We visited this bookstore yesterday, as we have regularly for years. We have lived in Yorktown for 3 0 years and have always enjoyed taking out of town visitors to Williamsburg and always made a stop at the am and Mary bookstore. Yesterday was a total embarrassment because of the rude treatment our guests received. Since masks are no longer required for people who have been vaccinated, according to the president and governor, we weren’t wearing masks. When we entered without masks, the sales person asked if we had masks and we said “no”.The young lady said abruptly, Then you will have to leave”She then pointed to the door and escorted us out. We told her she didn’t need to escort us and she indicated she DID .We was MOST INHOSPITABLE! We will not return!.

We found this shop located in Colonial Williamsburg. The store is big and filled with William and Mary appearl and souvenirs. Too be honest I would say that some of the clothing line was a little high priced, but on the other hand if you were able to attend this college you can afford the gear. Future alumni, students and grads should all feel at home here.

A family tradition to stop here when in Williamsburg, have been coming here for 20 yrs since it was a B & N bookstore. Nice selection of books and W &M gear, a bit overpriced and clearance items way over priced but great selection. My boys were a little fearful of the employee in the full respirator and face shield, thought he was auditioning for a job in a Level 4 lab. A little ridiculous for a county with a less than 2% prevalence rate. But over all a great little place to pick up a book or W & M gear.

So pleasant to visit and good parking. Love their historical selection. Their art supplies could be better in my opinion, of course. Last week they were out of ice for a few days in their cafe. What gives with that? You cant run out and buy some bags? It just puzzled me greatly.

Its a bookstore, kinda. Its really a place for W&M to sell their apparel. As an aside, W&M has very strict logo rules, and the only place you can buy things with their logo on it is here and around the corner at the Campus Shop. So if you want school apparel, you need to come to these two places. Its clear the primary drive of this place is to move W&M logo-stamped stuff. If you are looking for a real bookstore, go to mermaid books around the corner. And if you are looking for apparel, go to the campus shop around the same corner (its cheaper, by a lot).Everything in here is a little over-priced, and it just feels like the gift-shop arm of W&M. Pros: It has a nice coffee/cafe area upstairs which is offers a respite from hot VA summer days, or wintery walks around Colonial Williamsburg.Youll probably end up in this place eventually, but if you never walked in here, you wouldnt be missing much.

Its a Barnes and Noble, but still very enjoyable. If I lived here, the W & M bookstore is where Id come! As a gold member, I was rather disappointed.

This is a nicely-stocked B&N in a great location. Upon entering, the William and Mary branded items are front and center. The rest of the store functions as a regular bookstore. The books are well laid out, and theres a coffee shop upstairs. We happened to visit on the night when some musicians were holding an Irish seisun, which made for a lovely vibe.

Beautiful store, surrounded by a safe environment for all ages. Went here on my 2018 DC/VA school trip! The employees were very patient with us 8th graders & 9th graders who were on used to taxes. I was a little shocked when my Starbucks was more $$$ than advertised. Thankfully, they were patient as I fumbled out the extra $1.05. I loved the sweatshirts and caps, kicking myself for not bringing my purse off the tour bus with me!

A very expansive college bookstore just chock full of general interest books of all genres, Apple products, writing materials, W&M logo wear, etc. An upstairs coffee shop makes for a good place to eddy out of the hubbub of Colonial Williamsburg especially since the store is located right at the gateway of the historic area at Duke of Gloucester St and No Henry St. Parking is tight but chances are good you can snare a spot at the public parking garage just a short walk away.

Great bookstore, wonderful selection. Just wish theyd have registers open at both ends of the building. Seems they only keep the register open at the furthest away location from where this old fart is shopping. They have two people sitting at that register but at the end of the bldg. Im at the register is closed. After wandering around Williamsburg in 90+ weather thats a tough sell to walk all the way down there! 😅
