I wish I lived near this Lego store. this lego store is my hidden gem in Potomac Mills. every time I come to this location, they always have damaged boxes on sale!! its such a great deal as some of them arent sold outside of the Lego store & getting that small extra discount is worth it. I black out every time I enter this store & leave with some amazing sets! my Lego wall is almost filled thanks to this store! highly recommend you check this store out :)

Didnt go in but you cant go wrong with Legos. Great for staying creative and causing lots of soul crushing pain. Maybe also a good burglar deterrent, havent a need for that...yet.
The LEGO Store is great for children and adults alike. The staff are helpful and friendly and they have a wide variety of LEGO sets for any age (and that includes the big kids aka the 20, 30, 40+ year olds).One neat thing about the store is they have a large bin-like container with many pieces, so you can build as many of your own LEGO people as you need.All in all, this is a great place to stop and window shop or to find those rare sets that arent sold in the big box stores.

Today was Star wars day. The store was insane. The staff was overly helpful and very on top of things. Cant say enough nice about the customer service with lego.

This is the closest Lego store to Southern Maryland. Very clean and the staff are awesome as always. They only let a certain number of people in and you have to stay in the yellow area. Fairly large store with plenty of new items. Theres normally a line to get in.
Had a great experience there. The store had great control of the amount of people inside for the covid and the staff all wore appropriate masks. The store had alot of space for the people to walk about and the staff was knowledgeable about their products.

I cant say enough on the customer service I received from Lauren. I called looking for a specific set that was hard to find. She offered to have it shipped to me rather than driving close to four hours to pick it up. I called on a Saturday during the holiday rush and she was as pleasant as can be. She went over and beyond to make one little boy happy on Christmas morning. I really appreciate her positive and friendly personality.

Kids love the Lego store as they get to play there. However, it is hard to pull them out of there. It is located next to Playground so kids always spot it and want to go inside. They have legos for all ages and the prices are not bad.

Funtastic build today! Lauren was a fabulous leader assisting with us making Valentines day cards.It was a lot of fun getting to build Lego with other adults. The staff was all laid back and having a good time.Definitely keeping an eye out for more events at Lego.

I just had the most incredible experience of selflessness I believe Ive ever felt. I went to the Lego store in Potomac Mills and I was so excited to spend $100 so I could get the nutcracker. Well what I neglected to realize is that this was a Black Friday thing and when the cashier rung me up I guess he could see my heart drop with disappointment. I contemplated putting everything back and returning on Friday but crowds and a barely 5ft person arent a thing for me. Needless to say I swallowed my pride and was just going to go home feeling defeated. Well my cashier, David, went to the back of the store and came out and said that he received one as an employee and that he already had one that was his Nanas that passed away so hed like me to have his if I wanted it 😭😭😭😭😭😭. I was humbled and hesitated because I didnt feel like I deserved it if it wasnt available but I REALLY wanted it so I actually accepted the gift with the utmost gratitude. I wanted to buy him a Lego in return of his liking but he refused. I will find some way to repay his kindness and I will pay it forward. David, you are special and I hope God continues to bless you. If you go to the Potomac Mills Lego store please say hi to David and make him feel special. Fill out the survey for his kindness and lets raise him up with kind words so he is recognized.
I feel like an incident today could have been handled better. Clearer rules on the pick a brick cups might help incidents with our younger builders. There are excellent staff here always willing to help and talk Lego.
My son absolutely LOVES this store!!!! The associate today signed me up to be a VIP member, which nobody has ever told me about in the past two years of me going there, I really appreciated that, and I will definitely be returning before the holiday! Thank you!!
We come to this store every single month for the Lego build. The staff has always been extremely helpful and friendly. They are also patient with my youngest when hes paying for his Lego sets on his own and still learning about money and discounts. Prices are comparable to most other stores, but the price of Legos, in general, has gone up. I highly recommend becoming a VIP member if you have a Lego obsessed kid to collect points for discounts and to sign up for the free Lego build each month.
My favorite toy store in the area. Love how helpful the associates are at this location. Very accommodating and patient with my 7 year old nephew. Many great selection of toy assorted by age. A great option for a young explorative child to select an educational toy.

Came in here yesterday looking for some pieces that the kids had lost from some of their sets. Staff was super helpful and gave us the number to customer service in order to get the pieces we need since they werent carried in store. Everyone was super friendly.

Build your own minifigs is a cool idea and so is the wall of random pieces you can choose from. If you become a member of the Lego program your membership expires if it isnt used within 2 years. We live 5 hours away and we dont go to the store often enough but now you can use your membership online. Also, the store is cool (a lego store, there arent that many) but just has a limited selection that Im guessing is chosen based on sales and/or new releases. This year everything my son wants is online and nothing he wanted was in the store. The store has the two unique features I mentioned earlier but thats it. Id also like to point out that there are 2 lego stores very close to each other (about 30 minutes apart) but then no stores for hundreds of miles in between which is why we dont go very often. We live too far away to visit regularly. These are my issues. The store was clean and organized. The staff was friendly.
We loved this store especially since we so not have one in Richmond, VA. We built our own Lego people 3 for $10 - great deal to us and fun for the family. Large base mats for $8 - something my daughter really needed. Experience made us want to go to the LA Lego Land.

I have always liked legos. This store is closest to us, but too far away just to visit. Large space, but not much filling it. Legos have always been over-priced, and today its worse. Too much emphasis on themes and not enough on the creativity that made legos great initially. This store is in potomac mills, which reduces the desire to visit. Too crowded.
Lots of amazing sets on display such as a millennium falcon, a death star, and a working roller coaster. Also lots for kids to play with even without buying anything.
I like this Lego store because its very easy to get there and the workers are nice.

Largest of the Lego retail shops in the DC region compared to others, selection is always current and staff are very friendly and helpful.
I am a super fan of Lego and its philosophy. Unfortunately the employees of Lego Store at Potomac Mill Mall dont share and behave that philosophy. Last Sunday ( 08 / 07 / ), my son and I were at the store. We did the same routine : built at store something and then put the pieces in the vase and buy them. In this opportunity, when we were building our masterpiece two employees came to us to warned us that the pieces were there to buy them and not to play with them. We were astonished and we left the store after puting them back. I hope the employees are new and not that Lego changed its philosophy.
Was great to see all of the different Legos. Abit upset that they didnt have more and was a bit pricey for the sets.
