said tires need to be replaced but my tires still have good amount tread. I am pleased to have mass tire to service my car. they didnt recommend to replace the tires instead unmount 2 tires and cleaned out sealer in side the tires, remount and balanced. in and out the shop in less 45 mins. Thank you!!!

I went a bit out of my way because these guys had an amazing rating online. I needed an inspection and thought they would tell me a bunch of things wrong to be fixed. That didn’t end up being the case. They ran through the inspection in no time and seemed to give me an honest assessment without trying to swindle me for more money or repairs. 100% would recommend! If possible I would rate Mass tire&Auto 💯 The most honest and efficient auto I have EVER experienced!My total service cost less than $300 but they lended me the a car for free for 2 days! I was suspicious and thought they would charge me a lot on the parts and labor instead but they keep the estimate quote exact what I pay for. I am satisfied that they dont try to make me pay as much as I can because my car is 2004 model and all other auto shop always asks me to replace the parts for at least $600 to $1200 without any guarantee. Mass tire&auto fix the exact problem and dont try to undervalue your car to make you have other things checked and replaced unnecessarily. Plus, again, you dont have to spend any buck on the loaned car when your car is being serviced (but of course you pay for the gas you use).In addition, the customer service is excellent and the office is super clean! 100% recommended!

I always rated them as best place in Weymouth town for all sorts of car services. But my recent experience has been not so promising. For similar work, within 2 months costing changed hugely. And a not so satisfying reasoning to back it up. I just hope whatever I got done stays good for it’s lifetime

First time I came here 8 months before for a flat tire repair, I was attended to promptly even though it was a walk-in and I was out in less than an hour.Since then I come here for my regular maintenance and oil change of both my cars. These guys are really professional & courteous and never overcharged me.

As usual, Mass Tire was excellent. My wifes Toyota Sequoia got a flat with an non-reparable gash in it, so we needed it replaced. Not only were they able to provide the new tire and install it quickly first thing in the morning, but because we had the very reasonably priced roadside assistance from buying tires there before, it cost about a third of what I was expecting to pay. Just like every other time for almost 20 years, these guys scheduled me quickly, did the work requested for a fair price, explained what they did, and pointed out anything they noticed that might need doing in the near future - all while being genuinely friendly... and returning my car as clean as when I gave it to them (unlike all too many auto dealers and service stations).Consider this: My car is still under the dealers warranty, but I chose to go to Mass Tire anyway. This is the nearest tire shop from my home. Whenever i had tire issues i go to them.They are always quick and do the work proficiently.

There are a bunch of good tire and auto shops around town but only one that I know of that you can trust. Honesty and integrity is what you get from Mass Tire.

These guys are terrific. They squeezed me in during a busy shift and gave me an inspection sticker in under 15 minutes!!! I was desperately seeking anyone since it seemed like systems were down across the state with the upgrade but these guys were wonderful. Im so appreciative of local places like this that really care.

I got four tires installed and a wheel alignment, and I couldnt be happier! When I called to set up an appointment, I spoke with Derek, who asked me some questions about my driving habits, and recommended some high quality tires (Michelin/Uniroyal Tiger Paws) at a reasonable price. He provided me options without upselling me, and even recommended against buying higher priced tires, since I do a lot local driving, and wouldnt reap the benefits of the pricier options. So these guys are honest! After dropping off my car in the morning, one of their guys, Gary, gave me a courtesy ride to the South Weymouth train station.I also want to note how friendly, knowledgeable, and professional the whole staff was before, during, and after the service. I called the next day with a couple of questions and spoke to Kevin, who was also super friendly!Mass Tire & Auto provides other services in addition to just tires. Its important to have a good local mechanic you can trust, and I will certainly be using this shop in the future!

He then resealed all 4 tires (whether they needed it or not)- there was no charge for this service. Have been coming here for years for stickers but started using mass Tires for maintenance past 3 years. I can only say that I have been saving a lot of money coming here instead of the dealers. love being able to schedule ppointents on line as I like to do things at night as they are closed. I had an issue with my Jeep and explained it to Kevin who immediately knew what the problem could be. With a 1200 mile trip coming up, I was hesitant, but I never had any issues since and the pricing was outstanding. I take both vehicles here. Their work is great, awesome pricing and outstanding explanation of issues, with no pressure . Very professional and honest is what keeps me coming back. I highly recommend Mass Tires.

After buying 4 Michelins and an alignment for a large SUV I own, I encountered severe wear on outside of all 4 tires. After a quick call to Kevin and drop off of the vehicle to diagnose the situation, Kevin took care of the problem.Kevin could only deduce that a one in a million malfunction of the alignment machine occurred when the tires were installed. He replaced all four tires and re-aligned the wheels at no charge. No questions asked! No pro-rating of tire wear. Nothing except taking care of his customer. He is to be commended and has a faithful customer for life.

Based on my phone call from Indiana, Mass Tire inspected a used Subaru station wagon offered for sale by a nearby dealer. From several phone conversations and a detailed work order sent to us, we were able to confidently make an informed offer which the dealer reluctantly accepted, for us a sign of an equitable bargain. Kevin and Dereks assessment changed our plan to fly east to drive the car west. The car will be trucked and repaired in Indiana. So the guys at Mass Tire were real help for an arms-length transaction featuring a number of pitfalls.

JOB WELL DONE. I HAD A FLAT TIRE AND ARRIVED W/O AN APPOINTMENT. THEY FIXED THE FLAT PROMPTLY AS WELL AS DOING AN OIL CHANGE THAT I REQUESTED.WHEN I GOT THE CAR BACK, NOT ONLY WAS THE DONUT BACK IN THE TRUNK, BUT WELL SECURED IN THE WHEEL WELL WHERE IT BELONGED. MUCH BETTER THAN JUST THROWN IN THE TRUNK AS MANY OTHER NATIONAL CHAINS HAVE DONE WHEN I GOT SERVICE THERE.
