Eventually I was told that they cant guarantee color and I technically received the correct rock.I ordered Cheyenne Grey, which is described on the website as Mainly a grey and brown color decorative rock this material contains a variety of earth tones.In response to Michael with the Quality Team:I never agreed that I made the wrong purchase, I was informed that I made the wrong purchase and should have asked for a different grey rock, when in fact, there is, as you state, no guarantee that any of it will actually be grey.Thank you for the call to see if something else can be done (and to ask for an explanation of my original review), although the only option given to me was to find the means by which to return the rock to you myself and purchase something else from you, and hope that its the same color as described on your website.

Do not buy the bulk planters mix. Its light brown and full of rocks. I actually called because I figured they gave me the wrong dirt. So, I guess I got some expensive fill dirt 🤷‍♀️. My regular dirt is better for my pots and garden than this stuff.

Worst pioneer of them all. Bad customer service and they are so slow. Pioneer used to be a great company. It’s gone down hill so fast. They are just focused on the money and not the quality of their service and materials.

We were in and out in 10 minutes with our load of rock. It was decently priced too!! Great staff :-)

Poorly managed! This place never has Rapid thaw and when it does have some it is filled with 1.5 cobble... I have waited up to 20 minutes to be loaded with NO other customers in the lot! If you are in the snow removal business I would highly recommend going elsewhere ! Today I went by to get rapid thaw and the loader has been down for now going on 2 days! Total joke!

Really REALLY great customer service. I bought some AB block from Windsor and Sold me about 280 pieces of block. Calculations were right in and the 3 gentleman even helped make pellets to load on to my flat bed. Definitely will be back soon

Great prices and right by our house. Ricky and his team worked with us on product and pricing. You can’t go anywhere else for measurements. Very knowledgeable and will be back again. Great customer service overall best prices in town.

Not impressed. Paid $111 for a tiny load of mulch in a short bed truck. Would have cost $30 in Virginia and could have bought bags of mulch at one of the big box stores cheaper. Didnt even get the full scoop - a pile left on the ground behind the truck.

Definitely not a ton of topsoil. Place was convenient and close but $10 more than the competition for topsoil full of rocks. You get a way better deal in fort Collins without the rocks.Unfortunately will not return.

Really, REALLY poor customer service. Called to get a quote on ~400 retaining wall pieces yesterday (11am) and left a detailed message about pieces and quantities. Nothing, so I called again this morning and got a person, who didnt even offer his name. Asked him for a quote, have him the same information, was only given a price on individual blocks (every other supplier company has this information posted on their website, BTW), and told to do the math.When I inquired as to why one type of block which is half the size of the other of the same type was the same price, I couldnt get a straight answer.Only useful information I was able to get was that delivery is five weeks out.Nope. This is not how this industry works, nor is this how you restrain customers. Ive used you before, but never again.

I went in to Pioneer and had no idea what I was doing. Thanks to Ricky and Mona I was able to figure how much rock I needed. I am now coming tomorrow to buy some of the AB block. Would go back anytime 10 out of 10 customer service.

Went in and ordered river rock from them. The customer service was horrible. Not sure if she was having a bad day but was very rude. Called left a message to cancel my order. They even called next day to see if needed or wanted it delivered. I told them I wanted it canceled. They still delivered it. Will never use them again. First time writing a review. (After my review they made thing right.

We came in to the Windsor location and spent an hour picking out and labeling boulders. We waited three weeks for the delivery only to find out they lost our order and hadn’t weighed anything.Update on previous 1 star review:Store manager reached out and made right on the order that we had placed. Went to Windsor Friday and wanted to buy mulch. I had no idea on what in we doing. Ricky and his staff helped me pick the correct mulch and convert the measurements I had to get the correct yardage. Ive done occasional business with these guys for years- even when other places are closer- because service is typically friendly and fast and pricing in the ballpark (though not always the best). I typically buy 5-15 yards and in the past have gotten a truckload discount but now there seems to be no volume discount available per recent visit.

I run a small landscape company and use pioneer for every thing. The staff at the Windsor store is very knowledgeable and has great customer service. I needed 7 tons of a type of flagstone they didnt have. Helen did her best to get us the rock we needed. She had it brought in from many different stores but made this project possible. And gas always gone the extra mile for her customers. I would recommend Pioneer to every one.

Great place to get redwood mulch, highly recommend. People that work there are very patient and nice to work with.

The planters mix is overpriced and no better than regular Colorado soil. I ordered a large amount and have a lot of gravel, large rocks, and hard clumps of clay in the mix. Dont waste your money on this product, its basically fill dirt.
