Renting experience was okay as it took a long time to checkout and on top of that they didnt have the dolly we booked for and we had to buy our own in the Home Depot store. The truck was pretty good in terms of cleanliness, smooth drive and mileage. Return to the one way destination was a hassle too as it wasnt clear where to return the vehicle. Gave four stars because it was a last minute plan and things worked out well. Will definitely go to Penske again but will plan ahead nicely though.

My family and I were moving locally and we chose penske for our truck rental. Chris was fantastic to deal with staying late to accommodate me when he didnt have to. The truck itself was in great shape and ran better than any others I have used in the past. Next time i need a truck to move stuff i would go back to Penske hands down!

Picked up a truck on Saturday. Girl who helped me was great. Showed me where I could put my car for the night drop, got me fuel up and on the road fast. When the trip was over bill was less then originally quoted. Great job, next time we need a truck it will be from Penske again.

Great place to rent a clean,new truck. Even with the issue if a flat tire there 24/7 team step in and charged the tire quickly.

After having a booking with Uhaul that really inconvienced me on a pick up location I called Penske frantic! Kristin was so amazingly helpful after I explained my situation, and had a booking for me that day with the flat rate of where I was going, to m6 drop off location. Moments after arriving at Penske (in wilkes-Barre, PA) on our rental truck pickup date, I felt incredibly regretful of our decision to book with them. Though the staff seemed moderately nice, they were incredibly unprofessional and disorganized. The first 2 trucks had issues with the Anti-lock brake system. The 3rd truck appeared to operate properly, however, we were promised a brand new trailer upon booking, but never actually received it. Instead, they gave us an old trailer sitting amongst the new ones. The tires on the towing trailer were worn out and we had a tire blowout nearly 300 miles into our cross-country trip. When the service company arrived to change the tire, we noticed the brake pad for the tire rotor was missing, along with other minor damages to the trailer. This only adds to the absurd list of other damages we noticed before our departure - such as multiple exterior damages to the truck, including cracks on the windshield that were “supposedly” filled/repaired ( they are not), loose tools left on top of the cab and windshield, along with a missing pin on the trailer jack - all of which would have went unnoticed and could have caused serious HARM to myself, my family, and other drivers further down the road.This company is NOT safe, nor are they trustworthy. Please don’t risk your life, choose a company that cares about your safety and the quality of their product & service.

Leased truck from here so far all issues that I have with truck have been taking care of in a very timely way.If truck was going to be down they arranged truck to use.

THE WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD.On the night of the 4th of July, 2018 a buddy crashed his motorcycle.The following morning I called Penske to rent a 16 moving truck to get the other two bikes back to Michigan.The sales guy I talked to sold me the world, to get me to rent the truck.I needed help loading 2 other Harleys on the truck & when I asked him if I rented the truck, could he get some other guys from inside the shop to help me load them.?He said Yea, No problem I should be able to find a few guys to help you load the bikes into the truck.So then I said Ill be back because, first I had to go to Home Depot to buy some tie down straps.Once I returned, he charged my credit card & let me sign for the truck before he let some little peanut head guy inform me that is was against company policy to have company employees load or even handle the cargo.I was already in such a bad situation with trying to load to full size Harleys into the truck with only two females that were left with me to help, because the other guy with us crashed his bike & was in the emergency room at the local hospital.Thanks alot Penske office personal, thats great customer service.

Staff is very ignorant and very unprofessional .they yell at younger employees in front of customers.it was truly a horrible experience and will never recommend them at all .the employees slander other peaple and make fun of them behind there back .these adult employees need to grow up and learn the truth about them be fore they open there big mouths .also breaking into employees cars and slander is a crimi aloffence last time I checked .pretty sad .grow up your day will come
