Today was my second time patronizing Woolmans. I purchased the tall Kale plants pictured below. I must say, I was greeted pleasantly and handled professionally. I am new to live plants and was looking for something that would last through the Winter. The selections were colorful for cold weather plants and also appropriate for this time of year. The prices are super affordable as well. They will be my first choice from now on.

Frank Woolman Ordered equipment from our company. Agreed to pay upon delivery. Going on 10 weeks of delivery. Still no payment and refuses to call us back. This business is not trustworthy and we are looking at all legal avenues.

Order 2 cords of firewood, site unseen, for delivery. Was advised on the phone that firewood was a mixture of hardwood and seasoned to be able to use this year. Delivery occurred on time and was placed exactly where we asked. The firewood is well seasoned, and seemed more than the 2 cords ordered. Burns well, no popping when burning. Will order again .This is just some of what we brought in to show the quality.Thank you

This was the third time I went to this nursery. If I could give it ZERO stars I would. Every time I have been there I have had a terrible experience. I have asked numerous employees where to find something and they just point and say over there! Oh ok !! Also on today’s visit which will be my absolute last, a “manager” was disciplining an employee in front of customers. This had to be the worst experience for this young man. Embarrassing to say the least. This manager needs to take some classes on how to MOTIVATE his employees not put them down. I give that young man so much respect for not reacting in a negative way to the way he was being talked to. To the manager, if that’s what you are, you may friend need to learn how to talk to people.

They are pricey and the customer service is zero. The young lady/ manager is ok but the big dude with the beard is rude. I wouldn’t spend money there because of him. He ignores you if you ask him any questions. Dude! work somewhere else if you are unhappy doing your job. He needs complete customer service skills training.

Staff were pleasant and helpful.As for the 1 yard of $43 a yrd top soil i purchased, it was terrible, here is just some of what i pulled out of this junk; 2 and 3 inch rocks, acorns, chestnuts, pinecones, pens, sticks 1 round and 5,6,7,8 inches long, zip ties and thats no joke.I didnt just find a little of each, i filled a 5 gallon bucket 4Xs !!!The next yard i purchased from their competitor on Beverly Rancocas Rd for $35 a yard and it was clean as a whistle.!!!You go where you want, but i know where Im going from now on!!!!Just wanted update to be fair.Even though this soil was full of just about everything you can imagine, it had seed germinating in 5 days.This is something to consider i guess.

I live up in northern NJ but have made the drive several times down to this charming nursery. They have beautiful stock, some of which I havent found other places. Jacquie is super on the ball and was very capable to help with my needs. She also made sure our delivery happened according to schedule which was a little crazy during covid shutdown. I love my arborvitaes I have gotten there and get frequent compliments on how lovely they look. Highly recommend!

As a new homeowner and admitted plant killer, I needed as much help as I could get choosing flowers for our home. I was so lucky to work with someone over the phone who literally designed the look for the front of our house. I was able to send pictures of the areas that needed work and receive pictures back of what worked well in our space. I am so grateful to have worked with someone so knowledgeable, especially during the pandemic when social interaction is minimized. We pulled in, received our items promptly in our truck, and were on our way! Thanks again!

First time and last time there. Went looking for a tree. Young lady basically said its back there somewhere. After hunting for what I had no clue I was looking for, she proceeded to actually come talk to me to tell me that they were closing.

I ordered 5 tons of stone and got stone mixed with a ton of dirt. I called and spoke to them. The owner said he couldnt send someone to replace it for a day or 2 and suggested that it would be easy to wash the rocks off as Rocks dont hold water. I wanted to get my stone placed so I decided to hose the stone off. It took about 15-20 minutes per wheelbarrow to hose off the dirt. I got frustrated after about 4 hours and decided to wait for rain and do a few wheelbarrows per day.After about 3-4 weeks I still have almost half my dirt/rock. It literally looks like they dug into the ground to scoop my dirt. I decided to call them and get the remaining rock replaced. The owner was very short with me saying it was a month ago and that I had told him I would clean the rock. I told him that this was too much work and asked him to come look at the rock/dirt he had sent me. He said he would call me back when he was coming out and never did.I have ordered from them before (3 times this year alone), but will never order from them again. i will tell my friends and neighbors the same thing.

Great customer service and lots of options with more to come as the weather warms up! Our kids love helping is pick things out!

Great selection but pricey

I am over the top thrilled, mostly because I didnt have to drive so far (Freehold, NJ). The gentleman was very accommodating even offered to ship them because I purchased so many.I LOVE MY SKIP LAURELS!!!

Manager (Jackie) was VERY rude! She needs to attend SEVERAL customer service workshops! Also... mulch was $6.99 here and only $3.48 at Home Depot up the street... so I guess her nastiness was a blessing in disguise! I will never go back!!!

Tight parking, but there is a lot of variety for descent prices.

Ordered 16 thuja green giants balled and burlapped. They were delivered promptly and the driver was helpful and knowledgeable. The trees were all in good condition. Would highly recommend

Best Nursery around. They have a large selection of annuals, perennials and the most beautiful hanging baskets Ive ever seen. Plants and trees are all of better quality than other places. Best price on Mulch also. I moved to the area in 1964 and have been buying here ever since.

The staff are rude, everything is over priced, fruit & Vegas are half rotten. They give bad advice on care for trees and plants then become aggressive if you question the purchase. I highly recommend you do not buy from here!
