For our wedding, we were asked to pick out a couple photos of what we wanted our floral aesthetic to be. Ramsey worked out of a vision board and made magic happen. We have photos of us walking in for the first look and we were smiling ear to ear. Everything turned out truly beautiful, from the floral installation that hung from the ceiling to the table top arrangements it made our wedding spectacular. Thank you Ramsey and team for working so hard to make our night an endless memory.

Stay away! This company dropped the ball again and again. With NO REMORSE. Ramsey Prince, changed things without asking. Forgot to order the tent until the week before event. Then found out due to Rider Cup there were none available. So 1 tent turned into 3 smaller ones. Didnt remotely work, had people sitting outside eating dinner. He layed out to the backyard design with Google maps - had wrong house! Even though he had been at the house prior. He cancelled the dance floor since it wouldnt fit in smaller tents, but bride was not told until day of wedding! My lawn took a beating and dancing on grass doesnt work. Nobody cleaned up. 2 days later I still have piles of dirty dishes in yard. I had to ask 4 families members who put 4 hrs each into clean up. All garbage is still here and, garage is trashed. Was to be, when done as if they were never here! It would have been if never hired. Much more but point is made. All photos were taken on Monday, event was Saturday.

I cannot recommend Ramsey and Maison du Prince more highly. Their taste is exquisite and really the best place on the North Shore to get this taste level. Beyond their gorgeous flowers, their service is unmatched. They have made my parties very special and when a friend got some bad news late in the day, they were able to put together a stunning arrangement and get it delivered to brighten her day. We are so lucky to a locally owned business like Maison du Prince on the North Shore!

I’ve been working with this shop to provide floral for my corporate events since they opened. No matter if it’s a small purchase or large Ramsey puts his creative genius to use and blows me and my clients away every time. I’ve also recently started using the shop for our corporate gifting program and I’ve only heard wonderful things back from our clients. I think the best thing about the store is every time I walk in it’s filled with beautiful new merchandise. If you’re in the Winnetka area you must stop in.

I just do not know what to say! Ramsay Prince of Maison du Prince created an epic birthday celebration for me. People are still talking about the tablescape. Every single nuance, every detail was magnificent. Others have tried, but no one has been able to duplicate this level to date! I have used him in the past and will continue to use him in the future for all of my high end events.

I came in looking for a special flower arrangement, and was graced with the most beautiful bouquet! This shop has such exclusive flowers from unique counties, flowers that you’ve never even heard of before. Thats what sets MDP apart from other boutiques. That, paired with great hospitality, youre walking into a shop that is primed with only the most tasteful products from a talented owner, Ramsey Prince. If I ever need a stylish and professional resource for a wedding or event, this is my first choice. Def recommend!

Ramsey’s artistic direction took our wedding reception to a new level! He was wonderful to work with and managed the process with warmth, professionalism and his enthusiasm was always contagious. Ramsey’s use of votives, lanterns and vintage vases, in addition to florals, added dimension and sophistication. Ramsey’s extensive talents are drawn from many years of advanced experience in the industry. I was thrilled to see he opened a beautiful shop recently. He constantly supports his community. I would highly recommend Maison du Prince for any event.

For clarity, this review is about Ramsey, I understand there are two partners in this business. Ramsey marketed himself to my cousin as a wedding planner. To any brides out there, I ask you do yourself the service of not hiring him. My cousin was anxious and upset for most of what was supposed to be her special day. Ramsey ordered the tents for the outdoor, backyard wedding the week of the wedding. He tried to tell my cousin that it was the tent company’s fault. Follow up with the tent company exposed that as a lie. He had his crew set up the tents in the wrong yard, thankfully the neighbor is one of my uncle’s friends. He forgot to order a dance floor, the table number setup was wrong, the list goes on. The icing on top is that he left the reception site before guests or my cousin arrived to catch a flight. I am not sure if this is the first wedding “planned” by this company, but I certainly hope it’s the last and I strongly recommend choosing another vendor.

I had just moved into a tiny apartment in SF and needed an urgent design consult. Ramsey was prompt, thorough and helped me execute a decor aesthetic beyond what I thought I was capable of achieving in the challenging space. I would recommend his expert touch for large and small spaces alike !

I live out of town and ordered flowers to be delivered for my friends birthday. I emailed the owner when they didn’t arrive, and he responded immediately. Turns out somebody had taken them off her doorstep and he was kind enough to send a new delivery. I really appreciated the quick response and the excellent customer service and the fact that he replaced my friends order. Beautiful flowers an exceptional customer service, I would definitely use again.

Maison Du Prince very recently handled all floral and lighting decorations for my daughters wedding. The work product was nothing short of superb, Ramsey was great to work with, had wonderful ideas and was a total professional in all ways. I highly recommend him.

Where do I begin. This company did absolutely nothing but create more stress for the couple on their wedding day. A few things that went wrong? The tents ordered way ahead of time were way too small leaving more than half of the guests eating outside of the tent during dinner. There was NO dance floor. When did the bride and groom find out about this? On the way to their reception. The bride had worked countless hours on a champagne wall seating chart, upon arrival there was no champagne wall and instead empty champagne glasses with a bottle next to it to have to pour your own. The couples ACTUAL WEDDING CEREMONY was delayed because the correct amount of flower bouquets was not even provided to the bridesmaids so everyone had to wait for more to be delivered before the couple even walked down the aisle. This meant the couple was unable to take all pictures in the church after the ceremony due to the delay in delivery. Now lets move on to the reception, the generator went out, head table had no centerpieces or candles and there were not enough glasses ordered so we had to place water bottles on the tables instead and take them up and down for pictures so the couple could achieve ANY part of the dream wedding they envisioned. The centerpieces that were promised and already paid for were wrong. Then after all of this he left and hopped on a plane out of state before the reception even though he was paid for set up and take down. So the owners of the home that hosted the wedding were the ones who had to go outside and pick everything up. When confronted about ANY issues at all Ramsey pointed fingers at anyone but himself. Upset that I HAVE to give one star to even post for this company because it does not deserve even that.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!Where do I begin?Ramsey Prince helped plan my wedding and made sure everything ran smoothly!Im very hard to please but he exceeded all my expectations!we trusted him to bring in his network of people and he delivered on all fronts. The bouquets had such a high attention to detail and his staff arrived early and made us feel like we were in good hands...AND WE WERE.I wanted golden decor big cascades of flowers hanging from every surface and a variety of candles and he brought in beautiful gold rimmed plates and golden cutlery and sat me down at his beautiful shop in Winnetka to show me potential options for candle holders and flower containers. we were able to create a striking mood board from the experience and he Delivered it all! I wish i could get married again to have this experience but id be very happy to have him plan more events and I plan to ask him to do many more!!

Ramsey and the entire team at Maison Du Prince are wonderful to work with. Ive had the opportunity to work with Ramsey on a few clients weddings/events now and can truly say they are a wonderful addition to the North Shore!

Yikes! Talk about a fraud! Do NOT coming to this place unless you want to have everything go wrong.They claim they are “not” event planners but yet had no problem taking the money from the bride and groom for all the wedding details! That’s misleading information and ILLEGAL!!!They wrote in other reviews about only providing flowers and decor……..well the flowers were wrong and some missing all together and half the decor that was paid for in full never showed up!!!! This wedding had no dance floor, the tents were wrong, centerpieces were missing, oh and the wedding guest had to HELP SET UP before the bride and groom arrived!!!! To top it off this company has taken no accountability and didn’t even show up at the wedding and left the wedding guest and bridal party to scramble to get things organized! Let me just remind you that several THOUSAND dollars worth of things that were paid to Madison du prince did not show up to the wedding and NO REFUNDS have been made! A lawsuit should easily be taken against this owner!!!

WOW. This store has everything and more, I got lost doing circles because you couldnt absorb everything in one pass. Flowers bring me a lot of joy, and Ramseys shop gives me variety. Plus, hes fabulous to chat up ;)

I am the grandmother of the bride. She is a very detailed and thoughtful person. She put hours in plan ing this wedding. The reception was held in my son’s back yard.After all the hours of organizing and planning this company Madison Du Prince let her down totally. From flowers, tents, champagne wall, proper glasses and dishwater, dance floor, etc. etc.etc,.The most important day in her life and this so called “business” let my granddaughter down along with my son who supplied the location for her wedding. The whole aftermath was left for family and friends to clean up.I am EXTREMELY disappointed for my granddaughter and Mr “Maison Du Prince” you left town and couldn’t be reached for any kind of help. You knew you messed up so you left town to avoid the repercussions.From me to you….your company is worthless.BRIDES AND GROOMS DONT GO THERE.

The owner of this company is essentially a scam artist. He was hired to plan my brother & sister in laws wedding and did not do anything that they had paid him for. Everything was wrong and on the day of the wedding, he left the woman who works with him there by herself to handle the chaos that he created. A bride and groom hire planners to help with stress, not create it. If I could give this negative stars, I would.*I would also like to update this after seeing the owners response. This is regarding Ramsay, not his partner.

He did not order tents on time and we showed up to the wedding to find out he also didn’t order the dance floor! Oh and he didn’t bother to show up to the wedding either. Terrible at communication and would suggest no one use him for your special occasion!And as you can see from all the negative reviews, he always have an excuse. Bottom line is he dropped the ball and cannot admit his fault and make reparations.

Many people ended up eating dinner outside the tent.- Paid for bridal and bridesmaid bouquets. Not only were they significantly smaller, half of them weren’t even delivered. Entire wedding was held up waiting for the rest of the bouquets and as a result, the bride and groom were allowed minimal pictures at the church where they were married.- ON THE WAY TO THE reception, the bride and groom learned there would be no dance floor. They paid thousands of dollars to have this and it was completely missing with no refund and no apology- The head table had empty vases where the (EXPENSIVE) centerpieces were supposed to be.- There were no water glasses at tables. Instead, we were provided with lovely Costco plastic water bottles… really killing the aesthetic here.- Bride constructed a beautiful champagne wall, where champagne was to be poured and guests could find their names and corresponding table numbers. It was a HALF full (some champagne flutes, some regular wine glasses) wall, and none of the champagne had been poured… just like a hey, pour your own, whatever, type deal. Ridiculous.- Catering company was promised bowls to pass a few dishes family style. No bowls were provided, they were left scrambling to find a substitute.- Clean up was promised by Monday at the latest. Last night the parents of the bride, the bride and groom, and the sister-in-law of the bride went to clean up when it was obvious that no cleaning was happening.- This is the best part. Ramsey Prince, the wedding planner/coordinator, did not even grace us with his presence for the reception. We found out at the time that he was already on a plane across the country.And lastly, no, I do not accept that Maison du Prince is unwilling to take responsibility for any of this. They’ve sent us multiple contradictory statements and overall been just as unreliable as the pathetic excuse of a planner THAT WAS ON THEIR PAYROLL.

If you are looking for someone to help coordinate your wedding, let me offer you my 2 year old. We showed up to the church (as bridesmaids) to find out that 3 bouquets were not made and sent with us. We had to wait to walk down the aisle until those bouquets finally arrived. When they did, it was clear that they were forgotten and rushed, as they still had thorns on them. Beyond stressful, as we were prepared to ditch the $1000 bouquets so it wouldnt look strange with 1/3 missing.

We utilized Maison Du Prince for our wedding last month, and the service was above and beyond what we had expected. I came to Ramsey with a vision over a year ago for our originally planned NYE wedding. We moved our wedding up, and not only was Ramsey flexible with our date, but he took our vision and made it fit our new plan. I was blown away by the set up for both our ceremony and our dinner. My flowers were amazing as well. Weve also stopped at the shop and had such a wonderful experience. I highly recommend Ramsey and Maison Du Prince for all of your floral/decor needs!
