My parents was moving into an assisted living facility and we needed some expert advice regarding the value on some of their Persian rugs and other antiques . We contacted Sia and he was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. Without his help we would not have been able to make decisions on how to proceed. We were looking for a 9x12 oriental rug and found Winter Park Rug Gallery. Sia, the owner was very friendly and helpful. He has a good selection of various colors, sizes and patterns. Some are bright and vibrant. Some are more subdued. We wanted something with soft gold tones with some teal accents. And we found a perfect rug for our home. He was gracious enough to give the rug a good cleaning before we put it in our home. Once we got it home, it fit perfectly with our room decor.Thanks Sia for all your help. He does a fabulous job cleaning antique oriental rugs. I would not take my rugs to anyone else. He really knows what he is doing and takes personal pride in his work. I’ve had two very cherished antique rugs cleaned by him and they have come out beautifully. He is also very timely completing the job. Always answers his phone and calls you back when the job is done.

Our dog ate the corner of our new rug and I thought we would have to get rid of it, but Sia was able to match the color of the rug perfectly and bind the edges so that we can still use the rug. It looks great- he was quick and very reasonable. Highly recommend!

Met Sia recently when I was desperately trying to find out a fair market value for Persian rugs owned previously by my family. He was so friendly and incredibly helpful in identifying the exact origins of the rugs and what specific decade they were made as well as other professional verbiage specific to each of the five rugs I showed him detailed photos of. We chatted for some time as I was overwhelmed by his openness to helping me so we started talking about other things related to the rug business and what’s happened overall to the value of many of these oriental rugs. I felt him to be a very honest, kind man. I decided to keep one of the rugs and brought it in to him for cleaning and he did a fantastic job. Thanks Sia! He’s also very knowledgeable about other antiques and has a store filled with beautiful objects. If he doesn’t know the piece’s value you’re bringing into him, he’ll research until he finds some idea. I think he would be a great person to work with whether you’re in the market to buy or sell something of value .
