John was so helpful in gearing my son up to fish locally. He caught a great Talapia right after we left. Also gave us tips on where to go nearby to fish. We will be back!

This is a bait and tackle shop next to the trashy bar Caribbean Bay Nightclub. This bait and tackle shop has the bare minimum of what constitutes an actual bait and tackle shop/store. It’s dirty. The man at the counter was too busy on the phone both times I was there to even acknowledge the only customer in the store which was me. Neither time did I buy anything from the dump or piece of garbage running the store at the time.

Best place for drinks and dance come on your motorcycle car truck or boat it great atmosphere weekend great bands all day kerioki 3 times a week crowd is all ages well 21 and up

Awesome bait & tackle shop. Organized and knowledgeable. Loved the multi bait tubs. Prices are average & some are cheaper than Walmart!

Not a bad bait shop but google maps sends you to the wrong side of the lake. Its right in front of tanners lakeside bar and grill yet it sends you to the north end of the lake. Please fix your address so this doesnt happen

Best Rum runners. Great atmosphere. Love the tiki hut. On the water. Every Sunday Nancy puts out free food and has great bands. The staff are the best. If you havent been there must go by boat or car. Always a great time no matter what day or time. Sundays are the one of the best. Listening to live music and having great drinks with great people.

Come by car or boat to this quaint and cozy bar to escape the brutal Florida heat. Sit inside and breathe in refreshing cold A/C or outside under the straw hut. Either way you will enjoy watching boats float by as the traverse the Winter Haven Chain of Lakes.

I always get butt groped when I go here.. not cool. But the scenery is nice, good drinks. Water front and live music. Probably wont be going back to be honest.. dont really appreciate having men rub their junk across your bottom when they walk by.

Love love love the live band! The owner is a sweet, kind, and friendly lady. The atmosphere is very welcoming and loving. The dock out back is nice to peer off of. Avoid the stage lights, they attract the little buggers but other than that, amazing place!

What a fun place . Good drinks at good prices. Very good band BlindSighted. Another night had Karoke that was so well done it made the night . Very fun couple of nights spent there . Highly recommend this place

We stopped to this eclectic out of the way place called Caribbean Bay the tiki bar caught our eye. Many people were there with their boats to help Clean the chain of Lakes. Lots participated which was a very good thing. We both had a drink and sat outside on their tiki roof covered patio to take in the beautiful coastal views. Patrons with K9s were also welcomed inside. Very cool to see.

I posted about this on yelp 2 months ago, but it seems pertinent that I also post it here. I recently moved from Lake County, so I stopped here after work for bait & to find out what was biting in the area. The guy was incredibly rude and condescending from the moment I walked into the shop. It was very odd...after I spoke and advised I wanted to browse his selection, I had to excuse myself to get in as he was blocking the entire doorway. It was literally impossible for me to enter the shop and even after I excused myself, he barely moved to his right so I could squeeze by. I attempted to make conversation about the bite and what baits to try, but he gave me this look as I spoke and didnt say a word. It was just awkward and uncomfortable. He finally mentioned minnows werent working, but Id had enough by then...no chance I was spending a dime there. I had every intention to pick up a few things for my tackle box, but refuse to give my hard-earned money to a place that treats customers like they are an unwanted burden.After reading the recent reviews, it all makes sense.

We were in town on vacation, and the shop owner was very helpful and knowledgable about the local lakes and the laws that govern fishing fresh water from the docks. Got the supplies we needed, and my boy caught his very first fresh water large mouth bass! Thanks!

If I could give the bait shop employee 0 stars I would. I go here many times a week and buy bait, any size. Almost every time I try to get minnows they are out, as they were again this evening. The employee whom referred to himself as the boss man is rude EVERY SINGLE TIME I go and he is there. Tonight he was extremely unprofessional. I told him it was the 3rd time I have come for minnows and he said well I only have 2 or 3 people that buy them, and was told to get the f* out of the store after purchasing mediums and telling him he should have what the customers want. I will take my business elsewhere from today forward.

Inside or out this is a fun laid back place to have a few right on a lake and there is rock music on Sundays also they putt out a nice buffet of food and deserts for everyone. THE BEST Rum Runners on the planet.

Nancy the owner is a sweetie but she is very opinionated and will tell it like it is.Great bands on Sat night and Sunday afternoons.Alternative smoking is encouraged in the screen room but you must pass dat.

I feel sad for the owner. I was treated terrible with racial comments; but I accept the guy apologies and forgive. God will take care of bad actions. I hope my situation never happened again to anyone and the gentleman that attack me very heavy verbally will ask for God forgiveness. Im praying that his heart really understand the damage he can cause with the attitude for him the business and customer. Hope is a lesson for him and the owner understand why was he wrong. Dont waste your time at this dump err baitshop..They have very little tackle and the Big Bubba employee is rude.. When I walked in he let it be known he would be closing soon through a series of grunts.He then proceeds to peak around the corner as I walked into the adjacent room.. Lol, as if I would steal anything from this piss poor store. FYI, I have more tackle in my 50k Bass Boat..Never again
