Had my first wax today with Emily. She was super nice and made the process super easy & relaxing. Missed a few spots but I have blonde hair so I can understand it’s hard to see. Definitely will be continuing going here!

I appreciate the professional atmosphere of this business. With an appointment, Im usually taken to the back within 5 min of arrival and my chosen wax specialist, Quaniqua, is always professional and courteous. The prices here seem a bit higher than some of your random places for waxing services such as nail salons etc. but Im willing to pay the extra few dollars for the clean professional atmosphere.I purchased the wax pass which I think was a great deal however I do not like the inability to track my uses and remaining balance within my account when scheduling an appointment.I recommend this place.

I had Vaness and she was amazing. It was my first time getting a Brazilian wax and she made me feel so at ease. The front desk worker was also amazing. Their professionalism is top notch. I will definitely be returning. Thank you for making this experience relaxing.

Good clean environment. Waxers are friendly. I wasnt fortunate to find a waxer I could consistently rely on. As soon as I would find a waxer I liked they were leaving (mostly to relocate to areas outside of the capitol region). There were quite a few newbies. My results just didnt last as long as I wanted. Im going to try laser hair removal as a result.

Have been going here for quite a while now and love them! I would recommend going to Zara she is the best. She does my Brazilian waxes and takes her sweet time getting all of my hairs out which also last longer than other waxes, love her!!

The staff was friendly but the waxing was awful. It barely removed anything and I still had to pay full price and go somewhere else the next day to get it done correctly. I would not recommend going here for wax services. Ill only do sugar waxing from now on

I’ve been coming here for years and met almost every waxer. They are great and make you feel comfortable. They are only given a limited amount time with each client so it can cause delays for the next person if it takes longer than the allotted time.

I have up and down experiences here because i hate when they start tweezing even though its called WAX center. Tweezing causes ingrowns for me ijs.

She’s super fast so It didn’t hurt, she talks to you throughout the service so you’re comfortable, she’s knowledgeable about the products and answers all your questions about waxing, and aftercare. Just moved to Virginia and i went to the Woodbridge location. It was clean with great ladies assisting me through the entire process. ASK FOR JENNY! She was great and a great conversationalist. Before i knew it, i was done. Well worth the cost!

Love this location and my girl Shadonna always takes care of me. They adhere to all COVID rules so I feel very safe. I just moved but I will still drive all the way here to see them.

I had an amazing experience at this location from the check in process to the waxing! The receptionists were very sweet and informative. Kyanna was my waxer and she was phenomenal from start to finish. She was very gentle and informative. She talked me through the process step by step to prepare me for the waxing! I have been at this location several times with no issues. I went today for a scheduled service and was turned around due to having my two children with me who had on masks. I am by no means blaming them for the policy but it should have been communicated on the website or reminder email that was sent. It was a huge inconvenience to travel there first thing in the cool morning air with children, only to not be able to receive service. I am extremely disappointed especially because I needed this service prior to going out of town. To management, please communicate your policy more clearly when confirming appointments.

First time I came here I left with patches of hair on me to say it was my first time comming to this. And because of that I was iffy to come because even tho the specialist talked me through it I came home very un happy. So today I decided to come back and the wax specialist Marina was wonderful!!!! I’ve been getting waxed here for about 8 months and I have nothing but great things to say. I’ve been waxed by Crystal, Cheyenne and Stacy. All 3 of them have different styles but all have been great. They are knowledgeable on the products. Stacy spent time explaining to me when and how to exfoliate and moisturize so my Brazilians can be less painful. I really love how Cheyenne does my eyebrows. Everyone makes you feel comfortable and does such a great job (quick and effective). The front desk staff is always friendly and professional.

Had a great first experience. They had a wide range of availability, deals and specials. The technicians were professional and knowledgeable. I felt at ease within minutes and was able to get back to my day quickly.

I only come to European Wax Center when my primary waxer is unavailable because they are overpriced. I had my appointment on 6/3 at 7:30 and due to social distancing I had to wait outside. Since I arrived at 7:28 I didn’t think I was going to be waiting in the heat for too long but I ended up waiting for 45 minutes. Girls that arrived 30 minutes after me were seen and finished before I even got to go in. When I did go in I got no compensation for the wait time or even a sincere apology even though I was seen so long after my appointment. The only upside to this is the waxer, Michelle was amazing and was a perfectionist.

I booked an appointment online, and due to a waxer being sick they were not able to accommodate me with the time that I booked my appt for. It is very inconvenient for me. Not only that but they claimed I have two profiles and that is why they were not able to contact me because they called a number that I haven’t used in years. IF that was the case, why not try my OTHER phone number to exhaust all ways to reschedule my appointment. Manager (average size older white woman with dark hair) was absolutely NO help whatsoever. & the front desk girl (heavy set white girl with dark hair) couldn’t even handle the issue without stuttering. This is unacceptable and UNPROFESSIONAL as I am so annoyed I even spent money with this company and they don’t even attempt to help their clients. A later appointment would not have worked with my schedule, hence why I booked it at the time I booked it for. I hope someone from corporate gets in touch with me.

Absolutely my go to! The products and personnel are awesome! You can also purchase packages where you can buy a certain amount of passes and pay monthly. I personally am a regular of Cheyenne and recommended her numerous times. She is very professional and will also make sure the products she recommends are specifically what YOU need!

My husband and I see Victoria. Back at the alexandria location we had gone through specialist like you go through clothes. Quite often because they couldn’t seem to keep their staff. The turn around was ridiculous. Luckily Victoria also works at Woodbridge and since w removed recently we decided to go see her there. The location is rough, it’s in a large plaza. The staff was super kind and attentive. They followed COVID-19 protocols, had me and others wait outside. Away from each other, took our temperatures. Texted us when they were ready and you could head inside. My husband and I realized this location is just as far if not farther due to the route we’d have to take but it’s worth it for the customer service!

Do not support this business. I made an appointment and received an email confirmation and a phone call from the center to confirm. When I showed up, they had me down for a totally different time and would not honor the appointment that they confirmed twice. I had to hire childcare to get to this appointment, so they wasted my time and money. UNACCEPTABLE. Take your business elsewhere.

Missed my appt by 10 minutes and they were able to squeeze me in with another tech. I was sketchy at first but Stacy was fantastic. Very knowledgeable, sweet and fast! Definitely will be going back to see her!

Had my eyebrows and my 1st Brazilian wax done today and am hooked! When I walked in I let them know I was nervous about getting a Brazilian but the woman who checked me in assured me that its not as bad as you think. She really helped calm my nerves and was so helpful because I had questions!My technician was Courtney and she was the greatest. She kept me talking and let me know what was happening before she did anything. She also taught me so much about hair growth, waxing, skin care and even showed me how to fill in my eyebrows.The experience was way beyond anything I could have imagined in the best way possible. I will certainly be coming back and booking with Courtney. I highly recommend her if its your first time trying something new!

It would be nice to actually get a service. Their waxers are great but the management/system is a joke. I made an appointment for underarms and Brazilian waxing. They called to say my waxer is not available and can have me with another waxer a week before my appointment so I said okay and they just put me down for underarms. When I called back to add Brazilian waxing they agreed they can add the service. Mind you this was a week before my appointment time. The day before the appointment they called to say my waxer was unavailable, AGAIN. They said I could get underarms only when they said I could get both of the services a WEEK AGO. So I really needed to get a wax, made another appointment which they CANCELLED AGAIN A HOUR BEFORE THE APPOINTMENT. I appreciate calling me to let me know but I regret buying a pre-paid waxing at this place. I’ll go there to get my pre-paid waxing done that I paid for but the headache of rescheduling is a nightmare.

I was a customer for 2 years at the virginia location. One of the reasons, I use a national chain is because for ease of portability. I travel all the time, i used to be able to go to any center in US and they can pull up my accounts. Now three cities have reported issue pulling up my account. Why would I buy services or pases than???? Or even unlimited if they cannot even locate my account. Also this is another gripe I always had an issue with EUC. You cannot see how many passsesyou have on your online account. You are at the mercy of who ever tells you at the front desk. I just had two locations tells me on the phone that I have no passes when I just bought 10 and 8 passes before COVID 19.

We have had several different technicians, but Erica really stood out to me today...my daughter was gaving a hard day...completely unrelated to the appointment and she was super gentle and compassionate. The center is clean and professional. Always had a good experience. Highly recommended!

Today was my first European Wax Center experience. I was very nervous, but Courtney was absolutley amazing!! Her customer service was second to none. She answered all of my questions and provided me with the necessary knowledge about the entire waxing process and products to ensure that I receive the best outcome and long term results. First time at the European Wax Center was a success!!!! The best leg waxing I have had thus far. They use hard wax which is way less painful than the paper. Cheyenne is your girl for all your waxing needs. She has great energy all around. My eyebrows haven’t looked this good in years. Went to my appointment today,and I have my daughter with me was told that they dont allowed kid in the bldg.It would be nice to let customer know when making an appointment especially to those first time customers i drove 25 mins away to get to this appointment and just waste my time.

My first experience at European Wax Center did not leave me wanting to come back. However a friend recommended that I go see Krissy. I am very glad I reconsidered my decision. Not only was it much more comfortable but Krissy is friendly and her table side manner is extraordinary. She completely turned my experience around.

I highly recommend coming to this center. The customer service has been great every time I came and the staff is very thorough with explaining everything. In addition, I also recommend booking with Courtney especially if you are being waxed for the first time or haven’t waxed in a while. Waxing can be painful but when I booked with her I didn’t feel much pain at all, plus she is very patient.

I got my long overdue eyebrow wax done with Xiara and she worked a miracle!! She even showed me how to fill in my brows and I was so shocked how easy it was. I will recommend her to anyone.

The only reason I might hold back from calling corporate and BBB is because the ladies that actually do the waxing, do a great job. Other than that, the manager needs proper training as well as the receptionists. Customers need to be informed that returns are only available WHEN ITS ON THE MANAGERS TIME AND WHEN ITS CONVENIENT FOR HER. THEY NEED A ASSISTANT MANAGER TO DO WHAT SHE CANT WHEN SHES NOT AVAILABLE.

Ive gone for a wax once before (at a different place of course) My first experience with waxing was an absolute nightmare, but I decided to give EWC a go. Krissy is the absolute best! She made sure I was comfortable the entire time and she is such a sweetheart. If I am ever back in the area I will definitely come back to this location to see her.

I have been here several times but today I was seen by a new girl. I told her three times that the wax was too hot. When she was done I noticed that she removed part of my skin on bikini line and I was bleeding. I was irritated because she knew I was bleeding but did mention it. She knew the wax was too hot and she left it on for too long and it raised part of my skin to the point that its a hole on my bikini line in one area. I put neosporin on when I got home and it burns. I will never come back.

I give this place two stars only because Zara is a great waxer. She actually comforts her clients and distract them with conversations. Unfortunately the unprofessional is unbearable and ridiculous now. I was notified for missed payments (I had no idea of) on the 23rd, they told me I would have 7 days and my waxer would be available in 6. I even call back the next day to make sure it’s from the 23rd.I get to my appointment ready to pay, only to be told my pass is cancelled even though I called twice to confirm that it was was 7 days from the 23rd. Then I waited for someone to answer the phone for 45mins with no answer, I had to go in person to confirm my appointment. It’s been incidents with miss scheduling. After my passes I will be gone.

Great customer service, great wax, just hate that the esthetician leave wax residue you have to clean off yourself. Other than that, really good visit and helpful staff.

When the store opened I participated in the free 45 minute service offer, as advertised for their jump start to the area. I have a salon I currently use for my waxing needs but wanted to consider this place specifically because of its location. Little did I know that the staff are not certified estheticians, merely they get trained through their job and the purpose for the 45 minutes of free services were for them to have practice on clients. This was never disclosed.This could have been forgiven but my experience with the actual service were terrible.Out of all the years I have had a wax, I have only ever had 1 ingrown hair. 2 weeks after my wax and I have too many to count, literally over 30. They are painful and not nice to look at either! I am so upset that I came here and swear to never return. I would recommend the same to you. Find a professional who will not butcher your skin!Staff were all nice... but being nice doing actually provide a service. You have to know what you are doing to get my stars.

Highly recommended! See Krissy! I have been doing sugaring wax hair removal 8 months and wanted to switch to a place closer to my house and a new method. I was extremely nervous, but Krissy was awesome! She assured me that I was good in her hands. She did a wonderful job, and the hard wax was definitely LESS painful than sugaring. I barely felt anything and I have a very LOW pain tolerance. EWC also have a pretty cool points rewards system! I have already set my 4 week appointment to see Krissy again.

It was great service everyone is very friendly but I went to get my eyebrows done and they aren’t the same. Ones shorter then the other and ones thicker then the other. It’s like they didn’t care and just rushed.
