Wilson Donut shop has the BEST donuts around!!! They have terrible customer service though. I tried to place an order of various items (3dozen) the day before and was told I had to wait until 7am to pick it up. Well, that doesn’t work for me because I have to be at work before 7am. That is the reason I placed the order a day ahead.

Along with Sandras Bakery, best doughnuts Ive had in my life, yall please keep up the good work.

I was sold some old and stale Donuts there! When I thank back about the situation they had two places to pull from and they pulled from the one that evidently was the oldest and it was a bad batch. Unfortunately I had left the city and was not going to return just for a dozen of donuts. Could have just been one bad experience I dont know Ill try them one more time. Trust me I understand inventory systems lifo and fifo ect. Please understand that you must satisfy your customers as well!

Drive thru is horrible, mask improperly worn during a pandemic and ladies seemed to chat about me asking for proper placenta before grabbing my donuts. Lady was playing with her hair over the display as well. Rude service most of the time. Tried several times and always an issue. Smh

This place is ranked in my top 3 of donut places in NC. Staff is always friendly. Donuts are always tasty. The breakfast sandwiches are second to none. Glazed cream puffs are undeniably tasty.

Donuts were delicious. Loved the strawberry puff and lemon puff. Lots of filling used which made it tasty and got filling with each bite. Glazed were soft and scrumptious.

Food is always great.But the girl working the counter ALWAYS has a terrible attitude. Sorry for buying food🤷Just glad the food is good.

My family and I were in Wilson from Wilmington and decided to stop in to get some coffee. Quaint little donut shop. They had a pretty diverse menu although they didnt have that many options when it came to the actual donuts, we did get their closer to lunch than breakfast however. With that said, the donuts we did have were pretty awesome, the blueberry donut holes were probably the best donut holes Ive ever had. Staff was ok, not super friendly but not unfriendly either, more neutral and straight to the point, no small talk. My wife and family enjoyed themselves, if were ever back in Wilson wed probably stop by again.

The Doughnuts were good, but the young girl working in the store was extremely rude. Youd expect decent service when your dealing with a small privately owned shop like this and we left very disappointed. We drove about 30 miles and while we were in Wilson, wanted to get something special for our granddaughter. She enjoyed the doughnuts, but we wont bother the young girl working there again by making her wait on our kind of customer anymore.

Food and service is always great..

Donuts were ok. Personally too sweet for my palette. The honey bun was the best. The service was blah. The order taker overlooked me as she was engaged in conversation with a regular patron. The service I received wasnt welcoming and it doesnt make we want to be a regular. Friendliness counts. Not only to familiar faces.

Fresh made donuts everyday and they are delicious the sandwiches and the burgers they sell there or made to order and in your mouth and their prices are very very reasonable pretty much cheap then other places and tastes way better but I never can go there without smelling those fresh donuts and having to buy one the people that work there are very nice and can and can help you out in any way whether you have a big business meeting or just a simple party but if you need a big order you need to call a day ahead of time so they can make sure that when you arrive you will be getting fresh hot donuts right out of the fryer! I definitely recommend everyone going here its been in Wilson for a very long time and I hope they never close down!

Phenomenal staff prices are reasonable service is fast love there variety of options sweets, fast food, steak also they serve breakfast all day there location is low key tho but trust me there amazing.

Bought a dozen donuts (6 glazed and 6 chocolate)...whole dozen was stale!!! You would think that they would have someone there to check the donuts and if theyre stale, throw them away!! Dont sell them to your customers for them to take a loss just so the company doesnt have to!!

They were part of the reason I would go. I liked them. But I dont think they are there anymore. Disappointing. They both had worked there forever. In my mind, THEY were The Wilson Doughnut Shop.

Ok, I admit it, I love donuts. But that means I know GOOD doughnuts.... and these are GREAT donuts! Not a million kinds or flavors or odd toppings like coconut lemongrass - just plain great donuts. And wait in line patiently and you’ll be rewarded.They do serve other things, but I can’t tell you about those because why would I go to a place with ‘Donut’ in the name and order some sandwich or biscuit. OLD FASHIONED! When theyre hot theyre better than Krispy Kreme! All fillings are traditional southern style, no Bavarian cream or exotic flavors. I enjoy those too but sometimes you want it the way it was way back when. Clean place. Seating is reasonable. Staff is nice. Prices are good. Also they serve lunch, Ive never had it.

Where do i begin... the donuts at this place are simply amazing! The donut holes are pure legend in Wilson. They have soo many options for the dessert case, but this MAY depend on the day & time though. For example on Friday afternoons, you may be lucky to get anything other than traditional glazed donuts. But this is just because they sell out! The owners are there a lot and are physically hands-on type owners, out front helping customers, down to taking orders & you can tell this is not corporate run. Not only that, they are truly GOOD, loving people. (You can taste the love in the food) And now to the food: they serve breakfast & lunch all day. I’m a breakfast junkie, and it’s southern style, not frozen or anything like fast food does. Same goes for their lunch. Burgers, Hotdogs, Fries, House Chips, all made to order and fresh! I have been eating here since i was young enough to remember! Please give this place a try if you haven’t before. If you’ve had a bad experience, I urge you to give them another try. As a former restaurant worker, every employee or company has a bad day. You shouldn’t leave from here any way other than full & happy!

Super good food--way beyond expectation--and plenty served. They can provide sandwiches, wraps, fresh fruit--amazing! We have started using them exclusively for our company brunches. Outstanding!

Called to make sure their hours were correct.... sometimes google is wrong. Told the lady I was coming by from out of town to get cream puffs for the wife and may show up right at closing time. She asked what I wanted and told me she’d go ahead and get it together for me. Great customer service! And the cream puffs are worth driving an hour out of the way!Thank you!

Excellent doughnuts. I brought 2 dozen for my 2nd period class who won a competition. They loved them. I also brought a strawberry filled one for myself. It was the best I have ever had. It was worth the drive.

The old lady behind the counter is rude, not friendly at all. Asked for a specific dessert, a chocolate covered long john. They just sold what was in the counter but did have several plain ones. Did not even offer to put chocolate on any of the plain ones. The lady acted like she couldnt be bothered. There was no one behind us in the line so a little customer service would have been nice. My husband asked another worker could they not but some chocolate on some of the plain ones. He was told yes. WoW really? The old hag that took my order couldnt offer that. Yeah like I said terrible, rude person at the register.

There are some hard workers here and some real small town charm. Reasonable breakfast, delicious donuts and lots of charm.
