We absolutely enjoyed our delicious breakfast that was prepared right before our eyes. The food was delicious, large portions and affordably priced. Thank you to the owner cook and his mom for a great breakfast!My preference is to support the local merchants instead of the chain establishment.

This place is awesome. I stopped here passing through, its a good thing I dont live here. I would eat here everyday. I had a Nancy omelet with some bacon added to it. Home fries on the side and toast, I was stuffed. According to the name on his shirt, Abed the cook was incredibly personable and the way he tried to keep track of everyones food while running the place by himself was impressive.

First time visiting and definitely not the last! Very cozy little diner with an L shaped counter. There are no tables; but, do not let that discourage you from having a great meal. Actually sitting at the counter is part of the fun as you get to watch the Owner / Chef in action and he is super fast and efficient on the grill.The owners Mom was working with him and she is a true joy. The food is amazing and the portions are crazy big. If you leave hungry it is your own fault.The diner is cozy and inviting, the Owner and his Mom are an absolute delight and the food is amazing.If you are in the area you must stop by, you will not be disappointed!

The Philly cheesesteak sub with fries was heavenly! Everything seemed so fresh and hot. Though we had to wait a while for lunch, the time passed quickly as we were entertained by the energetic cook as he dashed around completing other orders. The other customers also got into talking about the antics if the cook and his mom who showed up to help out. I suspect this small diner will become a chain of fine diners. The cook cut everything by hand in an expert manner. This place is a real diamond in the rough!

Had breakfast there this am and what a treat! - from the warm greeting to the fantastic food! Top notch! Fresh food cooked with care in a clean kitchen. The grits were creamy and delicious. The toast thick and toasted on the griddle. Its a shame we live so far or wed make this a regular spot! Kudus to this family owned little gem

It takes a little time because its one guy doing everything but it is a definite stop. Its Winchesters secret spot. He is so polite and courteous. You have to eat here.

Actually came to go to bagel place next door but sign on their door was really rude so we walked next door to this little place..Glad the other place didnt want business because this place was great! So hospitable! Mom and Son cooking food at an old fashioned bar style diner. Lots of smiles and good food! Highly recommend!

This is hands down one the best breakfast spots that I have ever been to! It is small and quaint but man is the food top notch! Everything about our experience was amazing! The staff was so friendly and it was so fun to watch the chef cook right in front of you. If I could give more than 5 stars I would have!

Great little local diner in the heart of downtown Winchester. The kind of place where you sit at the counter and chat with the other customers. Great food and hand cut fries. Get the Hangover Helper steak, egg, and cheese sub (I ordered mine with peppers and onions). Its the cure for those saturday morning headaches!

Found this little gold mine of a dinner. It’s ran by the owner who’s there by himself on the weekdays ( his mom and dad are there sometimes, nicest ppl you can meet). It’s a show to Diesel ( the owner) take orders, cook and serve guests all with a smile and great conversation. He remembers to full your drinks while cooking also making sure you are ok. The food is amazing we became regulars while in this little town. He’s willing to for a small charge to add whatever you want to your eggs or home fries. I’ve tried just about everything on the menu as you can see from the pics.... Oh yeah make sure you bring your appetite the portions are huge. The burgers are hand make real hamburger meat and well seasoned not bland and tasteless.

Welcoming patrons as they enter, inviting them to grab a spot and immediately filling beverage requests, cooking up orders, refilling drinks, and consistently making sure everyone had what they wanted. Our daughter (1.5yo) was entertained watching him cook up orders, make faces at other guests, and play with the jelly packets. It was refreshing to step into a diner that maintains that small town charm and isnt just a cliché tourist trap.If we pass through Winchester again, we will most certainly be coming here again to eat.PS... Id totally have pictures, but the good was too good and it just wouldve been empty plates

This is our 4th day in a row eating here . This grill with owner Diesel is just down right amazing!! From eggs to pancakes to steak sandwiches, to Blts, to homemade home fries, I can just go how delicious this food is .I absolutely love ❤ this place !! Its only a matter of time before he is on TV.The cheeseburgers is the best cheeseburger Ive ever had . Diesel gets his meat right from the local butcher! We were in Winchester for 2 days and came across this diner. We ate here 2 days, the atmosphere is amazing, the owner is very personable. We enjoyed the food from a fruit bowl to AMAZING strawberry banana pancakes and French toast. The size of the diner allows customers to interact with each other and also the owner. (Diesel). WE will be back many times in the future. If you havent tried this diner it is a must. Thanks for serving us in such a wonderful way.

One of the best experiences Ive had in a while. Chef/owner/server, 22 year old young man with an AMAZING personality and aura. Extremely intelligent and driven. A must go for breakfast! We are traveling this weekend and our hotel only had boiled eggs. So we decided to go to a local spot and we was amazed. Local people eating their and you just felt at home. One of the customer recommend the scrambler has everything but the kitchen sink. The plate was full. Mr. Diesel was a great cook and server. The grits was amazing too. This spot deserves more then 5 stars.

Family owned Old school diner feel.Located in Winchester Virginia this is a must dine stop! Take a break from the chain food stops give it a try. You actually get the watch the chef cook everything right before your eyes. But this location serves breakfast lunch and dinner. Parking on the main road they use park mobile app the best choice for parking. On certain days you make it 40 minutes free i.e. Weekends.

Pleasantly surprised by the amount of food you get and the price. Atmosphere is perfect for a district diner and the owner is personable and attentive. Doesnt matter what you order... you will be plenty full with most likely a box to take the rest home w you. A must stop for great food.

This small restaurant is a jewel. It is an incredible breakfast and lunch restaurant. You absolutely should stop here even if you have to change plans. Its that good. Abed a/k/a Diesel is a real gentleman and an artist at cooking fresh meals. Its a pleasure chatting with him and then watching him put orders together on the grill. Everything is done with care, not in haste, and the results are in every bite on your fork. The chicken fried steak platter with poached eggs and cheese grits in the picture was partly his recommendation and I scarfed it down. I shall return!

Wow is all I can say! Breakfast is absolutely AMAZING here! Mom & son working perfectly together- Diezel on the grill & Mom taking care of customers! It’s obvious that this a local favorite for Winchester residents! All my husband could say on our ride back to Virginia Beach was “that was sooo good!”

Well let me start by saying, unbelievable! Found this place on google while passing through the area. Food was incredible,.only stools at the bar and we watched Abbot do his magic. Had 2 eggs over, sausage home fries and a side of biscuits and gravy. Won’t find a better place to be. Patrons were nice, funny and good conversations. My wife and I were staying at the George Washington Wyndham and their food service was shut down due to COVID-19. We asked for a recommendation for breakfast and another guest suggested the Piccadilly Grill. At first we werent sure but with few other options, we went in. We are certainly glad we did. If you are looking for an old school experience-- plentiful and good diner food, do not pass this place up. While it is a one-man show, the cook/owner never stopped working. He was conscious of all the orders, the customers, and worked the grill and counter seamlessly. At one point I even asked him when he was going to start juggling. Given the queue of orders, it took a little bit of time, but the wait was paid off with full plates of outstanding meals. Its a tough time for such businesses, but hes doing his best to make it work. Although another reviewer criticized the prices, it was more than fair--for Virginia or anywhere else. If youre ever in Winchester in the morning, make a point to stop here. You wont be disappointed.

My wife and I visited Piccadilly Grill Diner a couple of days ago for breakfast. We posted a review on Yelp that the food and service were outstanding. We like frequenting small business, so we decided to try lunch. Again, simply OUTSTANDING! Pride in food preparation and quality of ingredients are obvious. The restaurant is a lunch counter and has numerous regulars. Abed (Diesel) greets everyone with a smile and a can do attitude. I had a burger and my wife had a BLT. We werent disappointed. The fries were phenomenal and the burger and sandwich were great too. We just moved to the area, but believe we have found our new favorite place to go. Great place to grab a bite!

Excellent breakfast! We stayed at the George Washington Hotel across the street for two nights and had breakfast here both mornings. Very friendly gentleman running this diner. Very small with limited seating and cash only just so you’re prepared, but definitely make this a stop on your visit to downtown Winchester.

This is a defiant place to try. The owner is amazing and friendly as well as the regulars. Will be back

Love this diner! You know the food is fresh when Diezel forms each sausage patty by hand and slices the potatoes for each order of home fries before putting them on the grill. Diezel, the owner/chef/cook/waiter is a pleasure to talk to and makes certain each order is just right. Gotta go to the Piccadilly Diner if you’re in Winchester for a visit or a local looking for a regular spot for breakfast or lunch.

My boyfriend and I stopped here for lunch, not really knowing any good places in town since we are out of the area. This was the first place we spotted and I am so glad we did! The chef (and the waitress whom I presume to be his mother) were so welcoming and inviting from the moment we walked in. It’s a small establishment, bar seating only, but the portion sizes were phenomenal and the food was out of this world delicious! I will definitely be coming back here again. Overall it was just a great experience, I highly recommend.

Real good for food real good price just a little too small

This place really surprised me. I ordered a reasonably priced grilled ham and cheese expecting deli meat, and I was amazed when they handed me a sandwich with three thick slabs of legit ham on it. I dont know what they did to it, but it was easily the best ham sandwich Ive ever eaten. 11/10. Definitely gonna be back for more food in the future. These folks keep it real and theyre really friendly, too.

If I could give more than five stars I would. We were at the GWH for our pre honeymoon stay and needed a spot for breakfast. This popped up and we walked over. Literally the cutestest little old school diner. Its run by a young man and his mother. You got to see him cook your food and let me tell you... It is some serious down home cooking. You had to wait a little but soooo worth the wait. This is a breakfast for champions and so looking foward to going back for a lunch! If you want great energy and a positive way to start the day... This is the spot.

There are breakfast places where everything is thought through and perfectly presented, and there are places with a guy and a grill that he REALLY knows how to use. This is that sory of place.The food here is classic diner food, made in the classic way, and it is amazing. Really, the best food in town, as the owner likes to claim.

We had a business lunch catered by Just like Grandmas, it was my first time ever hearing of this place and I have to say it was GREAT! We had chicken breast, tofu, green beans, salad, and bread pudding; normally when things are catered they are picked over, but not this time. EVERYTHING WAS GREAT! The banana bread pudding was absolutely delicious!!
