The sales woman was an asset: honest and knowledgeable. A wonderful person to work with.I spent a lot of time shopping around different stores but knew after the first visit that this one actually cares. They stock diverse, top-shelf products. Many American manufactured options, a few Nordic ones. When you go here you can expect them to beat their competitors pricing for better quality products. Your dollar goes farther here.They ensure the mattress’s on their floor are made with safe chemicals. That’s important and NOT the standard for most industry.I would be happy to be a lifelong customer; bringing those I care about here when they need a mattress or frame.Thanks

Ill never buy a bed anywhere else! Affordable, friendly, and SO easy to work with! Ive purchased maybe 5 mattresses now from these folks. The owner is often standing right there at the desk. They delivery, set-up your frame, etc. So wonderful and personable and real. No nonsense. How a VT-owned business should be.

The business is now named Vermont Mattress & Bedroom Company. I would give it ten stars if possible. The owner, Teresa, and her husband maintain an immaculate business with dozens of options for every price range and bed taste. They are incredibly knowledgeable about the tech specs of bedding and, even more, incredibly pleasant and gracious to do business with. Cannot recommend them highly enough. From first hello to delivery of our new mattress, this business treated us like royalty. If only all business were run so superbly!

Went in to get a mattress today. My friends mother recommended I go in and see Theresa. I am so glad I did. I have been having terrible back and neck pain. Im 25 years old, moderately active. Come on?... The staff was great. Told them them the issues I was having and they were knowledgeable on their products. I was in and out in 30 minutes. I purchased 2 latex pillows and I am just blown away. It doesnt seem like a big deal but by far the BEST purchase I have ever made. I cannot wait for my mattress to be delivered. I splurged and Im glad. Your body will thank you for it.

Just got our bed from Vermont Mattress Depot yesterday. I had the mattress delivered the very next day! They were courteous from beginning to end. The delivery guys were super friendly and careful. We have a tiny upstairs apartment and they were able to navigate our narrow hallways with ease! Speaking from experience, in all my 36 revolutions around the earth, this has been by far the best night sleep I have...ever...gotten!

This store is run by a young husband and wife with a 3 1/2 yr old kid who plays quietly behind the counter. When I entered, they greeted me but didn’t bum-rush me, which would have been annoying. Once I approached them, they were helpful, knowledgeable, and was able to get me exactly what I wanted and then through in a small discount. Greatly appreciated the entire experience. Will be a repeat customer.

I went to buy a bed and frame for my college student son- the in-store service could not have been nicer or more helpful- no heavy sales pitch, just straight forward and friendly. Good prices, nice quality products. There was some delay with FedEx and delivery, and Teresa was incredibly responsive and helpful immediately on a weekend and the matter was quickly resolved. Thumbs up to VT Mattress Depot!

My issue was with the Vermont Home bed frame we bought, but VT Mattress & Bedroom sold and installed it.Its a Cherry wood king bed with 3 flimsy little 1x2 spindles supporting all the weight in the center. 1 screw through the 1x2 slats was supposed to support this for how many years?Wanted to pay a little more to support VT craftsmanship but it was seriousky lacking here.

Im extremely disappointed in the way the situation was handled with a mattress I bough here. I stopped in during the Going out of business sale, and talked to the husband of the husband/wife owners. I told him I was looking for a mid-priced mattress and asked why they were going out of business. At that time he told me his parents wanted to get out of the business, so they were selling off the stock they had to pay the parents back, and then opening back up with just the husband/wife as the owners. He showed me a mattress that I decided to buy and have delivered. Fast forward 3 months and the mattress began to sag on one side. After another 4-5 months, it was so bad that I decided to go back in and talk to him. The wife was at the counter, so I spoke to her and told her the story. She proceeded to tell me that they dont typically sell that brand of mattress, and the sale they had when I bought the mattress was when they buy truck loads of mattresses to sell at heavily discounted prices. Because I bought that brand of mattress during that sale, there was nothing she could do for me. It seems like months later, after I had paid for the bed and now it is, what I consider, defective, the story changes so they can cover their profit. I feel like they were deceptive during the original sale and wiped their hands clean of the issue when I went to see if something could be done. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Friendly staff and good prices.. the furniture looks nice. I did buy a cheaper mattress here once and it started sagging really badly in 3 months :( I believe this was a brand issue and not the store however the box spring we bought had also been severely cracked when the store delivered it.

Was looking for a replacement part for some furniture I purchased in Wisconsin years ago. That vendor was unable to help me, so I landed on Vermont Mattress Depots website after an internet search for that same furniture. Jay was able to promptly locate the replacement part, had it shipped to his store and then to me. Perfect fit! He went way out of his way to help me. If I ever need new furniture, I know where Im buying it - Vermont Mattress Depot!! Heterosexual friendly :)

Very accommodating, took the time to listen to what we were looking for. Knowledgeable too, learned things I didnt know before and were able to get us into the furniture we wanted! Definitely recommend going here.

I saw a going out of business sale on the store front and decided to go in and take a look. I found a mattress that I liked and two different salesmen told me the price of the mattress and assured me that they could sell it for that price. I asked multiple times while I was in the store that they were sure they could sell the mattress for that price. I said ok and the salesmen wrote up the sales ticket for the pice he said we shook hands and I went pay. Then the person behind the counter said the owner called and said they cant sell the mattress for that price. Very disappointed that they would not honor the price that the salesmen assured me they could do on the mattress.
