I would not bring your car here if your a college kid or don’t know much about mechanics. I was driving by and noticed them advertising 20 dollar A/C checks. My A/C was blowing out hot air at the time so I took it to them thinking maybe it just needed to be charged. They informed me my compressor had a leak and I would need a BRAND NEW one and they could do it for the low price of 600 dollars! At which I happily declined and gave them Mr. Andrew Jackson in my pocket and I took my business elsewhere to a different mechanic not even a week later for a second opinion. And guess what… all he did was just charge my A/C and it’s been running cool for over 2 months now. They told me I needed A WHOLE NEW COMPRESSOR FOR 600 DOLLARS. Then they gave me my car back still blowing out hot air. I called the manager and he basically informed me that because I didn’t get the 600 dollar compressor they would of had no reason to charge my A/C which supposedly had a leak but someone else charged it and it’s running like a freaking beauty. NOT GOOD BUSINESS. STAY AWAY

They dont know what there are doing or just crooks. My broke pedal was hitting the floor and skidding noises were coming out. Made me spend $400+ on a new part, did not fix the problem at all. Tried to get me to spend another $200. I said im not paying but they some how got it to work anyway.

My vehicle overheated and required radiator, hoses, fan and reservoir replace. Needless to say an extremely costly repair. Gene and Jason did their best to reduce the overall costs and the final product. My family will continue to have Tuffy maintain our vehicles. Thanks guys!

A very dear friend of mine needed some help with her car leaking coolant. She asked me to assist her in finding a shop. Since the car was 4 miles away from this location and the reviews seemed to be good. I called and spoke with Tara, explained the car is leaking coolant and asked what would it take to get an estimate of repair for my good friend. She told me to have her bring it in and when I asked how much for the diagnosis, I was told no charge as we’re just looking for a leak and we wouldn’t be doing an actual diagnosis where you would typically use a tool or instrument. That’s what I was told. After a couple days of they think all the hoses need to be replaced thermostat etc. for $1650 and 10 days wait for parts. I was told all the hoses were leaking. We decided to pick the car up, they charged us $35 claiming they diagnosed the problem. Got the car home and found it was a sheered radiator mount bolt that allowed the radiator to sag enough to put tension on where the hoses connect causing lose of pressure and fluid leaking. Set the radiator back in place, put a new bolt in and secured the loose hoses. No charge! Be careful bringing your car to this shop. Though I’d call back Tara at Tuffy today to let her know her shop misdiagnosed the car and thought she’d refund the cost but she disagreed. 8-13-21 Tuffy has tried to call the owner of the car several times and left messages. The owner does not return the call since shes NOT SATISFIED with the outcome and does not want to deal with your business. Let me be clear, my friend of 15 years (the owner) and myself are NOT SATISFIED as the owner states.

I showed up unannounced on a Saturday afternoon, because I was breathing fumes while driving my car, and I was a bit concerned as one can imagine. Everyone could not have been nicer or more welcoming. The waiting room is clean, everyone is upbeat and Jason and Gene really went the extra mile to make sure all was well. Great place. Saw their special advertise while driving. Came in was treated very well. I knew I needed back tires but was trying to postpone it. Never mention it. They brought to my attention and said only the back ones. So I knew that they are honest. Not trying to sell me 4 new tires. Went ahead and bought them and with everything I was good with the price. Definitely coming back.

I stopped by this location today and was helped by Keith wood. The service was absolutely phenomenal and got me in and out in less than 15 minutes. I noticed the covering under my car dragging the ground and popped in. I was missing 3 bolts, that seem to of been forgotten to be replaced on my last oil change that was NOT here! I will be back in 2 weeks for an oil change and tire rotation because if the amazing service from Keith! Keep hiring caring people like him, who gave great information and didn’t break the bank!

Last week, we brought our car into Tuffys to fix an issue with the ABS brake system and although it did not fix the intermittent issues we were having the original issue was corrected. Jason was willing and able to work with us towards a resolution that worked out best for us both.

Came to this location to have my AC charged after replacing the condenser suggested by an entirely different company. As they were charging the AC, they noticed a leak in a valve. They ordered the valve, it came in 10 minutes, they popped it in, and I was off. Funny thing is the other business quoted me $800 in AC repairs (new condenser and evaporator//condenser I ordered & put in myself) when in actuality it was just a $10 valve that needed to be fixed. These guys were honest, quick, professional, and super friendly. Theyre not out to rip you off, theyre really here to help. To the two gentlemen: Thank you so much for your help and honesty. Anthony and Victor do not know how to rotate tires properly. I was not asked how I wanted the tires rotated so I told them once it was on the jack i wanted x pattern rotation. They acted as though that was too much to ask but nodded and did it anyways. I am a trust but verify kind of person so I looked over the work afterwards and noticed that the driver side front tire ended up on the front again as did the driver back tire on the back (Indicated by wear and brake dust on front wheel) when I approached Anthony to ask him about it he immediately caught an attitude and brought Victor over he also caught an attitude and they both very loudly explained they were right and had done it properly (the evidence was right in front of their eyes it was not) but I was told i had to wait of I wanted it fixed needless to say after 15 mins waiting I left and went to the tuffy location down the road who confirmed their mess up and was super apologetic. This was my first time at a Tuffy and its probably my last. If they cant properly rotate tires I definitely wouldnt trust them to do anything else on a vehicle.

I went in for an oil change and they dented up my hood and on top of that they didn’t tell me anything about it, really disappointed in them they suppose to be professionals. I went and told them about it and they denied they dented up the hood. It’s not tuffys it just that store that not good.

As a female, its always intimidating taking your car in for repair, as many places try to take advantage of the lack of knowledge that they assume you have. I bought a car from the owner of this tuffy. I paid 1500 and it died 3 weeks later due to motor issues. They offered me a total engine replacement for a couple grand. I could not afford it at the time, so I decided to wait for the title to come in the mail so I could junk the car. The title never came so I had to pay an extra 60 dollars for a replacement title. After I purchased the car I never saw the owner again despite repeated attempts to contact him. He has decided to hide behind his employee Ralph. Ralph is a good person/employee and has been as helpful as possible throughout all of this. I feel bad for Ralph having to do his bosses dirty work. What a coward.

Chris, the owner was so helpful. I needed two new front tires and he got me a great price on it and paid extra for my tires to get here on time. He went out of his way and gave me a lift home because I forgot my payment at home. It was my first visit here and I was amazed at the way business is conducted at this place. I was given very important information on the status of my car and was taken to the car while it was still on the lift so I could physically see the problems. The gave me explanations for what was causing some of the problems that I had gone elsewhere and was told there was nothing wrong. I didnt even ask Tuffy to check these areas, but they took the initiative to check. The bottom line is that I was wishing I had come here a long time ago, not to mention the money I could have saved, because their prices were way better than other automotive places. I highly recommend this place for honesty and service .

Just left Tuffy and had a wonderful experience! My coolant has been leaking and I knew something was wrong but didnt know what. I originally made an appointment with Firestone down the street and after examining the car, I was told I needed a brand new radiator and quoted me $707 for the parts and labor. They even walked me out to the car to see the crack in the radiator. What they showed me was the residue from the coolant and knowing I dont know much about cars, I could only take their word for it. I paid for the diagnostic and left with a feeling that I needed to get a second opinion. I called Tuffy and they got me in right away. When all was said and done, I did not need a new radiator but simply needed to replace a hose. I was walked out to the shop by Richard and he simply pressed down on the hose and showed me exactly where it was leaking. Because of their honesty, I saved hundreds of dollars and I cannot thank them enough especially during this time of year. I would HIGHLY recommend Winter Springs Tuffy and planning to bring my car back here for regular maintenance and everything in between. Thank you guys again for your honesty and professionalism and getting me in and out in no time!

Called Tuffy and they told me to bring it in. I was in and out within an hour!! Service was fast and customer service was excellent!Definitely recommend this shop!

Definitely was the best service I have seen in the state of Florida. Not only was I taken care of in a reasonable amount of time ( 40 minutes) but the staff was very friendly and the manager was excellent and the text were very careful with my vehicle I would absolutely recommend this to anybody in the Orlando area. I will definitely be back for my oil change in about 3000 miles.

I took my family down to Cocoa beach this past weekend and on our way home to Live Oak, FL I noticed a grinding noise when I would press on the brakes. I am in no way mechanically inclined to say the least. I stopped at Tuffy just north of Winter Springs to have them check it out. The person who greeted us when we walked in was the owner Chris. I explained what was going on and he had one of his mechanics take my truck for a test drive. When the technician came back he and Chris explained I needed brakes on the front of our Tahoe. The rate was very reasonable and they had us on the road in less than an hour. I am very pleased in the service and would recommend them to anyone!

AAA Towtruck towed me here when my car died; they were great.... realistic about cost and time. If they can get you in, they do; if they can’t, they tell when they can, and work with your schedule. Prices are generally fair. They treat you well...I’d like to think it’s because they are good people but they also have incentive to be good and fair- - I think they are the only AAA-approved garage in the area, and they are not going to jeopardize their affiliation with AAA. Overall I trust them and will go back for oil changes and any other car needs I have.

I just came from Tuffy’s, and I must say that if there were more stars to give, I definitely would give them. The staff was very good, and welcoming. Now, I’ve come to this location in times past and received great treatment, however, this time was even better. Chris and Anthony are just phenomenal.
