My local market good for household staples. Using their app and 5$ Fridays the 5 for 5 deals are great money savers. Meat and produce is fair but way overpriced.

Pharmacy has a great private consultation room for vaccines similar to an exam instead of being out in the open which is the case at other places.

Ive had to rely on this stores delivery service for few months now since recovering from ankle surgery and they dont disappoint. Tried instacart service and was disappointed every time. Will stick with vons delivery as long as i need it. Great service that has their own employees pulling orders and getting all my groceries right whenever possible. Great always a little confusing but not too bad for the people who are patient.

I really was disappointed in Vons Whittier. I had been looking for fish. Dover sole. I can’t find it anywhere. I was told by my sister that Vons could order it so I called. The man who answered said they he could order it and that the next shipment would come in the next day and I could pick it up at noon. I went and they had no clue about what I wanted. I called again and spoke to Andrew at the meat department. He said that he was not aware of any order. He said he would look into ordering my fish and call me back either way. Well that was two days ago.I just wanted to know if they could order it. They could have let me know yes or no. Lacking on customer service. I won’t call again. I won’t shop at that particular store.

I come out to visit in whittier occasionally, the employees have always been great to me Frank is a good guy, and great manager. Dena is very nice and helpful, and the younger girls (sorry i didnt catch names) are also very polite and working hard.

This is, by far, the best grocery store for quality products. I love their bakery (the in-house bagels are great!) and deli, and their produce is exceptional. I highly recommend it for your grocery needs!

Nice store. The employees were all nice and helpful. I told them Im not from the area (Im from Northern California) and they welcomed me and assisted me with my shopping needs. Thank you to the meat department. They were helpful and knowledgeable about the meat proportions. They cut the right amount chuck blade that I needed for my dinner. Also, I want to thank the guy who made my Starbucks drink. He was friendly and made my drink perfect. Vons you rock!

Something is very off !!! Some of their bread and produce are rotten every time I shop there !!!! Their meats are horrible .... In front of the market there are many homeless people at the vons in Hacienda Heights Ca !! Vons management dont address this situation !!! I no longer shop there .......

Its your typical Vons Market, nothing special or out of the ordinary. Shelves are typically well stocked and the store is clean. Most people working there are helpful and are friendly. Its main advantage is it is a little less busy than other markets in the area because it is at the back of the mall.

Always have what I need. My local goto store.

I hardly ever come here because of the terrible customer service but was working out and needed bday items quick. Consistent. I got verbally reprimanded by Patti the cashier bc I was not social distancing I was far enough away. Ive been grocery shopping for over a year now during COVID I know how to keep my distance. The guy in front of me was like I dont care. Patti is just one of those employees who gets her jollies off of being bossy. Nobody likes being scolded in public when ur doing nothing wrong.

Was very disappointed by the young lady who was the Checker very rude. And had no clue about their ad. Although the manager was very nice.

Nice Grocery store with a Starbucks inside. Good prices and items to choose from. Clean, wear your mask and social distance.

Went in for my first covid vaccine and the pharmacist was so great, that I didnt even feel the needle go into my arm..

First time planning a pick up order. They were an hour beyond the pick up time. They only have two parking spots with signs and the day I went there were probably 6 cars waiting for their orders. My advice is so not use the service if youre in a hurry nor shop on weekends. Very popular service.

I have been a loyal Vons customer for thirty plus years. For more than eight months I have been using weekly curbside pickup. In all these weeks, It is considerably rare not to have damaged fruit, vegetables or missing items.On numerous occasions I requested that the bags to be loaded light. That request was never honored. Recently my orders have been two to five hours late.I have reported the poor service several times to customer service but no one seems to care. They did not seem to want my business. From now on I will do my shopping elsewhere.

The Vons grocery store in Whittier is a really great place to get your produce, canned and dry goods. The aisles are well stocked and clean.

I am giving it 5 stars because it was calm in the store. People were friendly and very helpful. It was a good feeling of normalcy. I actually found what I was looking for. Eggs and rice a very normal and basic need and I found them. My family and I were looking for those 2 items all weekend. Parking was good not over crowded. Oh, it was after 10:00am so, not so early. I dont understand how its Vons fault for not having certain items because of panic shoppers. Might as well mark down every business for not having the essentials. As far as answering the phones, they have a website that updates all the time to keep the public aware of store hours.This Vons store has a very friendly staff and well kept store. I remember the good times at Vons when my family and I used to walk over from our nearest house at Ravello Townhouses in the Whittwood Mall where we used to live for 9 years.

The people were really nice. Manager was in front aisle and very helpful. Went there about 9pm on may 27

Juans is nice. Keep it clean. Most people Ive met their that work there are friendly. But not all. As I said if theres no other grocery store near that is a good grocery store. Well Go by the store and try it. You may like it better than I did. Norwalk Raider out

It took about 15 minutes for someone to help me in the butcher department but with the limited selection of grocery stores that offer lobster, shrimp and quality beef, Vons came in clutch.

Vons is great and the market has gotten bigger over the years since I havent shopped here forever. Today I was like a kid in the candy store and had forgotten how much I had loved shopping here. There are so many products to choose from and the prices still beat other markets to which I shop at frequently. Plus there are products you wouldnt find in other markets as well. I definitely shopping here again especially for the holidays. Oh and I do recommend becoming a Vons member it really saved me a whole lot of money today and it left me feeling happy and you will be happy to with the savings as well. Just dont take my word for it and go see for yourself honestly you wont be disappointed.

This is my favorite store. I can always find what I need. I would like them to stock the larger size of the coconut sweet creamer! I have been hearing about the bad elements that have been hanging around there. It would be nice if there was more security around....even during the day. It seems it is everywhere and all the time. Thank you!

I LOVE IT! Everyone is so helpful and friendly and they always have what I am looking for. I am new to the area and since I moved Ive missed shopping at Safeway and one day I was told about Vons and decided to go see it for myself. LOW AND BEHOLD, ITS JUST LIKE SAFEWAY! Finally, can fufill my chicken noodle soup craving!! Beware the prices though, they can be a bit higher than other places.

Vons &Abertsons are both great stores, they have all that a person could ever need. Pricey but great store.

Has anyone ever heard of pork wings? Decided to go to this Vons market to buy wings from their deli. Only to find out they will not give me the lbs or flavor of wings that I was asking. Asked for 4lbs of wings and was told I could only get what was in the display case. I said I would wait. Was told it would be a while and I said Id wait. Then asked for 3lbs of mango habanero Wings to be told they are BBQ pork wings. I asked her to repeat that again. She said yes pork wings. I said Ill just take 7lbs of hot wings. She said Id have to wait. I said thats fine. She bagged up what she had left of hot wings and asked if I needed anything else. I said theres only 3½lbs here. I need 7lbs. She said yeah anything else. I said just the wings. She stood there and didnt move. I said my wings please. She said yeah I gave them to you. By then I was done. I asked if it was because the wings were part of the 5 Dollar Friday special was why she was refusing to make or sell me more than 3½lbs.Very poor service.

Very clean as usual but gotta say still over priced in my opinion. I only make emergency stops there.

When I approached the store an employee gave me a newly wiped down cart, and I found all my groceries on my list. Something new to me was the directional arrows on the floor in the aisles, which some shoppers did not follow, but it wasn’t packed in the aisles, so it wasn’t that big of a deal. The cashier, Dena, wiped down the conveyer belt before I put my stuff on, and even though it was busy, she thanked me for making a donation and gave me my monopoly tickets with a friendly tone and manner. The cashier and bagger both wore masks and gloves, and all my stuff was bagged properly and efficiently. I appreciate the fact that employees were cleaning everywhere, and there were employees on hand to help customers find things. Overall, it was an extremely stress free outing. Thank you guys for working so hard to accommodate us and making a potentially nerve wracking experience a pleasant one.
