I just love the salon, I’ve had my hair colored One way or another forever and my hair has never been healthier and the color takes forever to fade! I believe it’s because of the natural products that they use, it’s an amazing difference natural organic products can make! I happen to see Ian at the salon, but I have seen the other stylists work and it’s all really great! If you haven’t tried this place yet you really should you can thank me later!

Im new to the area so Im not biased. One of the worst salons I have been to in years. Terrible experience with my stylist literally talking on the phone while doing my hair which lead to her burning my scalp accidentally with very little in the way of a apology. Im reporting this salon to the BBB. Unprofessional and should be closed down.

This place has to be good. My wife will drive almost an hour to go there! One time, she didnt even have her car, so she spent the money on an Uber to get there! So you know it has to be worth it!

I now go here for my pedicures all the time. They have amazing staff here. All the ladies know my daughter and I and always take good care of us. I take my daughter here for the mommy and me pedicures all the time. We love it. Its affordable, everyone is so friendly and the best part is no chemical smell or toxic products. Everything is natural. Highly recommend.I have also gotten my hair done here and loved it!

I recently moved to town and wasn’t sure where to go for a stylist, or who was even open. I called Green Beauty, and it’s been nonstop wonderful customer service! I HIGHLY recommend going to Ian (although I’m sure their other stylists are also very talented). Ian is extremely knowledgeable about the different products that the salon offers, how to use them, and which regimens to follow for desired results. He also gave me a GREAT cut for a very reasonable price. Phenomenal service! I’ve since sent my friends to him, and they all love him. The atmosphere itself is very peaceful and serene, but it’s the people working there that have me going back!

Such a charming, warm and wonderful salon. I got my makeup done and completely fell in love with the non- toxic beauty products. The owner is so lovely and I felt like an old friend being welcomed as soon as I stepped foot in the door. I’d come back for any and all of my beauty needs from now on!

I loved the docor and the people. I did not like my eyebrows the 2 times I went. Of course i still paid and fixed them myself when I got home. I just wouldnt go do my eye brows there again. Especially to do tinted brows. I did make an appointment and still had to wait 40 minutes due to not having many staff. Considering its because of the pandemic.

Gave The Green Salon a second chance and they Nailed it.. thanks a lot. Will definitely go again.

I like to be able to give some guidelines or ideas and then let the artist work their magic. I gave minimal input and I couldnt have asked for better results. I have never been so satisfied with a salon experience.

Shay did a wonderful job on my mani/pedi. She had a last minute cancellation and I’m so glad that she did! I could have sat there and talked with her for hours. Props to her for such a great job and starting in the business so young. I will definitely going back to see her again!

Unprofessional. They had me waiting for close to an hour. I also smelled weed on the hairstylist that did my hair the exact opposite way I wanted. Avoid at all costs. I left feeling worse than when I came in. I seriously wanted my money back.

I was happy with the hair service here. The men and women who cut and color are great and they used natural products. Nice atmosphere and I do recommend this place.

I’m very particular about how I like my hair cut. I’ve been to dozens of salons and Green Beauty always does the absolute best work I’ve ever had. The stylist Ian is tremendously talented and even takes notes on each of his clients to make sure that he has records of exactly what style you asked for and he even records what tools he used so if you return later he’ll know precisely how to give you exactly what you want.

Great downtown Willi salon. Ian is a fantastic stylist, just gave me a basic cut but it was exactly what I asked for and it looks great. Hes super friendly and welcoming. Go check them out!

I went to Green Beauty for a haircut for the first time today. This will be my go-to place from now on. Ian is very friendly and talented. The salon is clean and comfortable. I love the green, non-toxic products. I highly recommend it!

Best Thai Chili sauce. Boneless wings are big. Calzones are a large pizza folded, stuffed with gooey goodness.

I like the idea of a green salon. I decided I would give this place a try since it’s close to home. I fit it into my Saturday schedule for a 3 PM manicure appointment. I get there and they are running a little bit behind, which is acceptable if it was 10 or 15 minutes. I make an appointment and fit it into my schedule, I expect timely service. After almost 15 minutes of waiting they told me it was going to be at least another 10 minutes and said “sometimes that happens”. I’m sorry but if you’re going to be a more upscale salon you don’t make your clients wait. Very disappointing, unacceptable and unprofessional.

I used to really love this place. Unfortunately my last few experiences were not so great. A made an appointment for a hair cut. I got there and had to wait a half hour while she finished up another client. No big deal I waited since I wasnt in a hurry. She then informs me that she has no time to style it, which ok I get it. I asked if she could at least blow dry it since it was cold out and raining, nope no time. I also wanted to get my eyebrows waxed, no time for that either. So I left with wet hair. I call back a week later to get the eyebrow wax...the woman who answered said theyre power was out & couldnt process payments.Ok thats fine, but why were they open if they cant take payments? Fast forward 2 weeks later. I call in the morning and make an appt for the afternoon for yet another eyebrow wax, get to the appt only for them to say, can you come back in 45 mins! I was honestly shocked. The woman working offered to make me another appointment but honestly Im having doubts they will even keep the appt. I completely understand a busy business and overbooking. But there was only one other person getting their hair done and 2 people working. I really hate to leave a bad review but maybe they will work on it? Not sure I will be going back

Best place for a facial, hair cut/ color, waxing, mani/ pedi and make up that is 95% organic, vegan and free of animal testing! The staff are very friendly, outgoing and creative! The place Is beautiful, trendy and feels like a step right out of NYC!

I have been seeing Ian for almost two years ish. Ian has given the best haircuts I’ve ever had. The chances of me having a bad hair day have fallen to almost non existent because of the skills he puts into his work. I’ve brought my girl friends and guy friends to see him and they have been just in love with his work. He has incredible skills with his art but he also takes into account every little detail down and noted to what lengths you prefer. His charisma and charm glows off of him which makes the whole experience even more like a moment for your self than the annoyance of needing to get your hair done. The aesthetic of the shop is beautiful and selfie worth it looks like it came out of a Instagram a celebrity would have. I love all the natural and clean makeup brands they sell too I can’t help but to impulse by when I go!

I just moved back to Willimantic and was far from all the services I used to get in Vernon and WestHartford.Im amazed at the quality of the people and services offered here. Im so happy they are in my town! I go to Ada for amazing mani/pedis, Lisa for microdermabrasions to allow products to last longer and work better on cleared skin, and Ian for my hair.I usually do my hair myself but saw Ian work on three clients that left looking like models LOL so I asked him for a trim and balayage color pieces. I am brunette and the chestnut highlights that he wove into the longer layers of my hair are perfect. It looks amazing.His skill creating blond hues that are elegant and not all brassy was what initially impressed me. Then I saw that all the colorists here have pretty amazing results with blond hair tones.Im hooked on Ian though--but if you are blond come to this salon and any of the stylists will make your hair look and feel beautiful.Plus--Ian has a way of curling long hair that looks more high fashion/wild ringlets and its with a regular iron just held a different way. Im going to have him show me so I can create those curls at home too!Super pleased!Tiffany
