An amazing coffee and breakfast place! Cinnamon rolls were amazing! Great tea and coffee options as well!

Entering into an incredibly clean, tidy and spacious place, Hideaway has done a great job being creative with the space, colors, layout and design. Creative breakfast selections paired with a great cup of coffee and friendly team that knows how to make congregation, its an easy decision to put on my favorites list. Was pleasantly surprised with the prices.

Best coffee and pastries in the area. Nothing else like it. They really know their coffee, and the cinnamon rolls are a treat you *need* in your life! Ordering was super-easy and frictionless, and the service/products were just as great.

I went here for the first time today after finding out about it on Facebook, and I have to say I loved it! Knowing its an LGBT space made me feel so safe, as a part of the LGBT community. I had the honey granola yogurt and an iced lavender latte; both were excellent. The staff was extremely welcoming and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Will definitely be coming here more often; this area desperately needs more LGBT safe spaces like this.

Encouraged to try something new. I was delighted with the flat white (which is nothing like SBs flat white) Great service, great people working there. Indoor or outdoor seating (no pets in small seating, but there are nearby places if you have your pooch with you.

Great local place! The staff are really friendly and professional, and it shows. Our drinks and food have always been spot on, and they go out of their way to make this a really welcoming and fun place to enjoy a drink or meal. Love it!

EVERY single experience is always consistently AMAZING !From living around the corner and walking in - from ordering doordash from work.. ALWAYS GREAT. Never ever made a mistake - staff always friendly and quick! Even my doordash orders come with a cute message on the bag :) I have to say - You officially have my allegiance!

We stopped because of the Pride flags in the window and then we saw the menu 🤩 the coffee was amazing, the food was amazing. I recommend trying to lavender flavoring. I know it sounds unusual but it’s amazing! Shout out the Emma! Thanks for being so awesome and kind

I love this place. Im a matcha person, and this matcha was SO GOOD. Strong, and perfectly creamy with oat milk. I got it iced, and the second time they were more than willing to put maple syrup in it for a little sweetener, which is my favorite way to drink it and that was one of the best matchas Ive ever had. So, so good.

Food is supaaaaa gooddd butttt coffee is a miss. Their lattes are oddly sour and they wont fix it for you if theres an issue because they cant touch it if you already did? Idk would recommend for food but thats it

Must stop at this gem! I just stopped in for lunch and had the freshest bread in my life. I had the turkey with roasted red peppers and it was divine! Owner is amazing and great staff. Cute spot, perfect to meet someone for lunch, coffee or quiet space to catch up in work.

Cute little place, but the guy who was taking my order was rude and didnt seem to care. The latte I ordered wasnt even stirred together and everything was separated. Idk if they were just having a bad day but they really need to care a little more.

Vicky is warm and kind, and After just talking with her for a short time, you feel like you have known her forever. My family and I have been enjoying the coffee, food and especially the service at Hideaway Cafe for many years! Victoria and her staff are kind, helpful and fun. These are rough times so I appreciate their efforts to keep us all safe and healthy by following VDH and CDC rules and regs. If you havent been before, I encourage you to mask up and head on in for a delicious treat and warm, friendly service. I promise theres a smile behind their mask. :-)

Hide Away has fantastic coffee, great food and an absolutely amazing atmosphere. They are a friendly and inviting coffee shop. They require masks to be worn correctly when walking around or coming in to the shop. They are following the rules and doing their part to keep their customers and community safe. I would highly recommend stopping by for one of their iced mochas or a chicken salad sandwich!

The Hideaway Cafe is my most favorite spot in all of Winchester. From their amazing coffee and food (the stacked veggie sandwich is my most favorite sandwich on earth, and I am quite the carnivore), to the above and beyond service from Victoria, Greg, and crew, you cannot go wrong here. Their vibe and everything they stand for as a company is awesome, and the amount of effort and money they put back into our community is unparalleled. Treat the folks that work here with the respect they deserve as outstanding members of the Winchester community, and they will go above and beyond to cater to your needs and even treat you like you are part of their own family! Hideaway is my favorite coffee shop in Winchester, hands down. I haven’t had a drink that I haven’t enjoyed - from their mochas to their tea service, from their drip coffee all the way to other espresso beverages. And it doesn’t stop at coffee drinks, the cocktails are also incredible! They have a menu with delicious food (my favorite is the sausage egg and cheese bagel, which is served all day) and they regularly introduce new menu items.With the current situation regarding Covid, the folks at Hideaway have been doing an incredible job following the guidelines that have been set, and I truly feel safe sitting down and having a coffee. There is hand sanitizer available at each table, surfaces are regularly wiped down, and there is plentiful signage giving direction regarding the mask policy (if you don’t want to or can’t wear a mask, they will bring your order out to your car, which is pretty cool).Times are tough on small businesses, but even now, Hideaway has continued to give back to the community as much as they are able. I am proud to support them and will continue to do so as often as I am able.

Not only is the staff charming and friendly, Ive found the clientele to be exactly the same when Ive hung out inside. I have been so pleased with the service at Hideaway. Employees are masked and adhering to all the safety regulations. I just miss seeing their smiling faces.Also, they have been finding the most creative ways to keep their business afloat during these difficult times. From curbside service to online ordering and subscription boxes.Also, the new frozen treats are great!

It’s the kind of place where the service comes with a smile and the ambiance invites you to linger and hunker down for some great coffee and conversation. Good coffe nice clean place

I buy all my ground coffee here, and grab a cup to go whenever I can. The shop is run and staffed by some of the kindest people Ive ever met. Usually coffee shops are staffed with elitist snobs, but this is simply not so with Hideaway. Im hardly a regular, but they treat me like an old friend whenever I step in. Other businesses would do well to follow their example of customer service.

One trip to Hideaway and Im already looking at the calendar to see when my next trip will be to Winchester so I can revisit this charming gem. Its absolutely everything I want in a cafe: warm, inviting, full of adorable-ness at every nook & cranny, stellar customer service and most importantly - high quality eats & drinks.When I was searching online for a cafe/breakfast spot in the area, I was drawn to Hideaway because of their inclusive messaging. Every snippet I found online boasted about the cafe being a safe space for EVERYONE. This year has given emphasis to my desire to make intentional choices about the businesses I support. This is exactly the kind of business I want to endorse and where I want to spend my money.I was greeted as soon as I walked in the front door. My order was taken quickly and with genuine warmth. Since I ordered a few breakfast items, I was given the option to take a seat anywhere inside while the food was prepared. I was even updated a couple of times on the status of my order, even though everything was complete within about 15 minutes.My partner and I are big fans of matcha and these were the best matcha lattes weve had in YEARS. Probably ever. We were very impressed with the quality of the matcha and grateful for the option to sub regular milk for oat milk.What we werent ready for was how amazing the food was! Im not usually a fan of breakfast wraps, but the dude is, so we ordered an egg-normous breakfast wrap, an avocado & everything bowl, a french toast muffin and a bag of chips. I would eat that breakfast wrap every day for the rest of my life and die a very happy person. It was packed with amazing flavor and the sausage tasted QUALITY. I keep repeating the word quality, huh? Its now synonymous with Hideaway! The avo bowl was also bursting with flavor and included the best quinoa either of us has ever had in our lives. I dont know if they crisp it up with the everything bagel seasoning or what, but it was like little crispy explosions of flavor that had us both wanting to lick the container. The bacon was amazing and the egg was ... lets say it all together now ... QUALITY. !!!The french toast mufffin was just as fun as it sounds and it is HUUUUGE! Definitely generous enough for sharing, unless youre having it as your meal. The crunchy topping is oh-so-satisfying.The trip before this, we found our favorite pizza place within 100+ miles, now we have a favorite cafe too. This is more than enough reason to plan a weekend trip to Winchester and visit our new favorite places.

For a hipster, gay friendly bar with no outside seating it’s quite disappointing that I can’t even go inside to make a quick order when I have a puppy in tow.

Great little cafe. Had some delicious hot chocolate with my son, and we played a few of the games they have for customers. Staff was very nice, and location on the corner of the Winchester walking mall is fantastic, and very convenient. This will probably be a regular spot for hot cocoa all winter long.

Friendly coffee hangout that carries Red Rooster coffee, local beer, and sandwiches. The french toast latte this morning was fantastic. Worth seeing if from out of town, worth frequenting if you live here.Theyre in their new place on the walk now. A bit smaller than their old place but much more accessible and every bit as comfortable. The French toast latte is as good as I remember

I have come here several times to work on school or work. Good work space tables near outlets. It seems to always have a good stream of people no matter the hour so great for meeting people too. I have seen a lot of people meet hear to play games, chill, or have a business meeting. The space is very versatile. The staff is friendly and really know how to make any coffe drink you throw at them. Simple food menu but good. I havent been to any of their events but the board shows they have a lot going on every month. Great place!

I was introduced to the owner, Victoria, the other day, my first time in the Hideaway Cafe and I absolutely loved the atmospheres fun and bright welcoming vibe!! Im a new transplant from NJ and It was refreshing to see it filled with lots of happy customers!! the smell was out of this world, between the aromatic coffee and the complex desserts sweetness. Highly reccomend checking it out on your next trip to the walking mall!

Excellent coffee shop with friendly staff and fast wifi. A good variety of seating options will easily accommodate small groups or solo sippers. There are also a healthy assortment of board games to enjoy on a slow afternoon. Quite the little gem on the Winchester pedestrian mall.

Cold Brew iced coffee is awesome. Cute small place to come in have lunch and cool off. Very clean. Matt was great. Right on the corner of the walking mall. I now have a new place to go.

The inside of this coffee shop is very unique and cool. If your a college student or looking for some me time it would be a cool place to hang. The coffee.... Not that great. They cant make ice coffee because they dont have a blender..... I ended up getting a chi latte with ice in it. Not that great. The service wasnt anything above and beyond either. Honestly, to make it in downtown winchester you have to be more unique than other places. Steamys, firefly Cafe, and hopscotch all have much better food selection and coffee choices. I would not recommended this place nor will I be back.

Best coffee in all of Winchester!!! After trying multiple locations, I personally decided that the Hideaway cafe has the nicest staff, an incredible work atmosphere and amazing coffee. If youre ever down by the walking mall I recommend stopping by and trying the house recipe Chai Tea!

Solid little cafe. Wifi always works and the place is just big enough where you can sit and work (if that is your thing) and not feel in the way. The staff is super friendly and seemingly happy to be there.
