Japanese Auto Professionals Plus has been my go to place for my 2010 Subaru for 8 years now. Manny always listens when I try to describe what I think might be going on with my old girl. I leave her with the confidence that they will definitely figure it out quickly, and not try to talk me into some unnecessary repair. I trust that if it needs oil, hell tell me, or if something else is needed to keep me safe, hell alert me. That just happened. I took her in because I heard a sound that was disturbing. That was a simple fix. Because I had driven that car down from the snowy north, the underneath was full of rust. In dealing with securing the problem, they discovered a safety issue with my front wheels due to rust. Manny immediately called me, even though Id established that anything that would make the car unsafe should be dealt with without question. Because the part was not immediately available, Manny was worried that the repair was going to take a few days so he actually drove to pick it up himself. Thats excellent customer service, and why Im as loyal to them as they are to me.

Super helpful and informative. I had a few more things that needed to be done on my car and was given the option to do that at a later time but was given the information about the products being used and what exactly needed to be done. I’ll be coming back for future work done for my car

Manny is awesome! Needed to get my Honda Civic up and running after sitting for a while from not being used during COVID. Work for a Jeep dealership and could have gotten the work done at site but put my car in their hands. Great and fair pricing, kept me updated and quick work!! Car runs like a dream again. Will 100% be going back for any work on my Civic. 10/10

Came to the shop thinking my windshield wiper motor was out. Manny came through and grabbed a wrench and tightened up a bolt. Came back a year later, thinking my alternator was bad. Dropped off the truck and a hour later Manny calls me and said it was my battery and that it was ready for pickup.The guys here are honest and reliable.My new shop thanks Manny!

Greedy! I’m honestly too mad to write a review but I’ll forget later:I called the car in, I felt like I did everything right. This shop just forgot my car, did a quick job that almost cost me my car, and very unprofessional. Two days wasted... late to work... and then tried to charge more for their mistakes at the end. I’m glad we talked that over but you would think at the price that you pay, they wouldn’t do such a sloppy job.The owner guaranteed a good job on my whole car and then recanted the next day with another labor charge (besides the day before over priced charge that I didn’t even get mad at). I really felt ripped off and like I couldn’t trust this guy. He offered a free oil change but I wouldn’t go back.

So we called and asked them if they were busy and if they would take in our car no appointment. They said yeah ! Come around he said.So they told us by 12 we will have an answer. No answer we call at 4 they didn’t even look at the car. So we wait again and they said the sensor we needed was 220. We found the sensor for 30 and it’s a simple click off and click on. We still paid them to install it and guess what (took them less then ten mins to supposedly fix it) ... we left the shop with the car worst then it was before. It was jumping and engine light came on and the next day it didn’t start at all. So the guy offered for someone to pick it up and he couldn’t do that with out us both being late to work. So we called a few times no answer so i called on my cell, He answered and he was really bothered. I told him we needed another tow but he had no other tow. Fine, one of us stood behind, we got the car to the shop. We get a call in the middle of the day there’s ANOTHER sensor they didn’t get off of the half job they did the day before. $100 they wanted to charge. We got to the shop and supposedly their computer wasn’t working so they wanted cash. I was bothered honestly from the moment i got there because of the mission and we told the guy we don’t have cash and he started to get really nasty (can’t believe how that’s the owner). I stood there and just nodded my head because he was throwing computers and aggressively telling us if we don’t get cash we wont get the car. He thought my nodding was condescending so he got more mad and started to curse. I stormed out and let my bf handle us getting our car back. I never at one moment raised my voice or got nasty with my words but this guy was the most un classy person ever. He even told my bf that he just forgot about my car and that’s why he did it quick and poorly. DONT BRING YOUR CAR HERE!!! Rude, dishonest, over priced, and they won’t care for your car.

I brought in my sons older Lexus with a small list of issues. Manny quickly and honestly assessed the problems, gave us good advice, and they repaired the car promptly and efficiently. These guys are a pleasure to deal with and were knowledgable and professional. Id highly recommend this shop, especially for an older, vintage car.

I took my car in for a check-up before moving out-of-state. They replaced my spark plugs (which did not need replacing) without asking me beforehand, and my car developed a number of issues driving afterwards, which was very stressful on my 900 mile move.I took the car into another shop, and the issues were caused because not one of the spark plugs had been tightened, and they had overfilled the oil by an entire quart.I wouldnt trust them to wash a car, much less fix any part of it.

The JAP shop is fantastic. I am greeted by name by very friendly staff every time I come in. I drive an 89 Bronco and am often in for repairs to get the truck running again or to restore her back to prime condition. The prices are always fair and the work done correctly and very quickly. Even during holidays the turn around time is never very long. This is a great shop for anyone looking for great and honest mechanics. I highly recommend this shop to anyone with a vehicle.

The mechanic was really nice, and actually told me that the vehicle was in such bad condition, he was willing to check out my next vehicle for free if I didn’t buy this one! The first two places said they were certified to work on my Prius brake system. Then all they could show me was an I pad. This place is where you take the scary electrical and computer problems your oil change mechanic wont touch. Very honest. Well priced. Great customer service.

These mechanics deserve a round of applause. They tell you the truth and will not scam you. They honestly take better care of your car then most mechanics. The price is reasonable! There are coupons on their website! If you want a good and reliable mechanic then this is the place.

This place did excellent work, way cheaper than I expected.

At 1st I had an issue after the 1st mechanic fixed my power steering pump on my GMC, but the owner advised me to leave the truck for a few days so he can make sure it was 100%. He went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. Very cool guy and the price was reasonable.

Came in for a Synthetic Oil Change and Tire Rotation. It was handled like clockwork, you can tell Alex and Orlando have been doing this for a long time as they are very professional. Price was fair, Id recommend to my friends.

I brought my 12 Honda Pilot to Orlando at the J.A.P. shop after my previous mechanic couldnt diagnose the shaking in my car. Orlando immediately found the issue (that could have been found earlier and would have caused less damage overall). They didnt make me pay for anything more than I needed and finished my repair within 6 hours (120k mile service plus two axles replaced). Would give 10/5 stars if possible.

These guys know what theyre doing and are honest. Much cheaper, more honest, easier to work with and do better work than the dealer. Totally recommended.

I took my Honda Civic there last week after having AC problems with it for years. Ive been to other shops for the same problem and was charged hundreds of dollars without the AC ever being fixed. Orlando was friendly and knowledgeable and had the AC freezing cold within a day. The invoice was reasonable too. Ill be using The JAP Shop for all my Honda services from now on.

My Lexus RX 350 engine light went on -- I asked around and someone recommended this shop. So happy I brought my car there!!! They have the diagnostic equipment to pinpoint the problem so they dont waste time/money. The cost to fix the problem was very reasonable, turn around was fast, they gave me a ride, the guys are really nice.... I highly recommend this place for honest and great service.

Im extremely surprised no one had reviewed this shop. I brought my 1993 Acura to them with distributor issues. I had a hellish experience with Sears Auto Center off of Sunrise Blvd (never go there).The father-son duo at the JAP shop were the saviors of that nightmare. Not only does my car run like nothing happened, they educated me. They educated me on what happened, why, and they did a test drive to tell me what should be changed in the future. I highly appreciate this since they are looking out for you and know what would needs to be done. Changing a $500 part now would save $1000 in the future.JAP, thank you guys for your great service and support. I will go to you again and recommend others to you.
