I went into the store on 08/08 to purchase a wedding band for my fiancé for our upcoming wedding on Aug 28. No other customers were in the store when I walked in but there were 4-5 store associates and not 1 of them came to assist me. Even if I was there to “window shop”, you would think someone would’ve came to ask did I need help with anything but no, nothing at all. After about 2-3 minutes, someone finally said “hello” and even then I had to ask where the item I was looking for was located. I love Kay jewelers as a store but this location will NEVER get a penny of my money. I went to the location in Patrick Henry mall and the associates there were superb and everything a customer would want to experience while shopping! Every associate that was working today between 1:30-1:45 definitely need a refresher on customer service.

Sales staff was fantastic and not pushy at all. They listened to what we were looking for and gave great suggestions and even though we didnt purchase today, the way we were treated puts them at the top of our list of retailers for our future purchase.

Be careful about giving them to much info and make shore you read what you are signing because the store manager is not very straight forward in how she word things. I went in to have a necklace cleaned and find out how much it would cost to have a eye hock replaced. She talked me into signing up for a membership card that was free and offered discounts. She did not tell me i was signing up for a credit card or a loan application. I should have known to start reading what i was signing when she started to ask for my SS number but i was in a hurry and wasnt thanking clearly. Lest than a week later i go to check my credit report and it showed up as a inquire. I went in to talk to the manager about the situation and all she said she couldnt do anything about it. My point is that why would i wont a credit card from you when i never even asked you about buying anything. All she could say is sorry. Sorry doesnt fix the fact that it shows up on my credit report. I just feel as if this was very dishonest and i will not be buying anything thing from them in the feature. Lesson learned read everything before you sign it.
