I recently purchased an elliptical machine from the Gym Source. The store manager gave me a good education as to the merits of the various machines and I also thought the price of the product was attractive. The crew that came to assemble the machine were on time and efficient and I was impressed that one took a video of the other using the machine as proof that it was working. All in all, a positive experience.

I bought the Octane elliptical 37xi. Im very happy with my purchase. The salesman (James) was very professional and very knowledgeable. He went over the machine and showed me everything I needed to know. One of my main concerns was the height of the machine and getting it in my basement. he assured me there would not be a problem he even measured my height on the machine which worked out perfect. I would definitely recommend The Gym Source for all your exercise equipment.

The store carries a larger variety of treadmills than all of the other general sporting goods stores, and they are of higher quality. The guys there were extremely helpful, both over the phone, and then in person when we came by to select a model. Lastly - there are reasonable financing options (interest free) that make getting a better quality treadmill a possibility for someone like me, who cant easily drop a big check for a decent treadmill all at once. I would (and will) be going back here again for other home workout needs.

I recently had the pleasure of dealing with Andrew from Gym Source in White Plains and I cant say enough about his AMAZING costumer service from beginning to end .. he was welcoming, polite, patient, listened and was incredibly helpful answering all my questions and concerns (over weeks) of deciding on a pretty big investment (Octanes ZR8000).. an investment that was DEFINITELY worth EVERY single penny and one of the smoothest transactions ($) I have ever made. It has really been a game changer in many parts of my life and I have absolutely NO regrets. It was so nice to be able to go somewhere and actually try something before I committed to buying it. I have always found gyms to be a little intimidating (and dirty) and wanted to replace my treadmill at home for a piece of cardio equipment that I could actually use and enjoy. I was a little nervous walking into the Gym Source because Im not exactly a super athlete but it was not intimidating at all. They seem like they have a really great team there that arent pushy or rude and sincerely are there to help, which was truly refreshing to see and be a part of. If it wasnt for Andrews genuine kindness and all his time, Im pretty sure I would have talked myself out of this big investment .. and probably chose something that wasnt right for me and/or subpar.. the Zero Runners by Octane are incredible machines for runners that need a break from the pounding of pavement/treadmill or runners (like me) that have injuries and never thought they would be able to run again. I have absolutely NO pain using this and it has been the BEST purchase I have made in years, possibly EVER.. Thank you Gym Source BUT mostly, thank you SOOOO MUCH Andrew for all your time knowledge and patience in helping me make this life changing decision. I am not one who usually writes reviews but I couldnt be happier with my ZR8000 and my experience with Andrew at the Gym Source. This is a story about a sale that didnt happen. I went into the store looking for a treadmill for my wife. Andrew spent a good deal of time with me, patiently going over several options, their features, benefits of each, etc. I finally decided on a model, paid for it, and left very satisfied. However, when I presented a picture of the treadmill to my wife the next day (we had to delay delivery for a week or so), I was disappointed to learn that my wife really wanted a different piece of gym equipment, one that Gym Source does not sell. I sheepishly went back to the store, told Andrew my problem, and without a moments hesitation, he offered me a refund, no questions asked, and said he hoped to see my again in the future when the need for equipment arose. That kind of response is why I wanted to deal with a local merchant in the first place rather than dealing with an online store. I will definitely reach out to these guys again when the need arises.

I am very pleased with the purchases I made at Gym Source in White Plains, NY. Andrew was very helpful, no pressure. After shopping several locations and online, I decided Andrew and Gym Source was the best way to go. I purchased a Tuffstuff SXT-550 with the leg press attachment, and an AbCore machine to round out my home gym. Andrew advised of an upcoming opportunity for a discount and no interest financing, so I deferred the purchase for a few weeks, saving a whole lot of dough. The crew that came in to deliver and assemble the equipment was very competent, pleasant and professional.
