I love Lidl,I lived 30 years next to Germany and I know they have best stuff,love it here as well,fresh pastries,cheapest eggs and bread,and all the German chocolate! Bags are inconvenient but we just bring our own,also we live 5 min from the store

Seems both Aldes and Lidle pride them selves in selling products under their name, but Aldes has better prices. Lidle has more product lines and in some cases more choices but, I have to shop both to get best prices and still have to visit Safeway or Giant to get everything I need

Choice is limited, dont go there for baby food. Go there for the bakery, great croissants, the real deal! Only one outdoor space for carts, not really convenient. Parking entry is kind of hidden. Great prices on frozen food

Great prices. Clean store employees could be a little friendlier. But all in all a good experience.

Terrible experience. I usually go to one near my house which has better selection. This woodbridge location has rude and unprofessional employees. And the manager is even worse. No attention to detail filthy dirty floors and under the produce. Employees dont care if you ask for something they point to the direction and walk away. Even the manager will continue ripping the boxes and wont yield to an old lady so she can get some apples. I couldnt believe what I saw. I am writing to the corporate about this. Since there is no customer service phone. You lost a customer for life. Never going back and would not recommend anyone to go to this hole.

I experienced here worse customer service I dont like the way they talk and return service has been done here so badI bought one of the tools Im trying to return that because its doesnt work and its not good too I dont recommend it anybody to buy it when I went to store I have a receipt and I paid with credit card and the manager alamgari said you have to have a same credit card order to return it which I dont understand I Said to him back the money same card. or store credit he refused it. Thats not best customer service you can expect it over here be your own. I dont recommend anybody. For these kind of hustle.

I have been to Lidl 3 times. I am just not that impressed with their prices. Their meat is comparable to the chain grocery stores in the area. And the same applies to their milk, eggs, and bread. The canned foods are pretty inexpensive. Pretty good bakery though and a good wine selection. But choices are very limited so no I will not be a regular shopper.

Nice store compared to the local giant near me. Better selection for organic vegetables and fruits. And far better prices than giant. Glad a lidl will be coming near my home soon. The selection is very goid for a variety of shoppers. They even had grass fed beef. I was impressed. Ill be shopping more at lidl. Check it out. You will likely see its a great store

Lidl offers affordable and unique food selections. They have a full service bakery and awesome wine section. The also offer select seasonal household items. Bring your own reusable bags or you will have to purchase paper or plastic bags.

They used to open 7am on Tuesdays and Thursdays and that was convenient for people like me to shopping before going to work. I hope they will do that again

I have been shopping here since it’s open I need to commute extra 4/5 miles compared to my commute to ALDI and I never returned anything but today I had to return a few things the cashier said in a loud voice “you going to return all that “ there were only two items n six pieces in Total .It was not a good experience.

The store was good but I felt little discriminate about the cashier, didnt said hi to me and she ignored me when I asked a question...

Terrible experience at Lidl located at Minnievile rd. In Woodbridge with a rude young cashier who made a mistake over mistake in my receipt and instead of saying sorry she kept over charging my card. When I complained about it, she started to yell at me in front everybody. Completely disappointing.

Their selection might not be very elaborate but Value is there!

I loved Lidl when I lived in Europe and I love having its stateside.The big debate is often which is better, Lidl or Aldi? I tilt toward Lidl because the stores are larger, nicer, dont require quarters for carts, have self check-out, and have a bakery on site.Its not always a slam dunk. There are items I can only get at Aldi (hello, whole milk yogurt), but overall I love Lidl. Solid prices. Quality products. Attentive staff.And parking here is so much easier to deal with than parking at Aldi.

Itll be hard to make Lidl your only grocery store. Youll learn what are your GO-TO items from Lidl. There is not as wide a selection as other big markets, but the prices are good. My dings on Lidl is often theyre out of what you went there to get, sometimes sale items as well. Be prepared for lines as there is usually only 1 register open, and sometimes self checkout is closed too.

Best place to get your meats and poultry at affordable prices. Always have good on produce weekly. One small bad note: They almost never have sanitizer or wipes for the carts.

The price of some items is rather good but the selection is limited and the produce is often quite old. The biggest issue for me is the lines. There is no clear designation for the lines and they are often very long, slow moving and disorganized, even when its not very crowded. This store used to be run much better. I shop here much less frequently than I used and I always regret it when I do. This last time was the final straw.

During the past several months the Dumfries store has SHARPLY curtailed check-out cashiers forcing customers to use self-check out options. Store employees tell me this is done to save money. It has made shopping in the store a hassle. Lidl lost this customer.

Great prices on meat and produce. Great prices on staple pantry items like canned goods and dried pasta/rice etc. Disappointing that they are occasionally completely out of things I buy on the regular (especially if there was a sale and you dont go the day it starts) but understandable.Employees are generally helpful but nothing special. Occasional inappropriate conversations around customers/talking about other customers amongst staff/yelling profanities in the parking lot while pushing carts/not wearing masks properly. Not great.

Lidl is a great place to shop for basic essentials, gourmet items, and off-brand staples. The prices are outstanding, and the quality of the food is always very high. If youre looking for specific brand names, this isnt the place, and the larger supermarkets do have more variety and more options - you wont have five brands of peanut butter to choose from or eight kinds of marinara sauce - but if youre just looking for good food at reasonable prices you cant go wrong here.

Mediocre customer service. I was not aware that a 3 year old must wear a mask in the store. I was approached rudely by an older worker telling me that the 3 year old must wear a mask in order to shop. I told you him I was not aware and he rudely showed me a sign. I left my full cart of groceries and left since I did not have an extra mask. I felt discriminated due to the fact that there were other kids not wearing masks but I was the chosen one to get picked on.

Great little bakery!

It doesnt have the largest selection around, so if you are looking for specific brands of cereal or niche vegetables, you have to go to a larger store.That being said, once you generally know what they sell, you CANNOT beat the prices.Once I got two dinners worth of vegetables and sides for $7. I had to double check I rang it all up!Not to mention their weekly general items are pretty good. Got a laminator for $25 and it has lasted years.

Love shopping their. But the bagging should be set across so customers wont feel rushed bagging there items. And so we can stay our six feet apart it should be a set up like Aldis so we can bag. But great prices. And they should start selling more family size product. Because customers shop for large family. They can do it. Ad more verity of frozen foods. Keep the good job of fresh fruit and veggies. Also everyone I shop in is cleaned. Keep the good work need more cashiers though.

First short 15 minute visit to this store so its only awarded a neutral 3 stars. It opened just last Thursday. They sell food, bakery products, dairy, etc. PLUS some clothing items. When you go there, BRING YOUR OWN SHOPPING BAGS as they charge for paper and plastic bags. It is located on the eastern side of Minnieville Rd where there is no break in the median strip, so its best to choose your route. They dont want photos to be taken inside the store. They sell a mixture of different brands, some familiar to shoppers and some not. Prices are competitive with other grocery stores.

I love this store! Even when the line is long, they send someone up to open another register all of the staff are friendly and kind. Always very helpful, as well.

I go to Lidl for their Wine! They have great deals on other items. Most are an off brand name Im not familiar with, but the taste and quality is above average. I love their fresh bread. The veggies are fresh and good looking. The meats are individually packaged as opposed to the family packs were accustomed to. But, their Everyday wines make the trip worthwhile! I leave with minimum of 10 bottles for my wine rack. Oh, and the definitely have nice employees. Friendliness goes a long way these days.

Great prices, good selection and I find myself looking out for the new non-food items on sale every week. Absolutely love their fresh bakery items. Been a bit bummed lately tho with inconsistent availability of organic milk. Everything else I love!Update: Love, love eating their amazing fresh-baked baguettes with butter or as a delicious sandwich. They taste great and sometimes theyre still warm from the oven. They cost way less than other local vendors, too.Very glad Lidl is in my town. 😁

I went there today because I noticed on my receipt that I was overcharged. There was a line outside so I went to the employee in the front to ask her if it could be adjusted without me having to bring back an items, but as soon as I walked up to her she started yelling “there’s a line!” & “get in line!” I tried to tell her I just had a question but she continued to yell. I have never dealt with such an ignorant and disrespectful employee. None of my friends and family will be coming back. We rather such at other stores with much better service and just as good prices such as Aldi, giant, etc.

Aldis has way better options minus bakery. I stop in today for one specific item and get told it’s a locked item that can’t be sold to me when checking out, to say I was confused it’s an understatement. There was a freezer full of this stuff put out, train your staff better so don’t they don’t put up items they can’t sell and waste your customers time.

This place has good products but no longer worth the aggravation as theres always a scanning error each time I go even when I tell them sign is there if it,s a sale they try to charge regular price often saying that,s what it is or they fail to remove the prior weeks sale sign on product this is not an isolated incident this happens just about everytime I go and I live by myself not like I,m purchasing a cart full of items usually its 10 Items or less.UPDATE :afer not going for almost a year I went there first September 26 then October 10 a scanning error both times then both times they ran weekend only specials both times out of one of the specials early on Sunday afternoon .I understand thiers supply chain issues all over but if you can,t have adequate supplys on hand don,t run the sale.Store also dirty outside and inside trash.

Large selection of products, everything looked fresh. Clean spacious isles. Many special findproducts that seem to be good values. Easy access from the road plenty of free parking. Definitely a place to try out if youve never been there. Im sure youll keep going.

Purchase 2 avocados for super bowl dip and discovered they were both rotten inside.This evening I brought them back with my receipt and they returned the amount I had paid. Plus they told me to get a couple more on them. When I told them they were sold out they gave us a bag of 4 avocados free.Nice approach then a customer service issue is presented.

Ive only been here a couple of times, but the store is clean and organized, the cashiers are polite and efficient.

Always clean and stocked. Getting in and out of the lot is tight but the parking is always available and there seem to always be carts by the door. The back section has home goods of various sorts and I have fun checking their clearance as well. Beer prices are great, as well as wine and champagne. Watch for the weekend sales in the meat department.

Great, new grocery store!! Prices are very good. Has a nice selection of organic products at very reasonable prices in comparison to other stores. The produce prices are great. I cannot buy 3lb organic rainbow carrots for $1.99 at any other store. Plus, these carrots have such better flavor. The Lidl brand hummus is better than any brand I have ever bought. It is creamy and flavorful. You can also find great household buys while there. They will have anything from clothing to housewares to automotive to exercise equipment. You name it, you may find it, and the prices are good. I bought a toaster for $10, and I am loving it. The store is always clean and well-stocked. My only wish is that they had more stores open.

Great prices on everything from produce, fresh baked goods, wine and more. Also because this is a German chain expanding in to the US, they can bring a lot of European specialty items to the US market and very reasonable prices. Very clean store with wide aisles. Also has a nice selection of non food items including clothing. This was my first trip here, but this will become my go to grocery store. Bring your own bags, or purchase theirs for a very nominal fee. A tremendous shopping experience.
