I go to LensCrafters all the time to purchase goggles and regular frames. Jonathan and Jeremy especially make me feel welcomed when I’m there. They’re professional and always help me find the best frames for the right price. The other employees are helpful and nice also. I have a great experience every time I go in and I leave very satisfied when I purchase frames and even contacts. I recommend them 5/5 every time!

Dr Hong is absolutely amazing, however the receptionist made this last experience horrible! My daughter went without me this time and was treated so poorly by the receptionist that she came home almost in tears. Horrible customer service. So sad because the doctor is amazing

I had a wonderful experience with the Winchester Lens Crafters staff last week. Keith walked around with me and helped me try on tons of pairs before settling on two, even pulling coworkers in to get their opinions (which I appreciated!). My glasses were ready quickly and I love them. They fit perfectly and don’t fall down my nose. Thanks to everyone in the office, you all are great!

I have had great experiences with the team at LensCrafters in Winchester. The entire team has always been incredibly helpful and accommodating when choosing a new pair of glasses or repairing already existing glasses. My daughter felt comfortable and confident in her choice because of the encouraging staff and the optician Keith is exceptional at what he does!

The staff at The Apple Blossom Mall store in Winchester, VA were awesome! I had an emergency situation where I needed some replacement glasses quick and these guys (and gal) saved my butt!! They went above and beyond and out of their way to help me and all deserve promotions and cash bonuses. Seriously. I have used LensCrafters for a long time and had almost written them off due to a couple really unprofessional dirtbags and (lack of) customer service that I received at a different location (Clay, NY). I wasn’t going to give them another dime after a couple unpleasant experiences, but I needed glasses quick and they had all my info in their system. Well, corporate if you’re listening, your employees in Winchester have earned back my loyalty. Just not at the Clay, NY store. Thanks again!

Johnathan was absolutely wonderful! Not only was he very knowledgeable, he was personable and polite. I must have tried on 40+ pairs of frames, but none of them were quite right. He asked me a few questions and was able to find my purchase from 7 years ago and order me the exact same frames- which I had loved, but recently lost. I really dislike having to leave this review, but felt this Lenscrafter location be aware of a lack of customer service.The reason I went there was that they are a in network+ provider for my vision insurance.Although the staff welcomed me and took my information, they did not assist me other than telling me, you can pick from anything on that wall, The Optometry tech did not ask me, or attempt to assist me in picking out frames that would look good with my facial symmetry.In the past, while making Optical purchases elswhere, the staff always suggested styles that might look best on me.After looking at a few frames, I eventually just walked out and drove to Costco Optical Dept, where I know I will have to pay more and have to submit my own claim to my vison care insurance, however the staff there did leave their post to show me the frames and assist me in choosing one that looked good.I was looking forward to a better experience at our local Lenscrafter, but it just didnt happen.

My son broke his glasses during our trip to Virginia. His glasses were still under warranty. We went to Lens Crafters. They were very caring and helpful. We were in and out of the store, with a brand new pair in less than 30 minutes.

Fast and all my questions were answered with confidence. I recommend this place.

As always, I enjoyed my shopping experience and my eye appointment at Lens Crafters! I wouldnt go anywhere else to get my eyes checked and get my glasses each time! All of the employees at Lens Crafters went above and beyond to make my experience enjoyable. They were all very friendly and clean while keeping the make mandate clear to customers who entered the store, which I appreciated. It made me feel safe during my shopping experience.I not only left with one pair, but two because I just couldnt decide! Everyone there was so helpful! Keith did a great job fitting my glasses to make sure they fit just right. I cant wait to take them home and show them off!

Such a pleasant experience for my husband and I (and our two little ones in toe). We worked directly with Jonathan and Jeremy but everyone was so friendly and helpful. We ended up getting three glasses and I honestly dont know if we would have been so eager to purchase if the guys werent so awesome. AND I got to wear one of my pairs out! I selected frames to choose between the day before my eye exam and they held them for me. The process to select and customize my glasses was quick and pleasant.

Glasses lenses are expensive but they did have a coupon to help out lot of choices

Didn’t verify insurance, them LensCrafters store said yes they take insurance and doctor said no don’t take it, no one wanted to take responsibility.They charge you for being late but no discount for them being late and booing too many peopleWant you to respect their time but they have no respect for others timeTo me if feels like they practice as if they are a monopoly and not very respectful once they make a mistakeWhen everything is fine, you pay what they ask for and if you don’t complain about being late then they will appear nice and respectful

I had to return my glass due to a doctor back in November giving me a prescription that was too strong. I got another exam with Dr Hong and Lens Crafters returned my original pair and ordered my new ones. Colleen was extremely helpful and worked on my order to ensure I got the best price. I absolutely love this location and Dr Hong next door.

2 weeks ago I stoped in to get new lens to replace the one that I scratched, they said I needed a new prescription . Today I got a new prescription and went back to the store to order new lens and they are now telling me that I have to get new frams because they cant put my type of lenses in my old frames that are less than two years old. Why did they not tell me this two weeks ago? I feel that they are trying to make me buy new frams when I do not need them. The customer service is horrible at this store!!

I purchased Brooks Brothers frames, with polycarbonate blue IQ clear lenses. The frames I highly recommend. The lenses Im disappointed with however. I expessed concern about scratches because I have a kid and cats. I was told that this lense choice is fairly scratch resistant, but it definitely is not. A kitten claw put a deep scratch and 2 pit marks in it very easily. Now I need new glasses after only 2 months. Im not happy about that, especially since I spent a little over $300 on these. The Blue IQ Clear is also not clear. It gives everything a very slight yellow tint which I really dont appreciate. It throws off the color of everything especially whites, blues which look slightly green, and clear glass. I feel mislead about the lenses. I wouldve happily paid more for high index glass to avoid this which I initially asked about. I was told they could do it but theyd be heavy. Ive checked and theyd only be about a tenth of a gram heavier for my prescription. Overall, Im not very satisfied. I will give somewhere else a try.

Dr Hong is amazing! I’ve been going to him going on two years and would highly recommend him and his staff. From exam to glasses was super easy. Will be switching my children to his office as well.

Been wearing glasses for over 40 years, been to almost every eye place in town and LensCrafters is the only place that I dont have to return them over and over because something isnt right. All glasses are expensive anymore, but these people are the only ones I trust anymore to do it right.

Dr. Hong is incredibly thorough and knowledgeable. Me and my daughters have been going to him for several years. Highly recommend him.

I love Dr. Hong. He is very through, but the lady who works at the front desk is very nasty and she shouldnt be working in a customer service environment. When you are trying to explain something to her, she tries to over talk you instead of listening. I would give this a 5 star, but because of her attitude I cannot. I hate to penalize Dr Hong for her behavior, but he needs to get someone in there that knows how to work with customers, because SHE AINT IT!!!!!

Dr. Hong provides excellent service. He was thorough and had very good “bedside “ manners. I drove out of the way for this appointment and would do it again.

The worst experience ever!!! Customer service was an undesirable one, horrible to say the least. Eye doctors receptionist very unpleasant, doctor prescription totally incorrect. After carefully selecting the desired frames, they lost them, had to start over again. On third visit I found the frames back on display. They decided to charge a hundred dollars over their original quote not to mention that also just she acknowledged the frames sale price were now reduced. She insisted she never gave me a quote until I presented her the original quotes she provided me in her own handwriting! They told me to return for the crafted glasses in an hour, when I put on the glasses I was seeing double, blurry, and unable to see distance or read. They said the optometrist would not re examine me until I wear the lenses for at least 7 days. 7 days of headaches I returned the glasses, they hand adjusted the left prescription without physically re-testing me. Picked up new glasses again, lenses installed were curvature and not designed for a straight frame. Prescription was still off on right eye, & they wanted to charge me for another examination. They all claimed I was a rare case, ironically there came in another customer with the exact issues! She was almost in tears. Even though all the errors were theirs, they refused to re test me unless I paid them! My regular eye doctor provided them my prescription from less than a year ago; they had to order the right lenses for the frame? When the new glasses were presented to me, the lenses were not sized right to the frames, they protrude out of the Ray Ban frame as before, and they insisted that was normal and refused to fix them. Insisted they should not pop out of frame completely? The other customer also had to utilize her older prescription due to the glasses issued to her. Two customers with similar issues on the same they doesnt qualify as a rare case, but perhaps and investigation into this company is recommended. Is it normal to adjust a prescription without an actual physical examination?? Next step is a grievance!! Beware of Lens Crafters of Winchester.

I have not used their doctor, as I bring in my own Rx from my eye dr. but they seem to be able to make my progressive lens better than any other place in town. But I will say, with almost every eyeglass I have owned, just about 1 out of 10 are ever right. So dont let them fool you to think you are weird or the only one who has these issues. For all those who wear glasses all the time, you KNOW when you put a pair on if they are right or not. So if ever in doubt, go with your instinct and insist on them being right.

Went there after having to switch providers. The experience overall was super fantastic. Dr. Hong was great and even gave me the ability to select which prescription I felt comfortable with for my eyes! Even taught me some nefty tricks for dry eye!The sales rep I worked with was fabulous he let me do my own thing and it super quick and simple! I lost my receipt and I can’t remember his name but he was a dead ringer for TJ Miller the actor! (Sorry!) He was fantastic 10 out of 10 would recommend!!!!

I had a great experience. They were very helpful, caught a problem with my prescription from my eye doctor not a Lenscrafters doctor. They called and got it corrected and was very fast on getting my glasses ordered. Thanks

In all of the years that Ive had issues with my vision, I have never had a doctor listen to what I was saying, completely understand, and give real advice on what would work best for the issues with my eyes like Dr. Seung Woo Hong did. He was very thorough with his examination and actually LISTENED TO ME. I am very happy I chose this office & I will follow up with them going forward.
