Great family friendly, neighborhood eatery with lots of seating inside and available tables outside. Awesome plant based menu (I had the Vegan Greek Salad with avocado which was delicious) and a nice variety of burgers, sandwiches, salads, soups, entrees, bakery and more. Morning breakfast is also amazing. Worth the stop!

Always a pleasure. Warm friendly staff and delicious entrees prove that their is still places like this, that provide a welcoming of unknown. I recommend the veggie burger and turtle mocha with a peanut butter cookie.
Great little cafe for breakfast or lunch. I enjoyed my eggs and sourdough toast. The guy who was with me had some big honking egg sandwich. Love the food. My chai latte was average.
The entree and bakery items are certainly very good at this place. However in the month following the COVID-19 period, I dont see the quick service I remember prior to COVID-19. Instead of waiting about 15 minutes for my dining-in experience, I waited 35 minutes for a simple menu item. There are other restaurants suffering this problem, so I guess this may be the new normal for a while.

The food is fine. The tables are quite close together for a pandemic without masks being required for socializing while waiting for food. A single-occupant bathroom (one each for male/female even though they are single-occupant only). This includes staff so if needed youll most likely have to wait.
Very nice staff and relaxing environment. Food was phenomenal and would be a wonderful place to study/work while enjoying a coffee and good food. They offer from traditional breakfast options to lunch sandwhiches w/ chips to small bakery goods and they have a separate vegetarian menu with plenty of options
Ordered the burger, took twice as long as the rest of the orders that came to our table. Burger was dry
Cannot sing enough praises to the owners (and whoever else is responsible) for adding some AMAZING new plant-based options. Were local and have enjoyed several meals there this week (my 4-year-old loves the organic simple soyman tofu). Thank you!!!
Good food & coffee
Really enjoy visiting this location to grab a beverage or an easy breakfast or lunch. From time to time Ill bring my laptop and spend an hour or two working while I sip tea or coffee. Service is always good and the food is tasty. They do got really busy around the lunch hour so plan accordingly
Horrible experience. Usually their sandwiches are very good and a very good portion. I ordered the veggie stack without sprouts and asked for a multigrain wrap instead of the bread. I recieved a tiny wrap the size of the palm of my hand filled with lettuce and tomatoe only. But still paid full price for a child sized meal wrap with nothing in it. What a joke
The coffee was good which was the only redeeming.ing quality if this place. Wish I would have just went across the street for bagles. I asked the woman working if she could cut the large cinnamon roll in half so my children could split it. Her reply was, huh? Cut it? You like want me to give you a knife or something?! I didnt think this was a bizarre request but apparently anything above and beyond ringing someone out was over her head. Her interactions with others in line was similar. She was just rude. The scone I got was super dry and not very flavorful. I overheard others saying their food was not very good too. Again, the coffee was good.....thats it. Would not go again!

Nice neighborhood corner eatery. Good quality semi-fast food with good service and food selection. No parking lot but ample street parking near by. Located near many other stores. Has outdoor seating.
I love everything about this place except the prices. I think its quite pricy. But the food truly is fantastic. My favorite is their cinnamon rolls. Theyre exquisite.

Was treated to brunch here 2-10-15 while on a visit to family in the area. Found a wide variety of options on the menu and could not easily decide which items to order. Even thought of suggesting that a sampler platter of some sort be offered in the future. Very much enjoyed my vegetarian selection and a yummy hot chocolate along with a surprise bonus cookie of my choice. Baked goods in the display case looked lovely. Staff was gracious and solicitous.

The food there is great and usually I like the service too but when I went today I ordered the tri roasted potatoβs and asked if they could add extra sweet potatoes. The lady at the cashier replied in a rude tone and was very disrespectful, acting as though I had asked for something unreasonable. She told me βNo. You canβt do that.β I understand if they could not do something but that does not give them the right to be rude to a customer. Also once I had ordered it took almost 10 minutes to get my food when I had only ordered a side of potatoes and I was the only one in there. However, despite this experience I have had mostly positive encounters with the Whitefish Bay city market.

Always have great food here. I love that I can grab lunch and a latte together. The lattes are consistently excellent, hot or cold. Their staff is very nice at this location too.
Love City Market - go here often for breakfast, but their kitchen is highly inconsistent. My daughter gets a sandwich with ham, mustard and tomato and cucumber, and the amount is each is different every time. Some times there is one piece of ham, sometimes a couple of pieces. This morning there was a tiny amount of mustard - someone just wrote their initial G. I wish there was a bit more consistency, because, in general, love their food.

We stop here a lot. Its a good place to meet people, to talk and enjoy some good food and good coffee. The staff here are quite friendly. The desserts are unbelievably fancy and tasty.
They have some of the best bakery and salads I have ever had. Good service and pretty darn good selection of coffee too. Try the cinnamon rolls.

Ive come here a few times in the last 2.5 years and its been the same below average food every time. The customer service is okay but that doesnt make up for the food. I ordered the french toast and it came out half done and slightly wet from the batter. I came just as breakfast was ending (15 mins too) so instead of replacing my order they just gave me my money back. I was definitely disappointed
I use to enjoy stopping there to pick up coffee and a muffin. Unfortunately, the coffee is often cold or the brew you would like is empty, and the muffins are stale.

Excellent coffee and desserts!My wife and I usually split a sandwich when we come here.Its a bit unusual in that you have to tell them a table number where you would like to sit when you go up to the counter to order, and you may not have had a chance to look to see what tables are available, or what number your table might be.
I stopped by yesterday for lunch and ordered the creamy French onion soup. I can honestly say that I have never had a better bowl of French onion anywhere, or really a better bowl of any flavor soup. I will definitely stop by again!

Very good food, WiFi is weak towards the back. We went to this location to finish work and it didnβt go as well. Street parking for a fee or thereβs a lot across the street for free. Also not a lot of wall outlets for charging laptop or any device.

Ordered a breakfast classic with fruit side and a croissant. My eggs were cold, the fruit was pineapple and mostly cantaloupe. They toasted my croissant! It removed all the buttery goodness and turned it into a flat tough bread. The only saving grace was the premade sausage patties. The person I dined with ordered a breakfast burrito. She said it was bland, totally flavorless. On a positive note the Americano was spot on.

We found ourselves in Shorewood and I owed my wife a chickie lunch. The place physically was above average. The service was fine. The food gets an avove average ration from me. I live in Western Waukesha county and rarely get to Shorewood. The one thing that stood out in a big way was that the majority of the lunch time crowd were very physically fit.Something I am not and do not see as much of fit people where I hang out. Congrats to Shorewood. Dont worries Im not planning a move there.
