Good store. Nice location and good customer service

This place has so many DEALS!!! Is Big Lots going out of business? Anyway, the store wasnt packed at all. Probably not more than 10 people in the entire store, including employees (maybe). I guess people dont often buy gift cards for their mothers from Big Lots; the workers took a while to figure out a $15 purchase when my lil bro tried buying a card. However, they got the job done!

I am happy with the prices of most items. The customer service for the most part is average.

Discount store? Its much more pricey than some other stores. It used to be cheaper but now, it feels much more expensive.

The bathroom was terrible. Very dirty floor. Clogged bathrooms. No napkin to dry. Very bad impression. It is unfortunate because it is a good store.

Torrian at the Winter Haven Florida store provided excellent customer service. He went above and beyond and was very knowledgeable. He took the time with us that we needed and answered all questions very quickly and nicely.

I challenge you to attempt to purchase furniture here. Though there’s a big selection and even items on sale they do not have what you want. You can order something but as they will tell you there’s no guarantee you’ll get it. Once you travel to the other Big Lots to purchase furniture you soon learn there’s something fishy going on. I suggest not wasting your time attempting to buy furniture here. Ignore the ads for sale items it is a scam of some sort.

Big Lots is clean and well organized. The aisles are a little tight, but manageable. Merchandise is plentiful and varied.

I have always liked Big Lots. The pricing is reasonable and there is a lot to select from. The only drawback to this location was the furniture selection was small. Im used to seeing more storage shelves and desks. They have a good variety of healthy snacks here like organic dried fruit and protein bars.

I love Big Lots! I always find great bargains to stock up on! The store was very clean and employees were helpful and courteous!

The bathrooms are atrocious! The staff were pleasant.

People very rude and nothings price correctly

We went there searching for furniture changes to downsize & reorganize. We looked around, tried the chairs and waited for assistance from a salesperson. Finally a young man came from the back and we started peppering him with questions; however the MANAGER called him away to do something else. No apology & no one else to help us. We waited a bit & took pictures of a few contenders hoping to get further assistance. The manager finally came back over and spoke to us from across the room in a condescending way about the current sale & financing. We were actually considering purchasing the item & having it delivered. Well those plans changed quickly & we made a vow to never purchase from them again. Sad thing is we bought a recliner from them several months ... maybe a year prior to this and it was a totally different experience.

Big Lots had everything for summer at great prices .lots of yard ornaments, gazebos, umbrellas, different kinds of string lights. They also sell groceries and pet supplies. If you need carpet or furniture they do deliver

Absolutely terrible. Delivery team gave me the rudest experience I’ve ever encountered. Management at this store isn’t any better. I’ve had to call no less than 5 times over 2 months to just get the STATUS on the item that needed to be ordered to replace my defective item. Absolutely unreal. Incompetent and VERY poorly managed. I will never order something from this store again.

They have something on sale they should have more than a few sizes. I asked an associate and she pointed to the front display that had like a 4X4 area that would be where she said is all they had. That is all we had. So if we have any that is where they will be. Wow!! Guess that is a wasted trip. I will go elsewhere. From now on with that customer service. Goodness. I know it is closeout and all but goodness.

I bought 2 beds at this store. I’m very happy with the selection and quality. The delivery is contracted out and he only takes cash, but I’ve used him twice and he’s a very nice guy.I have bought food and other grocery and household items there. I like this store, employees are helpful.

Always liked Big Lots. All employees are very friendly and always great you. Love the prices and they have a lot of speciality foods. Im planning to purchase mattress set with their financing.It is easy to apply for even if your credit is fair. $49 upfront and you take it home right then and there.I purchased a 4 foot pre lit white Christmas tree, plaid bow and gold and red ornaments all for $20.

We found what we were looking for and then some. Store has a great assortment of products, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and organized departments.

Worker was very helpful, we didnt find what we needed but she tried to find similar items through the system, clean and sanitary.

I spend a lot of money at Big Lots. The furniture staff is incompetent. Who the hell sells a mattress without a boxspring, it got to my house no boxspring. Says online and in store its included in the price but its not. Will not ever spend another dime at this store. Will go elsewhere.

Hello my experience was fine Irene checked me out quick and easy she was very professional. All I bought was razor blades and I looked for powdered bleach either the tablets or powder and no luck either they were out or they dont carry it. But always worth a try! Great store great people!

Just picked up a bed from here and its very nice.

Manny, in furniture department, is the standard in customer service!!! He did everything right! He greeted us when we came into the store. When it was time to make a a purchase, he checked to see if it was in stock and could fit our vehicle. He covered the Big Lots reward card, financing, and the extended warranty. Even tough I had just signed up for the rewards program and had not gotten my discount code yet, he applied the discount (I was also prior military as well). It was a pleasure having Manny serve us with excellence and distinction.

I canceled an order on April 17th and still being charged. I have been working with Shanda at big lots and she has no clue. She was suppose to cancel this order and look its May 15 and the transaction is still pending on my account. My advise to you guys do not order online first and last time. I still have no response.

The store is great but the reason for the poor review is because they will sell you a warranty on the furnature and the warranty is useless. The warranty is through Amynta and is a waste of money. DO NOT purchase the warranty.

Really decent prices. This store is a hit or miss. If you see it and want it, get it. It may not be there later. I like the snacks and cereal prices... Very cheap for named brand items. Occasionally, they offer 20% off, this applies to furniture too!I recently purchased a gazebo for under 300.00 because it was out if season. I love it!

Delivery w 53 dry van, scissor lift on NE corner of building on Ave O facing 1st. Staff friendly and helpful.

Store manager incompetent. Purchased furniture and they told me it was in stock and I was waiting for it they didnt have it. Bad communication and bad service. Kept me waiting over 30 minutes outside.

I could not get my 5 $ off on the coffee cause I dont have it down loaded on my phone . the bar code I showed her the picture but she said I had to have the bar code

This is a older store and is not very organized and is very stuffy. We had to leave early because it was so uncomfortable in the store.

They have a great selection of furniture and holiday decorations.

Be careful when order furniture they will tell you 2 weeks to fet it, but wont get it till 6-8 weeks.

Because of the unique way that Big Lots does business sometimes shells can be a little empty. Today was one of those days. I still found a great deal on SpaghettiOs for the kids so its all good

Went in on Sunday night to buy a new bed (mattress, box spring, and frame set). Was told I could have it all delivered on Tuesday (yesterday). Delivery guy shows up with just the frame set. Big lots said there was a mix up, delivery guy would go back to the store and get the mattress and box spring. Call the delivery guy around 630pm, he says big lots was supposed to call us to tell us it wouldnt be delivered until Wednesday(today). We go up to the store and tell them to forget the delivery, just give us the stuff and well haul it out selves since I no longer had a bed in my room. The assistant manager says well you can take the mattress and box spring but youll have to wait until the deliver guy comes back with the frame to take that. She pretty much said she needed proof that we did not have the frame delivered. Why would we accept an incomplete delivery? She had no interest in calling the delivery guy to verify he still had it. Ended up getting the whole purchase refunded and having to set my old bed back up without a frame. Do yourself a favor and buy your furniture from a real furniture store that knows how to handle deliveries properly.

I purchased a couch from here and paid for it same day. They said that it would be delivered the next day at 9 am. I took the morning off so I could be there and the delivery guy never showed. I called big lots and they called him. He told them he had came and no one was there. Absolutely not! I have done business with this store for years. I spend a lot of money here. No more.

An older, run down Big Lots. A lot if empty isles. They still have a lot of stuff, though. Watch the prices. .out stuff is cheaper, but a few things are not.

More expensive than I expected.

A fun store to look around in and probably find some great bargains. The staff has always been very friendly. Just remember that many of the items are discontinued. When something is sold out it probably wont be restocked. If you are OK with that then you will really like this store. You never know what kind of long ago favorites you may find.

Positive- nice and helpful staff, good variety, relatively clean store. Negative - Slow check out at times, multitudes of misplaced items and unstocked items left by staff in excruciatingly small aisles. A person in a wheelchair or scooter would not be able to navigate all the aisles or corners. Some aisles are so small, 2 carts cannot pass.each other.

They have great deals on spices. Since I do a lot of coming I use a lot of spices. $1 for a large bottle of different spices is a steal.

They went above-and-beyond, and displayed great customer service!!Doris even  made sure I didnt forget my bag.This is a great location!Only critique would be for them to be able quantify items.Opposed to scanning one-by-one. They could be a lot more efficient than scanning (96) items individually.

We have been frequent and loyal customers to the Big Lots in Winter haven FL. In the last year or more customer service has gotten terrible and practically nonexistent. We had made numerous attempts to the store in attempts to pick up items laid away but EVERY time there was NO assistance in the furniture department. We would go to Store’s Customer Service Counter and they would call for assistance. We waited 30 minutes to an hour each time and we would eventually would leave without it. It was a big problem but the depth of which was recently revealed when we attempted to pick up our paid off layaway purchases for furniture on &/24/2018. We waited for 20 minutes then finally found a store associate to page someone. It took another 15 for an employee to show up. Then We were told that the records for mine were ‘purged’ and that my daughters were delivered (Not to us). They can’t release information about the delivery which seems awfully shady! The associate then called for a MGR (Lorie) who could offer no assistance nor apology. She told us our only recourse was to contact corporate. Upon doing so we were told it has to go through store manager who has yet to return any calls. Neither end will help us which amounts to close to $2000 in losses. DO NOT PUT ITEMS ON LAYAWAY at this location. I have even stopped shopping there because you can’t even get through register in under 30 minutes. This store is in serious need of corporate intervention and removal of all Management at this location Immediately!

Inexpensive prices for basic household items. May not always have what you want or if you find something you like this time they may not have it next time you go. But so long as you understand that, then it is a great way to save money

Shopped many times. Service was and is excellent.

Clean, well stocked. It has a good furniture section with great prices. Small amount of decor items. Lots of pillows, blankets, bedding. Outdoor items take up a big section, with a good selection of outdoor furnishings along with some casual gardening items and decor, pots for plants, garden hoses etc.

We have been shopping at Big Lots for many years. It is no longer a great bargain at Big Lots. Their prices have gone way up, many of them the same as or higher than WalMart. That is very sad, so we dont shop there too often any longer.
