Excellent young lady took real good care of me as a male not to easy asking for certain types of stuff but she knew what I wanted showed me a couple pf different electric face brushes and cleansers I was comfortable and happy with my purchase. Sephora used to be my crack den. Id go in and easily drop $200 in 15 minutes, so I had to put the kibosh on that, even though I dont do drugs or drink or gamble. It was a problem, so I swore off Sephora for years and years. But Ulta.... I really love Ulta, because you can buy some great things for less than ten bucks. Less than $5, even. Today I went in to find The Ordinary Marine serum, but of course they didnt have it. They had a lot of The Ordinary, though. Instead I picked up the new NYX XXL lipstick and several other goodies. They even accepted my paper Covergirl coupon, and I had a $3 reward I didnt know about. My only complaint is the Clearance stickers I saw on a lot of shelves, for items that were regular-priced. W U T ??? No, Im not talking about the clearance sections. Im talking about the normal shelves with the white clearance stickers covering the regular tags, but the prices are the same. I know Im slow but come on. I got out of here spending less than $40 so YAY.

The store is beautiful, and well stocked, unfortunately the employees arent very knowledgeable about the products sold in the store. They were able to guide me to the best sellers but nothing beyond that. I asked what the difference was between some very simple products and I didnt get more than, Oh theyre good products I rephrased my question and asked what is the purpose of the very specific ingredients? She says They do the same thing???. I then told her the concerns I had and if she could guide me to find products that would help my issues. She was not able to help. She was truly clueless. I thanked her for her help and asked for a different product in another category of the store where there was another clueless person not knowing anything about the products in her area of the store. I thanked her and walked back to the first area where I still stood with alot of questions and luckily a CUSTOMER that was very knowledgeable was able to help me. Since leaving the store I have looked up the information I was given and the customer that helped me was correct in all her guidance as to the products I should use and the benefits to me personally. All this to say, they need to hire people that know the products and can guide customers to feel confident making purchases upon their knowledge.

Ive had descent experiences here in the past but they yelled at me across the store in front of other customers to put my mask on when there was no visible sign outside that said theyre *still* requiring masks.When I got up to the register I was told to pull it up even though it was covering my nose. They shouldnt be enforcing masks anymore and especially not yelling across the store.A few weeks ago I was helped by a really kind employee who made a really good recommendation. However this last trip there was no one around to help when I had questions. The lashes were really unorganized and nothing was in the right spot.Dont love how I had to squat for 10 minutes looking for the right lashes while everyone in the checkout line had to walk around me and ask me if I was going to move lolOverall I enjoy coming here. Usually very clean and organized and well stocked, so this last trip was a random bad day for them.

I needed concealer and with so many options to choose from, I was not sure where to start. Matthew appeared out of thin air. He asked a few questions and within minutes I had what I came in for. I called the store to get his name because I wanted his assistance with picking a foundation. Out of luck, Matthew answered the phone and remembered helping me. He let me know hed be working Saturday, and hed be happy to assist. Great service. Thank you Matthew!

The folks here at Ulta really helped me. I came in and both my make up and hair were a mess. I’d gone someplace for new foundation and a haircut and neither worked. The people here at this Ulta were very accommodating and took the time to find me just the right make up, listening to me about my needs and what I was looking for. They didn’t rush me. The stylist at the salon, Tamar, was wonderful! She fixed my bad hair cut quickly and expertly! She was friendly to talk to also. I couldn’t be happier. I wish I had gone to this place in the beginning. But I found them now and I am a happy customer who will be returning for my both my hair care and my makeup needs.

As you walk in your always greeted by the ladies in the front. They make you feel welcomed & are ready to assist you with your questions & erase all the doubts that linger in your mind. I always leave HAPPY & content. At times the store does run out off what I am looking for, but they offer to order it online which is GREAT.

Decided to edit my review as of today. Im probably done shopping at Ulta for good.I went into Ulta today to return a pickup order that didnt work for me. Keep in mind I havent shopped at Ulta in forever due to the pandemic. When I went to return my items I was told that my order number wasnt coming up in the system and after they called the manager he informed me that all they could do was give me store credit or I would have to wait until tomorrow and come back so that they could process my request.Even though I dont shop at Ulta often this has happened to me more than once. Im told that the transaction has not processed yet or something like that and I have to come back the next day or later on and try to return the items. Sometimes the manager will figure it out but the girl that used to help me with this issue does not appear to work there anymore.After about 15 minutes I just told him I would come back. I was pretty mad when I got home and decided I would call Ulta customer service to vent. Literally within a few minutes the customer service rep pulled up my order number and issued a refund . I could not believe it! I just kept talking to her because I had no idea how she was able to pull up the transaction number and issue a refund within minutes when I had been at the store for 15 minutes and the two people that helped me couldnt do anything.Needless to say I think Im done with Ulta for good and I told her as much. I feel really bad because this location is super close to me and the staff is really nice but honestly this has happened regularly and they didnt even have the items I wanted to begin with. Hope they can figure out this issue.

I had the best experience there all thanks Kenia at the register! This place is a lot smaller than the la habra one but still has a good selection. Sad to say but for Ulta, always check expiration dates and see if the product hasnt been used.

This store is amazing! everyone is very nice and professional! I went to get my hair done by Tatiana she did an amazing job! She is very knowledgeable and informative about what she is doing! Every step of the way she explained to me what she was doing to my hair and the benefits. My hair was very dark and past my mid back. we did a balayage hair color, shoulder length cut and it came out perfect! She was very honest and did my hair beyond my expectations! I will definitely be going back to her and referring my friends and family to her! Keep up the good work girl!

Wow! I just got EXACTLY what I asked for from Linda Rodriguez, for a red semi-gloss which is usually one of the trickier colors to go. The color came out identical to the photos I showed her in my Pinterest - amazing really amazing job. If you’re considering going red, really look no further!

Personally I love the mens cologne selection here. This place has turned me on to a few mens colognes which are now staples in my collection: Yves Saint Laurent LHomme, Armani Code, and Coach For Men. Amazing! My fiancee also gets her hair done here sometimes, as they often have last-minute availability when other salons nearer to our home in Norwalk are all booked up, and they manage to get her colored and cut in a fairly reasonable amount of time compared to other salons.

I went on Black Friday after getting most of my shopping done. I only needed a few more presents so I went in and asked what items were the most popular.... the girl looked at me as if I should know and said we have no deals or best sellers. After that she walked away and so did I. It wasn’t busy at all which made it worse 🤷‍♀️

Every time I go they are always so nice! They always answer my questions and give me tips on makeup. Today the lady that helped me out was amazing and honored my coupon with no problem even though I never asked for it she was so nice to understand my situation. I had a similar experience as Cynthia. The security guard followed me around the store while I was taking my time looking at different products. The employees over head paged, “ check all security cameras”. I figured they were talking about me because the security was a male and did not look like he used Ulta beauty products at all. He could of at least held my shopping bag or helped me choose the right mascara. When I was paying for my products, an employee, very loudly, told the security guard and the cashiers that the police were on their way. They were not talking directly to me so I’m assuming that they were talking about another customer. Either way the employees and the security were very unprofessional, “messy/gossiping”, and need customer service training. I felt DISCRIMINATED against and that is breaking the law! This is a very unprofessional location and they do not deserve any of my future business. I will spent my money at Sephora instead.

Worst customer service. Employees dont even acknowledge you. They dont try to help you. I was there for over an hour and there was 2 girls just taking to each other. I wish they would just pay more attention to their customers instead of just gossiping to each other.

My mom tried to get a haircut from the ulta in Whittier. She was so excited to finally get a new haircut and new look. So she went to the place to get it cut, the guy named Anthony, was supposed to cut her hair. My mom wanted to get her hair cut short and then Anthony went on a 10 minute rant basically saying why fat people shouldnt get short hair. Then after all that he basically offered her a pity haircut. My mom went from super excited about today to so very upset. I believe that this was very unprofessional and not someone I would want near my mom or anyone that I know. This made me and my sister very upset and would repel us from shopping at the Whittier store again.

Second time at this Ulta. Both times waiting in long much too long. The gals working the registers talk to each other way too much. Both times line to pay, was way down the aisle moving very very slowly.

Absolutely incredible service! Vanessa the manager helped us for an hour during a rush and helped other customers as well. They truly care about their customers and helped us even find alternatives yet let us decide if we wanted them or not. Which we did.

Very rude, my mother went with me and when she asked one of the employees something they blew her off and acted as if she shouldnt be there. I usually dont care if someone is rude to me but it really bothered me that they treated my mom that way.

Finally had the opportunity to visit this location and was excited after reading/hearing all the great reviews. Needless to say, they did not live up to the hype. Store wasnt too busy seeing as some of the staff were bsing behind the counters. I was there for almost 20 mins with absolutely no help and or acknowledgement. I left and went to spend my money at the La Habra location. They know what good customer service is. Dont bother with this location if you actually need anything.

The employees look like teens unexperienced with anything from the store products so i gotta keep questions to myself, i guess cause some look like newbies.. And somewhat friendly.. I am so happy I went to the ULTA in Whittier. Compared to my experience in Cerritos I am so so pleased here. I just only i wished my first experience was at Whittier and not Cerritos. Amanda was an absolute 💎. She heloed me get the right color right primer to go with the foundations and gave me so many knowledgeable options. Amanda definitely knew what she was talking about! To all ULTA shoppers I highly recommend you shop at Whittier ULTA and if you dont leave near here please take the drive it is so worth it! This place is amazing! Staff is extremely helpful and friendly! Whittier ULTA you just gained a lifetime customer!

Nobody has better deals than Ulta, Ive been to Sephora across the street at Jcpenny and literally nothing compares to ulta, I love the rewards program ulta has I always get great deals and good coupons I can use plus a free gift for my birthday! They have almost everything you could ask for! Definitely a store ill be visiting frequently!
