Manager and sole auto tech Don is awesome. He gets the job done, is informative, and does what I needed without any BS. Reliable place to get auto service.

I have an older vehicle while I’ve been bringing to Don at Monro for a dozen years, if not more. He’s kept mine running where I might have otherwise been forced to sell. He always takes time to explain whatever the issue is, and will present different options for repair or replacement. I appreciate his honesty and forthrightness.

I have been going to Monro for years. They are very knowledgeable and professional. I had a 2007 Chevy Aveo and they took care of my car for years and always charged me fair prices and never took advantage of me. Excellent service. Made an inspection appointment for 8:00. Work began on time and was contacted by 8:30 with repairs required to pass inspecton.Car was completed by 10:00. Pricing was very reasonable. Have been having vehicle serviced at the Willow Grove, PA. location for more than 10 years, and never had any issues. Highly recommend.

The world is full of information, but, which information and sources can one trust? It’s a daily issue in so many ways, but one area where it is critical is in automobile care and service. I don’t know about you, but I am not a trained mechanic. Therefore, it is important to me that I go somewhere where I trust the advice I am given. I trust Don at Monro to recommend the right thing for my vehicle each time I visit and I’ve never been wrong in doing so.

I have nothing but good things to say about This garage and these guys.After my divorce I was left garageless, I lost the shop my ex took the cars too, they completely over priced the work!! I called around a lot of different places and landed with these guys. A. Because of the prices!! I was a single mom no child support salary. but also B. They talked to me and answered my questions. They explained car things to me, I’m incredibly mechanical and understand and have a desire to learn, but since the ex just did all the car things I for sure have a learning gap that this shop informationally responds to.They are busy, I can see that, but the time they put into answering questions or pricing things out for me is a quality you do not find many places.I also have an out of town generationally owned family garage that I call and cross reference work and prices and this shop has always been honest with me.I personally send family and friends in here.And finally C. I’m always bouncing around and juggling kids and work and well life! This garage is patient with me on that, late to pick up unexpectedly out of town. Or the availability for after hrs drops, so even with life I’m able to get it in to get the work started.Definitely recommend John and Don!Thanks guys!

They have always done the extra mile for me to even fix something else small for me while one of my vehicles were in the shop. I recently had a review of fair and honest. I want to add I was a customer for 7 years and am no longer. This facility is under new management or ownership and I dropped my car off for inspection and was told I needed rotors and brake pads to pass inspection along with some other items totally 779.00. I was told the rotors were so bad that in a month or so it would have been a big problem!I said no and picked up my car that evening and in the morning I took the car to my husbands mechanic. They said my rotors were fine! Bill was 400.Interestingly, Monroe called me in the morning before I took my car elsewhere telling me I could wait a bit for the rotors to get my bill down but they may squeal. I told them I got a better price from another mechanic and would not be using them.I picked my car up and it was half the price and did not need rotors at all. I called Monroe and he said he goes by what his mechanic tells him. How did my rotors go from being so bad and need to be replaced for inspection; to we can get the price down and not replace the rotors yet but they may squeal????? He was not owning up and out of good faith I was hoping he would not charge me for the inspection but he said no!!!!! It would have helped make me feel better and not write this review.I really trusted them. Glad I have a mechanic I can trust now!

Our family has been using Monro for all of our service needs for the last 15 years or so. Just had some challenging issues addressed in my last State Inspection and their service was outstanding. Don and his team of mechanics are honest, courteous and professional. I would never hesitate to use their services.

I had to take my car in on an unusually bad Saturday. I needed the entire exhaust system replaced...then on the way back to get my car my husband had a blow out. They were kind enough the change the tire and put on the spare for us. We ended having to come back and get a few adjustments because the pipe hung a little low but they fixed it within less than half an hour. The service was exceptional and they went above and beyond to take care of us.

There customer service is not helpful or genuine.Do not bring your car to Monroe they are crooks.They will damage your car if you change breaks there you will have transmission problems as soon as they finish working on your car. 2016 Nissan maxima

The crew at this location is great. They were honest, reliable, accommodating, and did a great job. I had a very bad experience at another location across the state and was not able to make it back to the original location to have the issue fixed. The team at this location was more than willing to step up and fix what needed to be fixed. They took care of everything and made my outlook on Monro positive!

Was here over a month ago, but cant forget the friendly service and quick inspection. I had to have my car inspected in order to renew my registration and I was able to make an appointment at my earliest convenience. Additionally, I felt like my car was well taken care of and that my inspection was completed in a timely manner. Thank you Monro!

What a great experoence!! I scheduled an appointment to have my tire plugged here. When I arrived I realized I needed my oil changed as well. Despite how busy they were, Don and Don were able to squeeze it in for me.I asked them about pricing that I thought it was, and was happy to hear the prices they quoted me or even less than I anticipated.They offer good service, at a reasonable price, and quick turnaround time. I went here for inspection I was thinking it was gonna brake my bank but John was very calming it did not need as much as I thought it would I felt like my business mattered and the work was complete in a timely fashion I was very pleased. The employees at this location have great attitudes and are very attentive. I had an oil change here last Saturday and everything went smoothly. My car is running great and because of their customer service Ill be returning to Monro for my next oil change/wheel alignment/etc. I really like it here!

Ive been living in the area for over 8 years and I wished I took my cars here sooner! Ive been taking my vehicles to Monro 3+ years and the service is always great! Scheduling ahead of time is a breeze or even dropping my car off unscheduled works out well. They have great communication and speedy service. Whether its inspection, oil change, tires or the average wear and tear I bring my cars to the Willow Grove Monro.

The service was very friendly and efficient. They were busy when I went in but were quick to fit me in for an afternoon appointment.I went in to have my brake pads replaced and to have my brake oil checked. I liked that they checked by brake fluid and told me I didnt need to have it flushed, instead of doing it anyway and charging me. They never tried to upsell me anything, which I really appreciate since that has been my experience at other car services. I got the work done at a good price and will be returning here for service again.

Assistant Manager Don has been a permanent fixture here for years! Always honest and thorough with my cars! Save me a ton of money over the dealership on some exhaust work, and tire prices are reasonable as well! I wouldn’t take my car anywhere else!

They where busy but made time for me with out appointment. Got my breaks done in one afternoon, the guy even stayed few minutes past closing to wait for me to get my car. I would recommend calling ahead and making an appointment to save time. Keep up good work !!!!

Was having trouble finding a trustworthy auto shop until I came here. These guys walked me through the process over the phone of what my repairs would cost/entail and worked with me on scheduling a time in and a time out so I could get to work on time. They also heavily discounted the services compared to the quotes I received from others. 10/10 - highly recommend!

Update: Still 5 stars 2 years since my review but only if you ask for Don. My husbands car, the evil mobile, decided to have the wipers motor die on him during our monsoon season. The first guy who gave us the quote shell-shocked me with his quote. Over $500 to just replace the wiper motor and said it may not fix the problem! He told us to go to the dealer but in the end he was able to find the motor part so we stayed. We picked up his car but this time from Don. The total bill was $400 which included an oil change and headlight replaced. When we left, I was still in the parking and Don walked out to make sure everything was okay. He is one good guy. I dont know who that other guy is but look for Don. If Don ever leaves Monro, our business along with my family who goes there will be leaving too.We have been going to this Monro location for over 4 years. Service is always reliable and fast. But Don - as the saying goes, hes the man! Don has always been fair, no nonsense, and shoots straight from the hips - no b.s.! He only recommends what we need if we really need it, never trying to up-sale. We have had so many issues with our vehicle (its a lemon) but Don has helped us out each time even when he didnt have to to help make it right.

That said I have to say the Mgr/Tech Don Hicke is a big part of why we are satisfied. He listens well and explains all details of the job. I highly recommend this place!!! Stopped in with a tire issue and they worked right away for me too see if it was a leak or what needed to be fixed. They are very professional and helpful.

I came on here to rate this place and I really dont know why the other ratings are low. I had exceptional service! I visited this Monro after calling ahead and I was able to drop my car off the following day for same-day service. I had inspection done on my vehicle and not only were the thorough about it, they were very laid back and didnt try to haggle me for stupid things that most places try and jerk you around for. I highly recommend this place and they will absolutely receive more business from my family and I.

John was very helpful, and even though they couldnt complete the repairs to my vehicle, he found someone that could.

Excellent. John is very nice and will help you in any way. Don is great mechanic. They worked on my brake system for hour and it needs to go to dealer. Did not charge me and explained everything to warranty people. Do not go to meineke.on northeast ave phila 7 days had my car for 2 hr job and very rude and mean. I took it there for brakes and they did not even look at brakes that were dangerous. Monroe tells you that they are booked ao that youdo not wait for days

I love it here. I come all the way from NJ to get any and everything fixed. They work with me on the price and the payment, theyll pick you up and drop you off, theyll listen to me yell and then still be kind. And their hours are unbeatable. I highly recommend this location.

I’ve been dealing with this location for years, they have always been honest and trustworthy. They do quality work at a fair price. Don is a great guy.

I always get my oil changed here, they usually have a special for $20-$25 which includes a tire rotation, brake check, battery check etc. Its hard to beat that. They guys are friendly and down to earth, they dont try sell you on extras too much.

Took my car in to get looked at, man at the desk said he would call me that day to let me know what they found. They never called, and when i called them around 5:30 they had a serious attitude. They finally got back to me later that night and had no information for me and told me they would call me by 8am the next day. At 11am i call them and they finally tell me it was the crank sensor. I got it replaced and picked the car up and was again treated extremely rudely. A day later the check engine light was back on the car, and 2 weeks later the car wouldnt start. I then took it to a different place that treats the customer with respect and they told me i needed a crank sensor and the one that was just put in was put in completely wrong. Never will i ever go to Monro under any circumstances ever again

I have been bringing two of my cars here for the past two years and given them a lot of business. I went in today to get a replacement inspection sticker as I had to get my windshield replaced. Front desk person said it would be $20 and he does not have time to do it today. I took it somewhere else, and they charged me $9 and did it in 2 minutes. The other place said PA state law says you cannot charge more than $7 for sticker and $2 for replacement. I called back and asked why I was lied to, and person said that is Monro Corporate Policy, and he would not argue with me. I pushed back, and he said let me check and after 3-4 minutes said yeah that is right. He said if I had spoken to the manager and not the technician I would have got the right answer. I plan to take my business elsewhere.

If I could give this place 7 stars I would. Very humble, trustworthy, and honest people!

HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! I used to take my personal vehicles and my work vehicle to Monro but service was not great, and I got so tired of their rude and inconsiderate attitudes. My tire sensor light is still on a year after they reset it two times, and had me purchase two new tires. Additionally, the prices are too high, the wait is ridiculous, and we all could do without rude customer service

Good oil change and service.

They got my car fixed quickly.They also charge twice as much per hour as some other mechanics. They marked up the cost of the part I needed by almost 350%. Parts must be supplied through them. They connected the part to a muffler that was almost as rusted as the mid-pipe they were replacing. So I had the same problem 3 weeks later but technically with a different part.

These guys are the best. My family and I always take our cars here. Very trust worthy.My car started leaking gasoline and Pepboys said it will be $109 jus to look at it and I have to leave the car until after the weekend. They also told me that I might have to get the gas tank replaced.The guys here put my car on the lift and located the problem within a few minutes. It was a part that was installed incorrectly by another mechanic. They did it for FREE.Thats why I refuse to take my car anywhere else...

I would highly recommend Monro Muffler my 2011 dodge charger R/T was overheating so I needed a radiator I called around to different auto repair shops and they gave me the cheapest price with parts and labor when they installed the radiator they noticed that I needed a thermostat as well so they gave me a good price for the thermostat and didnt charge me for the labor price on the thermostat. My car doesnt overheat anymore They did a good job if you need a mechanic to trust go to Monro Muffler

I called to get service and a rude guy picks up and cant even give me a ballpark price to rip out 1 muffler and install a replacement same spot. If this is how you treat money customers, im happy i never bring my account to you guys!!! Ill bring all of my cars to someone else. What an a$$.

I honestly wish I could give this place zero stars.I have been coming here for a little over a year, and the customer service is always terrible. The wait time is also usually pretty outrageous as well. I had been looking past all that because their oil changes were fairly cheap but its just not worth dealing with their god awful customer service. A while back they fixed a windshield wiper of mine (with a ratchet that took all of 1 minute) and it crapped out on me during a snow storm. I took it back for them to fix it and not only did he tell me I had to wait an hour (No one else was there) but he wanted to charge me a crazy amount for a 1 minute job (that they already did). I ended up leaving and buying a ratchet and fixing it myself.Terrible service has lost a long time customer. Ill be sticking to pep boys now I suppose.

Taken my amazing car here before and they were really great to me; they understand how hard it can be with cars at times and really take the litttle knowledge i have and find the problem- when my car was leaking oil and i was freaking out they looked at it the same day and it turned out that there was a minor rip and only cost the price of an standard oil change! I am very satisfied and i grateful for their time and service

Hhmm? dont know where to start but I came here few months ago and told them i need new spark plug wires> they did the job and check engine was on ever since and the car was hesitating. Popped the hood and seen the new wires they put on had the clips on the cap broken off so they wires were barely making contact.Took it back to them and the guy just put a zip tie on them and said they should work now.But correct me if im wrong if i buy new wires and get over charged on labor i want the job done right not half ass fast.Well to make the story short i took my car to a different place to get it fixed and have them scan the car and yes they wires were still bad, funny thing also they werent enet pushed on the plugs right either.Well i dont like getting screwed out of money so i opened a dispute with them through consumer reports and on my behalf the are going to look into problems with them and if i can get a case they said ill get refunded for Monro NOT doing the job right :)
