My husband and I had the pleasure to have amazing car shopping experience with what I think had to be hands down the best salesman that I have ever encountered. If anyone needs a car go see my new buddy Ted Pelachick. He will for sure make sure you are more than taking care of. He didnt pressure us and was so patient with us. We was there like 4 hrs and he just keep helping us in ever way. These are just two of the cars we looked at. Out the many we looked at. Hands down the best experience.

Went in for services on my 2014. While waiting my wife went to look at some of the used Pickup Trucks on the lot. Jean came out and ask if she could help us. She asked if wed like to view the inside. She came back with the keys. The 1st PU was to tall with no step bar, so that wasnt the one. However the 2020 Silverado 1500 was the key. I wasnt looking to buy, but the wife gave me the Green light and Im now the proud owner of that 1500. Jean was very professional and very personable. She wasnt pushy and was willing to work with us on some of the issues/concerns we had

OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE!Representative JASON 🏆 was very knowledgeable, personable & helpful to solve some issues I was having with my vehicle and did so in an efficient & cost effective manner. He is a true pleasure to deal with and is an asset to this location! The entire staff was on top of everything and they really looked out for me - they even let me know an inspection was due that I had not realized and took care of it on the spot which saved me a lot of time.Their prices are reasonable and they do not oversell! We normally go to another Buick/GMC dealership out in the Tyson’s area but this dealership goes the extra mile. They have excellent communication & great follow-up. We have decided to switch to Koons in Woodbridge because hands down they show they truly value their customers and we are not just a number! 🙌

I financed my Buick Encore GX from this establishment and was very pleased with the service that I received. Scott seemed quite prepared, even having the car is expressed interest in pulled up and ready for a test drive. While they felt that there was a long wait, I’ve actually had experiences of spending an entire day in a dealership. They were actually very thorough yet timely, in my opinion. I also liked that the finance office worked with the budget given. I highly recommend giving this dealership a visit if you’re looking for a vehicle.

The sales team was great - very friendly, helpful, and cooperative! However the finance manager ruined the entire experience. He was very rude, abrasive, and disrespectful because we secured our own financing and did not entertain Koons financing. He clearly does not have the customers best interest in mind and would rather pressure people into deals they do not want. Beware!

This is the second vehicle that I have purchased from Angel at the Woodbridge location! His professionalism and attention to my needs are exemplary. He went above and beyond when I purchased my first buick and with the second purchase two years later…I received nothing, but the fastest, most efficient, and pleasant customer service from Angel. He kept me in the loop of everything, got me the best deals that I didn’t know I would receive, and both times has my keys waiting for me!! Their new finance department rep is excellent she has great customer support and energy. I love the digital process which had me in and out in less than 10 minutes to sign for my SUV. I honestly can say that Angel, has intrigued my interests and love into becoming part of the Buick car family. Thank you all for the wonderful service. You have a great team in Woodbridge, Va! This was my first visit to Koons Woodbridge Buick GMC and I feel I was very lucky to have Michael Jones for my sales consultant. I told him what I was looking for and he had it ready and waiting when I got there (one hour late due to I-95 backup from Fredericksburg)! I was ruffled but not Mike! We went for a test drive and that was it; I left a very happy customer with my new 2021 Buick Envision! Mike was just great, knew the vehicle, and answered all my questions. The dealership was friendly and not pushy and led me easily through the process and finalizing the sale!

I hate to leave a bad review, but I have had issues with the sale regarding a Toyota plug in hybrid that was sold to me April 2021. Scott Cook was my sales representative and presented the car nicely to me. I loved the car, but both rear wheels had a grinding noise caused by the brake pads and calipers scratching wheel ring. He and another sales representative tried to convince me that this sound was the regenerative braking. After brake pads were replaced, and brake disc cleaned, the issue was resolved. They also tried to sell me the car without a car charger, and if I hadn’t mentioned it, the original Toyota charger would have been missing. This alone costs $400-$500 to replace. Instead, they ordered me a 3rd party charger, but Scott Cook forgot to place my order to my home, resulting in over a month delay, preventing my car from running on electric charge. In addition, he ordered me the wrong charger, which had the wrong plug. In order to use this, I would have to hire an electrician to reroute the electricity in my home. This resulted in another 2 week delay until I went out and changed the plug for the 240v charger. The inexpensive charger has now broken down due to a manufacturing defect, and I have been granted a replacement from the manufacturer as long as I present the order number. I have tried several times to contact Scott Cook for the order #, but he has ignored me for a few days. Without the order number for the charger, I am yet stuck again without electrical. My car battery is depleted. I am disappointed that my first time car purchase has turned into a terrible experience from the sales team.

I left my buick on time for an oil change, check the brakes and rotate the tires. They call me to let me know the diagnostics and price, which I agreed. Hours later I went to pick up my buick and I asked the customer service technician, are you sure that they rotate the tires? He told me yes, but onstar was showing that all the tires were down on air and was exactly the same tire pressure in the same spot that they where in the morning. He told after you go the app will update... ok. In additoon, they never brought my buick to me. I went with my son sounding the alarm to in order to find my buick... was far and for the amount I paid, at least I expected to be vacuum or clean... after using my SUV for one hour the app never upgrade the tire pressure; but the app was not wrong the tires pressure were low... I went to put air in the tires and there is went I notice they rotate the tires but never reset the tires TPMS and when I was adding air in the right back tire the air in the app was showing the front left one ... and I did one by one and all are in the wrong spot in the app... I imagine that was something simple to do... if I paid, I expected a great service, to go beyond the best... but no, I left the dealer with all the tires with low pressure and they do not even brought my buick in front... I am very disappointing and unsatisfied with the service.

When my car wouldnt start, I was going to change out the battery myself. One look at the array of harnesses, supports, and fuses, etc, that had to be disconnected and then reconnected convinced me I did not want to spend hours to take the battery out, buy a replacement and reinstall the battery in the rain and 90°+ heat. Onstar got the car towed to the dealer. I had some other routine maintenance done while it was in. I also learned how many systems dont work right when there is an electrical issue.. The work was done quickly, and I was kept up on the progress. The service staff were pleasant, and careful in explaining what was done.

Dan and the service team took great care of me and my 2016 GMC Sierra 2500 Denali. My check engine light was on and they diagnosed the issue and checked if the warranty would cover the issue. It did and they had my truck ready to pick up the next day. It cost me nothing. They even drove me home while the truck was being services. Quality work!

I own a Black 2015 YukonWe have been taking our truck here for maintenance for about two years. Making sure we stayed on top of all services.Well, recently the transmission went out and the transmission oil was jet black viewed by my eyes from another shop. Koons was going to charge me $5350 to fix transmission. It was pricey so that is why we went somewhere else and saw what happened to a 5 year old transmission with just about 100k miles.My issue, Ive been coming here for a while getting their recommended services according this dealership and not once was a transmission mentioned. For the oil to be as black as it was, mechanics shouldve said something or saw that something wasnt right. Theyve lost a 2 year loyal customer.My transmission was installed by Seats Transmission in Fredericksburgs for $4100

I cannot even begin to emphasize how much I loved working with these wonderful people! I did not think me getting a car was going to be possible, but they made it happen. I told them what I was looking for and my price range. They did not try to upsale me on anything, they were not pushy, and did not have any of the negative stereotypical characteristics salespeople are given. We live in Spotsylvania and drive all the way to Woodbridge to do business with them. I am so happy I decided to buy from them, and we will 100% be going back when its time for another car! BE CAREFUL!!! FINANCING WILL GET YOU!!!! I am not a chronic complainer, but i want consumers to know this. Just get your OWN financing! If rate is higher - STILL get your own financing!!! Once I agreed to a deal on a new GMC Terrain, I go to the finance office and they want to add-on gap insurance, extended warranties. A cute computer screen makes the pitch and then they use cheap tactics - - playing games with the monthly payment to TRICK you into thinking youre getting a low, or same payment with all their add-ons but really, they selling you $4,000 worth of stuff!!!! This transaction was in my fiances name, not this one so I wont show up in their computer. I went to MARYLAND to get a clean deal - - NO add-on products forced on me. Also the process fee here is $899.00....i paid only $499 at Maryland dealer I wont say the name so im not accused of advertising. GET YOUR OWN FINANCE FIRST, if you gonna buy from the Woodbridge GMC dealer.

We came in per a recall on our GMC Sierra. Everything pertaining to the recall was fine. However during our visit we also asked that they check out the windows as the controls seem to not be working well anymore. I was called about the problem and the cost to fix, which for the time being we opted to postpone. I was surprised then when I went in to pick up the truck that I owed $150 for the diagnostics test - done to resolve the window issue. Had I been informed of the cost of the diagnostics test prior to leaving the truck, I would have likely opted to postpone. In the future, I’d recommend your service associates inform customers up front about diagnostic costs and that they will be charged x amount of dollars just to assess the problem.Due to this lack of information ahead of time and the surprise bill we will not be returning to Koons GMC and will not recommend.

I went in for a diagnostic and they didnt do a good job at all. It seems all they were worried about was what they saw on the dashboard and what I told them the other dealership said. But still charged me and said they couldnt guarantee that it would fix the problem. I thought I was going to Professionals that had experience with GMC. Not people that just wanted your money and didnt care about your vehicle or your safety. I took my truck back after paying them $150.00 for doing nothing. I wouldnt recommend them anyone and will not go there again.

Jean and Ted were a pleasure to work with, and everyone in the dealership was friendly and patient. I felt minimal pressure to buy. After an extended test drive, I called to let them know I would be coming back to finalize the purchase and they prepared as much of the paperwork ahead of time as possible making it a quick transaction. Took my Regal up here to trade it in on the Encore since it seems they had a good deal going on. I must say, I had the best experience ever. I usually dread going to dealerships when getting a new vehicle because they give you the run around and youre there for so long. My sale associate Scott took really good care of me and the general manager did as well. They made sure the Encore was in good shape for me and when I had issues with my windshield smearing due to there being a wax coat on it, they took my car and cleaned the entire vehicle up for me again. Best customer service ever. Never had a bad experience with Buick.

I would like to start out this post first by saying the salesman I had at the dealership was great and I give James a 10 out of 10, but the rest of the sales management at Koons was horrible and disrespectful. The only reason I purchased from this dealer was because of the salesman, otherwise I would have walked. I should have walked, and you can say that it is my fault for not, but I had a good experience with the salesman.They care only about profit over customer. They refused to honor the GM Military Discount on the particular vehicle I was purchasing simply because there was limited inventory. To be fair, GM does state that a dealer does not have to participate in the program, but to offer it on less popular slower selling vehicles to move them off the lot, but not on more popular models because they know they can sell that vehicle quickly to a non-military customer is being disingenuous. Claiming to honor servicemembers and then turn around and chose profit over honoring that commitment is disgraceful.They would not provide details on what the ridiculous $899 processing fee was for. Unfortunately, Virginia law does not protect consumers by placing a maximum or cap on the processing fee like other states. I fact after I questioned the processing fee, a sign happened to be put up on their front desk saying all vehicle sales have an $899 processing fee. But still they were not transparent in what they were charging me for.I told them upfront I did not want any of the dealer add-ons as they are just profit makers for the dealer i.e., undercarriage protection, theft protection, extended warranty, etc. The finance manager tried some fancy math with the numbers by showing me a 60-month payment amount for the vehicle without any add-ons compared to a 72-month payment with the extended warranty. ‘Look, even with the extended warranty added in, your payment is less than without it.’ No, you just spread the cost of the warranty out over 12 additional months and added interest on the price of it. I had to refuse four times. No means No, not well maybe. You can ask me once, but do not disrespect me with dishonest math, constant badgering, and wasting my time. My time is just as valuable as anyone else’s.Last, the dealer prep took forever. I was told after an hour of waiting it would be just another 15 minutes. Another hour gone by and still no vehicle. Four people standing around the sales managers desk and not even one asked if we needed anything while we wait or offered to check on what was taking so long.

Do not buy a car from here. I bought a 2014 gmc acadia denali from them 10 days ago for around 23k with 44k miles. Got a call from my wife today that she was broke down on the side of the rd with my kids in the car about 35-40° out side. From what my wife told me and years of mechanical experience beloved the alternator has stopped charging and caused car to die. After calling the dealership for help they basically told me sorry about your luck. So a gmc car bought from this gmc dealership 10 days ago have not even made my first payment yet has my wife and kids stranded on the side of the road and they will not help. Had to pay to have it towed to my home cost $150. And now I have to turn wrenches and repair a car I just spent 23 thousand dollars on 10 days ago. Not impressed at all. Worst customer service ever. Will never go back. And you should never go there to start with.

First I would say, buy from another dealer if another dealer is not a option please read my review to make sure you dont get tricked into paying more. I puchased a new GMC Sierra AT4, about $60k. My experience was unique because I puchased my truck during a switchover from the old dealership to the new dealership. Initially i was told they had to cancel my signed contract, but eventually sold me the truck. But imagine buying a truck and being told.. No Deal!The sales rep was great he made the deal happen! I cant stress that enough, if you decide to buy from dealership ask for Ted.My three issues primarily was(1) They literally tried to cancel the deal which was a signed contract. This made me wonder if they were canceling it to just sell to another customer. I was ticked... and after alot of complaining they agreed(2) the truck was in transit when i made the puchase, it was really late which caused me to make a special trip from Florida to pick it up after I moved.(3) Then last issue was I picked up the truck on a Sunday, dealership was closed but Ted met me (great guy). But the finance team to me appeared to do a bait and switch with the price. The price prior to me showing up based on the invoice they sent me was $1300 less than the dealership paperwork that i signed. I felt that this was a old fashion bait and switch knowing that I was picking the truck up on a Sunday and would have no recourse. After making a special trip from Florida to pick up truck, Ultimately i signed the paperwork for $1300 more but wasnt happy about it. If they would have just been upfront I would not have had this issue with the $1300. The dealer should have honored pricing and not have done a bait and switch aftet everything was agreed too. A TOTAL FAILURE by dealership and a bait and switch at last minute that forced me to pay $1300 more!Overall, if your buying work with Ted. Make sure you buy stock inventory, and keep a close eye on the financing paperwork so they dont do any bait and switch and like all dealerships they never offer you the best interest rate up front. The higher interest rate u pay the more money they make. Have a game plan before via dealer with a pre approved rate. If you buy here good luck, and pay attention so they dont take advantage of you... I paid $1300 more but you could pay thousands more than I did if youndont pay attention. this is a honest review of my experience

I just paid all this money to get my car out the shop to only drive it a day and its still having the same problem that was supposed to be fixed and I paid for that service. No reason my car should still not be working. Do not take your car to that service center they do a bad job. Never again will I have them fix anything on my truck.

Friendly people, but know that they will charge you an additional destination fee on top of the one on the sticker so your sales price will be $995 higher. Our fault for not realizing this, but kind of leaves you a little sour especially when you buy two vehicles at the same time.

I bought my Buick at this dealership. It is a little ways from my house. I had previously bought a Chevrolet Sonic from Ourisman Chevrolet in Alexandria. Ourisman is much closer to my house. I had the Sonic serviced at Ourisman routinely. Yet, I have ended up with major bills. When I had a problem with the Buick intermittently cutting off, I took it to Ourisman because it was closer, and repair bills were adding up at Winegarder Chevrolet (the closest dealer to me). Ourisman kept my car for several days, and I had no idea what was wrong or when they would have an idea. I took my car to Woodbridge GMC Buick. They diagnosed it very quickly as a loose battery cable. I will go to Woodbridge from here on out. I also decided Winegardner was being straight up with me. So 5 stars for Woodbridge, 5 for Windgardner and ZERO for Ourisman in Alexandria.

My car was recently totaled, so I began looking for a replacement. I found a 2017 certified used Buick Encore online, & emailed the dealership for more information. One call turned into a week of frustration that ended in a huge verbal altercation with a supervisor who said the GM was too busy to speak to me, & would not be available if I call back. My son called back. I asked for the GM & heard this is the GM, and I went off...on the wrong GM, at the wrong dealership! BUT, this turned out to be the right dealership for me. Joann Vass, General Manager actually answered the phone. She listened to my story, even though I was screaming. After that, she put the wheels in motion. I KNOW she took care of me personally from start to finish. Her concern was genuine, and she took the negative things Id encountered at many other dealerships into consideration. At the end of the day, literally, she had EVERYTHING in order. When I arrived the next day, there was no confusion. She explained everything, had financing in order, and for the first time I felt like someone actually cared enough to make this process work for me. Keith McCall, the first Salesman who took the time to show me how to operate everything inside the car, David in Finance, all really nice people, & I love my Encore!

Dan in Service Dept. is outstanding! He worked with a 3rd warrantee company to get my transmission service reimbursed. The warrantee company to say the least, was difficult to work with. Dan kept me informed, made multiple calls to the insurance adjustor...sometimes waiting an hour on hold. Dans customer service is among the best I have ever experienced. He is an asset to GMC/Buick. There is no doubt I will always bring my Buick Regal to Woodbridge Buick GMC for service because they truly take care of their customers.

So much for customer service at GMC Woodbridge. If there was an option for zero stars thats what I would have chose. You pull a deal off the table because we wanted to negotiate and say thats it leave we are done here. You were loud and condensing. You tell us we have other customers waiting. Excuse us but we were waiting a very long time before we were seen by the finance department. We have bought 2 vehicles in the past from this dealership but after today we will gladly take our business and money elsewhere.

Do not buy this car. 2008 Buick Lucerne. It has water damage in the trunk. It floods behind the bumper and its been there awhile because theres mold too. Even in showing this water damage they wouldnt budge on the over priced car. Stay away!!!!!

This is a wonderful location!!! The staff is amazing and the service is great! Mr. Dan showed me how to check the engine oil in my truck and also put the little sticker I like, in the windshield just so I can see when the next oil change is. That’a if I forget how to search for the engine oil life status. Exceptional quality service from real people!!! I have already made my mind up about where I plan to purchase my next vehicle. This dealership is great. They were pleasant, made sure we looked at every vehicle we wanted to, and were more worried about us finding what we wanted instead of making a sale. They went above and beyond. Our only complaint is they got backed up, so we were waiting in line to make the final purchase. However, during this time they constantly reached out to us to make sure we were comfortable and needs were met.
